The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Stephen Sondheims thriller is undoubtedly the major musical event of the year.  Set in darkest Victorian London it tells the infamous tale of Sweeney Todd, the demon barber, who forms an enterprising business relationship with Mrs. Lovett, the proprietress of the downstairs pie shop.  This razor sharp production delivers a hugely entertaining experience, an original blend of deliciously black humour and thrills.

This Tony Award-winning musical with a book by Hugh Wheeler and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim is brought to you by Ghosts.  The musical is based on the 19th-century legend of Sweeney Todd, and specifically upon the 1973 play by  Christopher Bond.
