“Why are we walking this way? We could just double back and cut through the soccer field. C’mon.”
“Add a half mile to the trip... Why? For what?”
“You know why and you know for what.”
“Yeah. Well that reason sucks. I’m sick of this shit, Barry.”
“I know you are.”
Daniel stopped.
“What?” The blonde one asked.
“No. I fucking mean it. I’m really sick of this.” Dan looks his friend straight in the eye. “I’m home, I take shit from my father every stupid goddamn day! Like it was his second job. There’s nothing I can do about that... I come here... I take shit from these ignorant motherfuckers who shouldn’t even be allowed to wipe my ass... Much less kick it over and over again.”
“And there’s nothing you can do about that either.”
“Well, I might argue with you on that, there’s stuff that can be done.”
The dark haired boy moved foreward.
“Okay, well, let’s not start worrying about that now. We got a couple more weeks left and then its over forever.”
“We really left our mark here didn’t we? That’s 12 years of beatings and degrading bullshit. This crap has been going on since the 1st fucking grade. What’s our legacy? We saw, we came, we got pissed on weekly? Fuck that! I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna walk where I wanna walk, Barry! And if you had an ounce of respect for yourself, you’d walk right beside me.”
“Like I said, we got a couple more weeks and then it’s a fresh start!”
“Forget about 2 weeks, okay? Forget about it! No one shits on Daniel Lyne ever again! You can believe that!” With that, Dan turned away and began to walk toward the forbidden ground, the football field.”
“Look at these boys!” Ricky Herman shouted.
“You knew they were here, didn’t you!?” Barry shouted.
“We’re just walking.” Dan said, calmly.
“What the fuck are you doing here, Danny?” Ricky asked, with sarcastic friendliness in his voice. “Hey, Danny.” He said, grabbing the dark haired boy’s arm. “No, dude, chill, I just want to give you a high five.” During this time, Barry was getting shoved around by Ricky’s friends. Both were tackled to the ground.

“So what do you want to do today?” Mandella asked her brother. Mandella was a pretty girl. She was tall and slim. Her black hair contrasted with her milky white skin.
“I dunno.” Wolfgang, her brother, answered. Wolfgang was a bit shorter than Mandy. His hair was longish and black.
“I can’t wait for the party in 2 weeks.” Mandella said, randomly.
“Me neither. There’s only 6 people coming so far, though.”
“Yeah, but it’ll still be fun. I mean, it’ll be the same people we hang out with everyday and not some strangers. We’ll be able to be ourselves and not pretend we’re someone else.”
“Yeah. But we really need to find more people.”
“Leave me alone!” They heard someone scream in the distance.
They immediately ran toward the noise.
When they finally arrived, it was almost too late.

By this time Dan and Barry had been humiliated and degraded to the max for that day. Their pants and boxers were around their ankles with only their shirts covering their most iintimate parts. All they could do was look down and try not to cry.
“You’re obviously not showers.... Let’s see if you’re growers.” Ricky said.
Dan looked at him in disbelief. “What?”
Ricky smirked. “Get it up...” He said, making a rude gesture with his hand.
Wolfgang and Mandella walked onto the field. “If you want to see that, you could just watch porn, you know.” Mandella said.
“Who the fuck are you guys?” Rick asked.
Wolfgang took out his knife. “I’m Wolfgang. And if you don’t back the fuck off, you’re going to be dickless.”
“I’d like to see you try.”
Wolfie stalked foreward, looking Ricky straight in the eye. He pushed Dan and Barry out of the way and pressed his knife against Ricky’s dick through his jeans. “Are you gonna back off?” Wolfgang asked.
Ricky stepped back. He looked at Dan and Barry, who had taken this time to pull their pants up. He looked at Mandella, who was obviously ready to back up her brother at anytime. “I’ll let you go now. But if I see either one of you again, you’re dead.” He said to the siblings. He walked off with his group.
Wolfgang returned his knife to his back pocket. “You guys ok?” He asked, looking back at Barry and Dan.
“Yeah. Thanks for helping us. I’m Daniel, this is Barry.”
“I’m Mandella, that’s my brother, Wolfgang.”
“Mandy, we gotta get going. We gotta fix up the cabin for the party.”
“Wolfie, there’s only 4 other people coming and its 2 weeks from now.”
Wolfie turned to Barry and Dan. “You guys wanna come? Party. 2 weeks. Cabin in the middle of the woods. It’s got heat, electricity, the whole nine yards.”
Dan and Barry looked at eachother and shrugged. “Yeah. Sure. But We’ll need a ride.” Dan said.
“No problem. It’s 2 weeks from Friday. We’ll pick you up around 7?” Mandella said.
“Sure. Pick us up at the corner down by the Lucky Mart.” Barry said.
“Sure.” Wolfgang said. He took out his knife and handed it to Barry. “I think you need this more than I do. Use it wisely.” He said before leaving with his sister.
