Steve Lane: Hey gang...this is Steve from Warner...love the pictures they are awesome. Actually I wanted to tell you that I have been seeing the lady at Benett Cemetery. I've seen her a couple of times and I have been getting those strange feelings like I was at Coleman Cemetery in Porum. I've been having to patrol the cemetery here quite often lately and I just don't want to go in there. But anyway have a good one and holler back at me.

I believe in ghosts, only because I had an encounter with one. I woke up in the middle of the night once, to feel someone sitting down on the edge of my bed. There was NO ONE there, but there was something moving, and putting pressure on my bed. I also felt as though I was not alone in my room, even though the door was closed and locked from the inside. I closed my eyes and I either fainted or fell back to sleep- but I know I wasn't dreaming. When I woke it was gone.
: Our hotel is haunted, Ive seen a man sitting in the front bar when I was riding my pushbike past and waved to him and he waved back. When I went back to the pub I asked who was in the pub earlier, the barman said noone. Also Ive been upstairs and seen a man and his dog sitting on a couch, ghosts. In one of the hotel rooms Ive felt the presence of a man and could visualise his experiences. I wrote a story about a cane cutter that lived there, and died there, and I think that is a part of his history.

girlsrule42: omg i love this website!!!!!!!!!!! i would like to tell you a theory and i would like to see if you agree. my teacher thinks that ghosts are trapped in kind of a seperate dimension and if you see them , they can't see you. Do you think this is true? also, she told us one day a ghost story. a man was in gettysburg and i think it was the day that the battle had taken place. He pulled up in his car right next to the battlefield. there was a reeanactment going on of the battle. he told whoever he thought was doing the reenactment that they did a great job. they told him that they didn't have a reenactment of the battle that day. it is just like on you apparations info page, it is like the recurring images. also, the same teacher showed us a picture also from gettyburg that some one that went with her took in a place that was haunted. my teacher saw it right after it was taken because it was a digital camera. you could see a ghost of a man from the waist up with a hat on. it was so creepy and i have had my doubts about ghosts existing, but ever since i am a full- fledged believer in ghosts!

My Brother passed away in 2003
I decided to write this short story, just because I think it's time.He passed away in the hospital while waiting on a Heart transplant.Thay though thay had a heart for him,but it wasn't any good, but thay preet him for surgery before they knew this, and as they were taking him down for the operation, and we all were standing around waiting to say good bye,and to tell him we would see him soon.I looked at him and smile, and told him I would see him soon slick, and called him sugar butt, thats how we talked to each other. A few days later he became alot worst, and the doctors said he wasn't going to make it,we were all with him when he passover. We all left the hospital after a few hours.I went over to my Mothers house the next day,and it was only her and I,we were sitting in her livingroom talking, when my Mother looked over at me and ask me what that was on my check, and I told her nothing, but she said there was,so I brush my cheek off,and there was sugar on my cheek,I know Bill put it there to let me know he was alright, and doing fine, and for all of us to stop crying for him.It did make me smile again,I knew it was his way of saying everything was ok,and he love me to.You know that old saying penneys from Heaven is a way of showing us there still around us? Well there was alot of penneys for my sisters and Mother, they where all over the place.
I just wanted to tell this story.I really believe there is another life after death, and death is in it's on way a new begining, but thats just my belife. One thing for certain we all will no one day. We are born to learn what we need to,and then were gone .As you are in life,as you are in the after life. GOOD OR BAD.It's your choise.Be wise & kind to those in need.
Thank You "LIZ" OF Ghosts4

My husband and I visited the Cresent in july 2003. First time either of us had been to Eureka, and the first for checking out a haunted hotel, but we had seen all about the Cresent on the travel channel and wanted to check it out. We live in Missouri so we decided to take a few days and go. It first of all is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We were on the second floor just outside of Michael's room, when I felt so chilled that I could not move, my husband told me do as the lady told us just move. Tears welled up in my eyes, and I was so moved by the feeling that I felt that I was not sure what to do I had not ever felt that kind of feeling before. We taped our whole time there. Even though we did not stay there we did go back on our fist night around mid-night .We seen a lot, but our tape tells a lot more. The ball room We have a man and woman dancing. We have watched this tape a thousand times and there is no way it could have been trees. We have had friends watch that later went to the Cresent and there is just no other excuse except a man and a woman dressed for ball-room dancing to show up on this tape other than that they were there. I will be glad to send a copy of my tape.
This is my ghost story. It's the only proper experience I've had but here it is anyway. Thanks.
The only true experience I've had of ghostly happenings is on a visit to the Vaults, in Edinburgh - the capital city of Scotland. It is supposed to be one of the most haunted places in the world. When I entered, I had my mobile phone. I later used it to take pictures. The place was, hundreds of years ago, a haven for criminals and a place where illegal drinks could be drunk without fear of being discovered, and gambling was played. Also there were the incredibly poor families who had nowhere to live but in the tiny, cold, damp and dark stone areas of the underground passages of the Vaults and Mary King's Close.
Various ghostly presences have been reported there, and in the other underground areas, Mary King's Close. Small ghostly orbs have been captured a lot on camera and on video there, as well as the apparent invisible force of a woman - one who lived long ago, underground. She was dreadfully poor and pregnant with a child, which died before birth. She is upset by her unborn child's death even today and is said to hit and hurt young women, mostly pregnant ones, and even attempt to push them over. Roars and laughter of men drinking and gambling can apparently still be heard sometimes, as have some other things.
When we went in, I felt cold. I was with another group of students and everyone wasn't really expecting to see anything, or feel anything. But several things happened during the visit:
I used my camera phone (cellphone, whatever) to take pictures of various places of the vaults - and for the first time ever, my phone did something weird. About 4/5 times trying to take pictures, when I pressed the capture button, the screen would go fuzzy and the colours would distort - rainbow colours, like when screen things fail. Then it said, "Unable to capture". Ghostly presences are known to cause problems for electronic devices. I also had no reception, but that was probably because we were underground and below a lot of stone. Was it just a coincidential mobile phone failure? Or the presence of ghosts?
When we were going out of the Vaults, one of my friends with me felt something on his leg. He was wearing shorts. He looked down and grunted - there were two or three long, thin scratches on his leg. "Was that there before you went in?" I asked. "No," he said. I asked him if he believed in ghosts. He said no. I'd known him for a while and he didn't tend to play many practical jokes. That was also very weird.
