The Number of the Beast is mentioned in the Book of Revelation of the Christian New Testament and has long been accepted to be 666. In some interpretations of Christian eschatology the "Beast" is believed to refer to an Antichrist.The number 666 has many mathematical properties, some more interesting than others. -

I don't like the numbers is about all I have to say about that. The reason is the mark of the beast. I will not call a number with it nor pay for something with those numbers
G'day. wow, you have a lot of signatures! I was interested in the page on 666. Sure sounds like a microchip to me. They are doing it now on animals and I believe are already experimenting on volunteer humans.
When it comes to the paranormal, the thing that make me think most is this: 10 out of 10 people die and the moment you and I die, our beliefs about what happens next will finally be put to the test. And we cannot afford to be wrong. Especially if there is a day of judgement, and God, heaven and hell are real.

'Number of the beast'
The reference to 666 is taken from translations of the Biblical book of Revelation, which talks about the events leading to the end of the world.
Revelation 13:18 states: "If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666."
Although in recent years scholars at Oxford University said that they had discovered a 3rd Century papyrus, from Oxyrhynchus, which gives the Number of the Beast as 616.
And a manuscript fragment from the 11th Century lists the number as 665.
The traditional number, 666, has fascinated and puzzled Christians for centuries and led to a great deal of speculation about its meaning.
Many scholars believe it is a reference to the Roman emperor at the time Revelation was written - either Nero or Diocletian. Both men put large numbers of Christians to death.
Using the Jewish system of Gematria, in which each letter is given a number, either name can be made to add up to 666.
The fear of the number 666 is known as hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia.
What is the Mark of the Beast?
The mark of the beast is a combination of letters and symbols that will be physically and permanently placed on your forehead or right hand. Most people will consider it an honor to receive the mark. It will be like a key for them that will open doors of acceptance, prosperity and peace.
The mark of the beast will be placed on people who worship the beast and choose to receive his mark. There will be severe penalties for refusing the mark and great rewards for getting it.
Worship the beast and get his mark
The mark of the beast will be enforced. The people who believe in the beast and worship him will be glad to get his mark.
The beast is not a person or a human organization. The beast is Satan himself. But when Satan comes as the beast he will appear in a glorious body. People will not recognize him as the Devil. He will claim to be God and most people will believe that he is God.
The mark of the beast is an outward, physical symbol, showing that the wearer has chosen to worship the beast and receive him as God.
