Winners of Pair-A-Normal Contest Ready to Investigate
Christian Sacoolas and Jennifer Nelson, winners of SyFy's Pair-A-Normal Contest, are ready to being hunting for ghosts in their area, reports the Santa Cruz Sentinel. The couple has won research equipment which is valued at being at $10,000 and plans for their investigations to be filmed for the internet and possibly be broadcast online. To find out more about Christian Sacoolas and Jennifer Nelson's investigations visit www.facebook.com/santacruzparanormal.
Sacoolas and Nelson beat out hundreds of other applicants on a live episode broadcast Halloween night. They were selected by The Atlantic Paranormal Society and SyFy "Ghost Hunter" co-stars Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, and were judged on the basis of their passion for paranormal research, team chemistry and an understanding of investigation techniques.
The pair will be awarded research equipment, valued around $10,000, which they will use to investigate reported paranormal activity in Santa Cruz County and beyond. Their investigations will be filmed for the Internet and possible broadcast on television.
"We'd like to get a big spotlight on some local places," Sacoolas said.
Sacoolas and Nelson will approach their ghost-hunting scientifically, they said. They are enlisting a research team, while both friends and strangers suggest places to investigate. Suggestions so far include Porter College and the Barn Theater at UC Santa Cruz, the Brookdale Inn and Spa and the Winchester Mystery House.
Nelson said that their victory was sudden.
"We went from Point A to Point X in a half a second," she said.
Nelson said they are open to investigating just about anything, and that they will learn as they go. They're hoping that individuals and businesses will get in touch with them, she said.
Sacoolas said they will become "weekend warriors," balancing their research into the paranormal with fulltime jobs and school. All investigations will be free.
The duo is planning a test run, once the equipment arrives in a few weeks. Nelson said that they are open to suggestions or additional crew members, and that people can contact them through their Facebook page.
Sacoolas and Nelson, who will be celebrating their five-year anniversary as a couple this month, said that they've been watching "Ghost Hunters" together throughout their relationship.
"People and our culture have really categorized this idea of a ghost and assigned attributes to that," Sacoolas said. "And I'm not sure if I subscribe to any of that. We're just kind of curious."
Donna LaCroix Rips On Ghost Hunters
Donna LaCroix, former TAPS team member, appeared on the "Ghost Divas" radio show and nothing but negative things to say about her experience on the show Ghost Hunters. Among her many allegations were that her contract with the show almost made her bankrupt, that the show is complete enterainment and rumor has it that there is a staging crew, that Brian Harnois was exploited to the point of mental abuse, and she admits that she is bitter. At then end of the show she does mention that her exerperience was not all bad and that "she made some great connections, met some really nice people and was glad that Ghost Hunters had brought the paranormal discussion into so many living rooms." Jason Hawes has rebutted Donna's claims with these remarks:
Peoples (sic) views on things are their views, People can say whatever they want. That is what makes the country great.
I was asked not to respond about it directly from Syfy and Pilgrim, They want to write something up and release it. We have nothing to hide so I am comfortable with that.
I do ask that the fans of GH to not attack her in anyway, and please do not say negative things about her.
For a few minutes this was on Jason’s Twitter feed but then it was removed:
As for those asking if I heard radio thing. A bit. Not concerned at all. TAPS has never done anything wrong. People can say what they want.
Donna then responded with these remarks:
I wasn’t trying to discredit anyone. I was answering questions about MY experience. I never said anyone faked anything, just that if it did go on, I wouldn’t be privy to any info because everyone knows I take investigating seriously.
Thank you all for your support. And I do applaud Jason for coming forward with a reply. And, please no attacks on Jason, GH, and GHI. I NEVER intended my words would be on the flame throwing level.

Sneak Peeks Of Next Week's GH & GHA
Next week brings two new episodes of Ghost Hunters and the newly premiered Ghost Hunters Academy. TAPS is heads down south and investigates the Pensacola Lighthouse while the Ghost Hunters Academy recruits are boarding the USS North Carolina to test out their ghost hunting skills. You can see both video previews at this link.
This week on Ghost Hunters Academy, Steve and Tango take the investigators-in-training down to North Carolina and put their skills to the test at the U.S.S. Carolina. Their job will be to collect concrete evidence that will back up the chilling claims of doors slamming, people talking, and pots and pans banging when there's no one else in the room. They'll learn how to use more ghost hunting technology. But will their egos get in the way as they try to maneuver through the haunted ship maze? Tune in to see if one of the students ends up walking the plank and kissing their dreams of becoming a Ghost Hunter goodbye.
Head down south with the i>Ghost Hunters crew as they investigate the spooky Pensacola Lighthouse. Tales of a ghost-like woman lurking the halls have been passed down from generation to generation. Brace yourself as TAPS searches for clues to explain creepy transparent figures, invisible fingers tapping guests on the head and light switches turning off and on by themselves. Ghost Hunters Academy SyFy's Highest Rated Reality Premiere
Last night's Ghost Hunters Academy premiere was a huge success with more than two million viewers. The show beat out South Park and Nip/Tuck. The premiere was one of SyFy's highest rated "reality" premieres in nearly two years (the January 2008 premiere of Ghost Hunters International) according to TVByTheNumbers.
New York, NY – November 12, 2009 – Continuing the popularity of Ghost Hunters — the #1 paranormal investigative franchise on television — spin-off Ghost Hunters Academy became Syfy’s most successful reality series premiere in nearly two years during its debut Wednesday, November 11, at 10PM (ET/PT). The series delivered 2.07 million total viewers, 1.2 million Adults 18-49 and 1.3 million Adults 25-54 along with a 1.5 HH rating.
These were the highest viewership marks for a reality series premiere since the January 2008 debut of sibling Ghost Hunters International.
Head-to-head in the 10PM (ET/PT) time period, Ghost Hunters Academy trimmed FX’s Nip/Tuck in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, while besting Comedy Central’s South Park in Adults 25-54.
Coupled with Ghost Hunters at 9PM (ET/PT) – Ghost Hunters Academy catapulted Syfy into the #2 slot among all basic cable networks for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 during 8-11PM prime (ET/PT).

Steve & Dave On Being 'Paranormal Professors'
With the series premiere of Ghost Hunters Academy just a few hours away, a new interview conducted by Aaron Sagers of ParanormalPopCulture.com with 'paranormal professors' Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango gives us more insight into the show. In the interview, Steve and Dave talk about the furusturating aspect of teaching new recruits, the impact that Ghost Hunters has had on the paranormal field, some of the misconceptions about ghost hunting, and much more!
Q: What makes for a good cadet and potential TAPS member?
GONSALVES: The passion – that it’s there, it’s in them and that they love it and want to do it forever. If you join our team, we don’t investigate in the same capacity as any other team on the planet. We’re much more involved with much more equipment. We do multiple investigations a week where most teams do one a month. If your heart’s not completely in it, you’re going to fizzle out after six, seven, eight months.
Q: What’s a common misconception your cadets, and even some viewers, have about paranormal investigative shows?
TANGO: These people come into the show and a lot of them think it’s just like they see on TV. That it’s like 20 minutes in a room, and that’s not the case at all. There’s a lot more to it and I’m glad Steve and I were able to show them that. It can be rough sometimes, but that’s the way it is. It’s not as easy as it looks. Yeah, we’re sitting down and we’re pointing a camera but there’s a lot more to it with the setup and the procedures and protocol of investigating.
GONSALVES: You have to have a lot of knowledge. Not that we all have degrees in it, but you have to have a lot of knowledge in the paranormal: the current theories, the past theories, the energy theories. You have to know all this stuff and they all came in not knowing any of it but boasting as if they did. One person says, “I love it, I love it, it’s my favorite.” She’s so happy that it’s what she’s wanted to do forever, but yet has never read one book, never been to one lecture, never done anything. How can that passion be in you for as long as you can remember but you’ve never bothered to pick up one book?
TANGO: Don’t just say, “I read this on the Internet, I read that on the Internet.” You need to get real books from parapsychologists and true investigators. A lot of these students say, “Well I read this on the Internet so it must be true.” Maybe it is, but we don’t know that.
GONSALVES: We have one girl who says it’s been her lifelong dream to be a parapsychologist. I finally asked her, “How do you plan to do that?” She says she’s going to go to school for it. It made me realize she had no idea what she was talking about. There is no accredited course in the United States for that … These are people who think they know everything but are quickly finding out that they don’t really know anything.
Q: While you have to train the cadets, do you also have to break bad habits picked up from watching TV, and even from watching the main Ghost Hunters show?
GONSALVES: It would be breaking bad habits, but there’s only one or two of them that have any investigation experience coming into it. Those people we definitely had to break bad habits. The other people we had to break bad habits because they did see these things on TV, but it was a little easier because they didn’t have any prior experience. It was frustrating, it really was. There’s this one that just claims to be the queen of the paranormal, but yet… Well, you’ll see on the show. But it was an experience they all loved. Afterwards, they say, “This was amazing.”
TANGO: You do see progress. Whether it’s a little bit or a lot … a lot of it is just common sense stuff. I think, for Steve and I, that was the most frustrating - things that you don’t have to have any knowledge about. That’s the stuff that bothered me the most.
Q: Is it tough being the boss?
GONSALVES: What’s funny is we all become friends. We’re all on the road, we investigate every week and we spend 12 hours a day with these people … so it gets a little tough.
TANGO: They’re all great people, and it does get kind of tough but we have to do what we have to do.

Jason & Grant Talk Ghosts and More
In a new interview posted on the Hartford Courant, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson spoke about everything from plumbing to inhuman entities. They gave some interesting insight into the writing process behind their recently published book, Seeking Spirits and even joked about a failed attempt at a TAPS Saturday morning cartoon.
These problems of dealing with cable networks and live investigations are definitely different than what their T.A.P.S. group experienced in its infancy. In "Seeking Spirits," Hawes and Wilson, along with co-author Michael Jan Friedman, paint a picture of a young investigative group that travel long distances through blizzards to assist clients in need. Along the way, Hawes and Wilson developed theories, tested new equipment and grew into the televised group millions of viewers now know.
But they never became experts in the paranormal field.
"There's really no experts in this field. How can we be," says Hawes, who takes great pains to explain that the word "paranormal" means outside the ordinary, and currently beyond scientific definition. Besides, says Wilson, what they do is not just about interacting with spirits.
"It's not so much about learning about ghosts as much as it's more learning about the human psyche and how to debunk. I mean, ghosts are a big unknown."
Can't wait until tonight for the new episode of Ghost Hunters? Here is a preview that will hopefully keep you happy until tonight!
This week’s episode of Ghost Hunters finds the TAPS team in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado investigating what appears to be the lovely mansion, Briarhurst Manor, where they will be investigating claims of playful ghost children.

Season Finale Episode to Feature NJ Base
In early October, the TAPS team conducted an investigation of the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey. The investigation will air as the final episode of Season 5 in November.
A production crew from the SyFy Channel's television series, "Ghost Hunters," arrived at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in early October to film an episode of the show.
A crew of 17 descended on Lakehurst's Hangar 1 - the Hindenburg crash site - as well as the Branch Medical Clinic. They were out to find any "paranormal" activity taking place on the base.
Series founders and hosts, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson and the team from The Atlantic Paranormal Society, based out of Providence, R.I, .conducted investigations for three nights around the base.
TAPS set up video cameras, sound equipment and heat sensing devices in an effort to substantiate or debunk any rumors about ghosts haunting the cavernous trappings of Hangar 1 and the nooks and crannies in and about the Branch Medical Clinic.

Jason And Grant Give Presentation in St. Louis
Last Tuesday, Jason and Grant gave another presentation on their methods for ghost hunting at the Millennium Student Center in St. Louis. A reporter from The Current Online, a student newsletter, was there Tuesday night during Hawes' and Wilson's talk.
On Tuesday night the popularity of their show was evident. Crazed fans were dismembering books for autographs and the line for entry encircled the top floor of the MSC. It was not clear whether the people packed into the Century Room were there to validate their supernatural beliefs or just to be in the presence of these men. Either way the crowd seemed overly pleased by what they were presented with that night.
Hawes and Wilson took the stage and explained their methodologies of ghost hunting. Their slideshow took the crowd through case studies, photos, videos and audio recordings from their hunts. A portion of the night was plunged into darkness when they showed footage of paranormal activities. Scenes of a dark apparition speeding down a hallway to a possessed gate that continually closed when approached were part of the presentation.
In a question-and-answer session after their presentation, a boy asked whether they had ever come across any “real” paranormal activity. While eliciting a good laugh from the crowd, the answer revealed that these two men were not forcing conclusions onto their viewers.
“I don’t know. All I can do is rule stuff out until I run out of information, then I can show it to people like you and hopefully you guys can figure out what it is or rule it out,” Wilson said.
Earlier in their talk they made it clear that the majority of cases they come across can be explained by natural reasons.
They mentioned a couple of cases where it was comically obvious, such as investigating a homeowner’s claim of paranormal activity. Upon searching the house they found the culprit to be a cookie jar full of marijuana.

More Changes to Ghost Hunters Live
Just as it seemed like plans were finally in order for Ghost Hunters Live, SyFy seems to have been doing some changing around on their website, www.syfy.com/ghlive. A blogger on MassLive.com has been covering the whole progress of events and notes several changes to the website and new Twitter messages from Jason and Grant that tell us more about the show.
Another change up on the Ghost Hunters Live Halloween event. Syfy.com has changed up the website more often than Mariah Carey changes costumes during a concert. First it was "Ask a question for Jay, Grant and Meat Loaf to be answered LIVE on the air on Halloween!" Then it went to "Ask a question for Jay and Grant to be answered LIVE on the air on Halloween!" Now it reads "Ask a question for the Ghost Hunters team to be answered live ..."
Now, the website and the new commercial for the show appear to be pushing more of an online investigation, with the televised event being previously taped interviews with Jason and Grant introducing the top 5 repeats.
It's still very confusing but it does seem that the only live portions will be web based with Josh Gates and the recruits from Ghost Hunters Academy. Indeed, some tweets I saw last night from Jason and Grant confirm that their portions are already taped and that they will be home with the kids for Halloween.
grantswilson: There will be live web cams online and Steve and Tango will be answering questions & panic button hits. There you go.
Jchawes: Here's the deal on Halloween. TAPS is not doing a live show. There will be a GH marathon on with Josh gates. Were not investigating.
grantswilson: Halloween show. Hosted live by J Gates, top 5 GH episodes. Get to meet GHA crew. Jay & I prerecorded lead-ins to the shows...

New Interview With Jason & Grant
Last night Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson did a presentation about their work in the paranormal field at Harper College in Chicago. A reporter from Time Out Chicago was able to condcut a short three minute interview with the two Lead Investigators. During the interview they talked about how they felt regarding the large number of people who attempt to "debunk" Ghost Hunters, competition in the world of televised ghost hunting, a little bit about the new equipment they will be using in the next season, the creepiest thing they've ever seen, and more.
TOC: You guys seem to have a huge fan base and an equally huge group out to debunk you. Does that bother you?
Grant Wilson: Ha ha ha, no. That’s what we want. We want everyone to be a skeptic. We’re skeptics. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be trying to debunk this stuff. We encourage people to ask questions. Actually, at the last place we spoke, a girl who couldn’t have been older than nine stood up at the end of our presentation and asked, “Yeah, but have you seen any real paranormal stuff?” I thought that was great. That’s the best question we’ve gotten so far.
TOC: It seems a ton of shows out now are trying to do the same things you guys do. Do you feel there’s stiffer competition in the televised ghost-hunting field?
Jason Hawes: Not really. They’re not on at the same time, and they’re not doing things in the same way. TAPS [the Atlantic Paranormal Society] has been around since 1990, so we were doing this long before the show. We’re out looking for the truth and if someone else is doing that too, that’s cool.
TOC: What can we expect from the next season?
GW: We just started filming 27 episodes for 2010.
TOC: Where?
GW: We can’t say. We can tell you we’re getting a ton of new equipment. This season we’re going to have 360-degree cameras, full-spectrum video cameras, a hand-held X-ray gun so we can shoot at one point on a wall and see through. We’re pretty excited.
TOC: Favorite place you guys have been?
JH: The Stanley Hotel [in Estes Park, Colorado]. We’ve been there, what, 14 times now and it never disappoints.
TOC: What’s the creepiest thing you’ve ever seen?
JH: Homeowners. Everyone asks us this question and it’s the people who own the homes that are the scariest.
GW: A ghost might move around furniture, but it won’t ever pull a gun on you. People are the ones you should be afraid of.
TOC: Someone actually pulled a gun on you guys?
GW: Yeah, we were checking out this woman’s house and she pulled a shot gun on us. Unfortunately, she also committed suicide six months later. We didn’t put that on the show, but it happened.

Ghost Hunters Academy Site Updated
SyFy has now updated the official webpage for Ghost Hunters Academy with new information about the show, downloads, recruit videos, photos, and more. Visit www.syfy.com/gha to see for yourself!
What does it take to be a top-notch paranormal investigator? Anybody can set up a few cameras and turn out the lights, but only a select few have the right stuff to really get to the bottom of the most puzzling supernatural phenomena.
Ghost Hunters Academy features a group of aspiring ghost hunters exploring some of the most haunted locations in the country and around the world. Led by veteran ghost hunters and TAPS members Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango, the recruits train, hands on, in the paranormal arts.
The new recruits venture outside conventional classroom walls, tackling new paranormal hotspots as well as favorite old haunts from Ghost Hunters, including Fort Mifflin (Pennsylvania), Eastern State Penitentiary (Pennsylvania), and St. Augustine Lighthouse (Florida). If they make the grade, the Academy members may be invited to investigate with the Ghost Hunters or Ghost Hunters International teams. If they don't, they may be sent packing. Who will prove to be the worthiest paranormal investigator? You'll have to watch and see.

Investigation Of Wrestling Venue To Air This Week
An article posted today on PWTorch reports that this week's episode of Ghost Hunters will feature an investigation of The Congress Theater in Chicago, IL which has hosted pro wrestling shows.
The Congress Theater in Chicago, Ill. will be investigated for paranormal activity on this week's episode of Ghost Hunters. The venue has hosted pro wrestling shows, including the Dragon Gate USA show on September 6.
The venue was built in the 1920s and has been designated a Chicago Landmark. DGUSA executive Gabe Sapolsky said he was given a tour of the building during the September show and took note of suspicious Mob activity during the 1930s.
"This is the kind of building I love. Old, character in every nook and that unmistakable vibe. We run around like children exploring the catwalk, basement and examining all the intricacies," he wrote on MySpace. "The highlight is the red dome, glowing with pride like a peacock showing off its feathers, in the center of the ancient ceiling. 'This is where the mob took the owner and cut his throat in the '30s,'" we're told as we enter the basement.
The episode of Ghost Hunters scheduled to feature the Theater will air on Wednesday night on Syfy.

A Few Tidbits About Ghost Hunters Academy
During a live blogging event investigation with Steve, Dave, and Dustin, a little more information was uncovered about the upcoming Ghost Hunters Academy. Just as the investigation was drawing to a close, we heard a little more about the show.
1:31 [Comment From ghfwebmaster]
Can any of the TAPS guys give us any interesting tidbits about Ghost Hunters Academy?
1:52 ParanormalPopCulture: Also, he said that the show is really a learning process where we (the audience) get more of an accurate feel of how an investigation is held.
1:53 ParanormalPopCulture: Also, we should get more of an idea that a case takes longer than an hour to do.
1:53 [Comment From Katie]
How many investigators will there be?
1:53 ParanormalPopCulture: Katie, that I don't know just yet. But I have a feeling that we won't begin and end with the same amount.
1:53 [Comment From ghfwebmsater]
That makes me even more interested! :)
1:54 ParanormalPopCulture: I know GHFWebmaster. It's pretty cool sounding. Dave also tells me that even though he's a coach, he ends up learning a lot from them.
1:54 ParanormalPopCulture: As far as locations, we can expect a new take on some places we've seen before.
1:54 ParanormalPopCulture: I have an interview coming up with Dave in a few days and will reveal more about the show and the inside of the GHA RV.
...
1:55 [Comment From Katie]
Can we expect any guest appearances from Jay or Grant?
1:56 ParanormalPopCulture: Katie, expect to see lots of familiar faces from the family.

New York, NY – October 12, 2009 – The #1 paranormal franchise on television has just gotten bigger. Building upon the enormous success of Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International that has made it the top cable network on Wednesdays at 9PM among Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54, Syfy is launching Ghost Hunters Academy, premiering Wednesday, November 11 @ 10PM (ET/PT).
Kicking off with an investigation at Fort Mifflin, Pennsylvania, Ghost Hunters Academy features a group of aspiring ghost hunters exploring some of the most haunted locations in the country and around the world. Led by veteran ghost hunters Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango, the students train, hands on, in the paranormal arts.
The new recruits venture outside conventional classroom walls tackling new paranormal hotspots as well as favorite old haunts from Ghost Hunters including Fort Mifflin (Pennsylvania), Eastern State Penitentiary (Pennsylvania), and St. Augustine Lighthouse (Florida). Sneak Peek At Fort Henry
TV By The Numbers has posted an article today about shows airing next week on SyFy, among them a new episode of Ghost Hunters, "Fort Henry".
TAPS heads north to explore the most haunted place in Canada. Fort Henry served as a prison and execution site for hundreds of dangerous convicts. Over the years, employees and visitors have witnessed a number of strange, frightening events.
Built in 1812, Fort Henry served as a prisoner-of-war camp for captured Nazis during World War II. Today, the fort is a National Heritage Site and a memorial to Canada’s military history. Historical eyewitness accounts suggest that paranormal entities have long been haunting the fort.
Strange apparitions, mysterious sounds of shattering glass and other ghostly activities have been recorded in this great maze of a military complex. Could the restless spirits of dead prisoners be stirring trouble? TAPS investigates.

Watch A Preview of Glimmer Men
TheDeadBolt.com has an exclusive preview online of new week's Ghost Hunters, Glimmer Men.
TAPS Investigates Mark Twain House
The Hartford Courant posted an article today reporting that TAPS recently spent a week investigating the Mark Twain House and Musuem in Hartford.
Whispered about for years, the stories have accumulated enough to draw TV's popular "Ghost Hunters" to town last month for a full investigation.
A number of unexplained stories have accumulated over the years: Lights that had been turned off suddenly turned on. The sound of children giggling when there were no children on a tour. A tug on the shirt of one guide and no one there when he turned around. Lights that dimmed when a certain child was spoken of. Figures darting at the edge of the eyes, in corners and shadows. A sudden blast of cold in the drawing room. Loud, jarring noises. The smell of cigar smoke up in the pool room, where the fire alarm would inexplicably go off. The sound of footsteps above, in rooms known to be unoccupied. Children darting up the ornate stairs. And most spectacularly, a tray flung toward a guard stationed in the basement.
"This is gorgeous. He lived in style here," "Ghost Hunter" Grant Wilson said when opening the front door to the house last week, cameras capturing the moment.
"This place is incredible," agreed Jason Hawes.
Together, the two began the Atlantic Paranormal Society in their spare time in Westerly, R.I., where they were Roto Rooter men. Since the TV show started following their activities five years ago, they have done less and less plumbing and more investigating spooky sites, hoping to disprove and provide explanations for unexplainable things they are called to look into.
Because the show usually spends two weeks in each place, the ghost hunters spent a week at the Mark Twain House with some after-hours investigations this past week at the Old State House. Both are expected to be part of the "Ghost Hunters" season Wednesday nights on the Syfy Network before the end of the year.
"We can't touch anything," Grant says.
The men are used to crawling around in spiderweb-infested abandoned crawl spaces. The handsomely restored National Historic Landmark is more to their liking. "I'm more interested in the history of the place than paranormal activity," Wilson says.

More Information On Ghost Hunters Live Halloween
According to MassLive.com, TAPS will indeed be doing a Live Halloween Special on October 31, 2009, despite rumors that they would not be doing a live show this Halloween.
Ghost Hunters and the Syfy channel have finally come out with something of an announcement about the annual Halloween special. As you know, Halloween is when the Ghost Hunters 'usually' do their big hours-long live event from a suspected haunted location.
After some controversy over last year's episode which included some (supposedly) suspicious footage of Grant Wilson getting his jacket collar tugged several times, rumor had it that the Ghost Hunters team were begging off doing another live episode this year. Frankly, I find the whole thing extremely odd. If someone is questioning your credibility the last thing you want to do is to cave into the pressure and call the whole thing off. I can understand them being angry at some of the stuff that has been written about them lately, but for a team that supposedly runs INTO the fray while others run out, I'd think the guys would suck it up and dive in, harder, faster and bigger than ever before.
Well, it seems that the TAPS team is indeed doing some version of a live episode for Halloween night. An announcement on the Syfy.com website states:
Now it's your turn to lend TAPS a hand by picking the Ghost Hunters episodes that will appear in Syfy's Viewer's Choice Marathon this Halloween. Pick up to twenty of your favorites below, then tune in Saturday October 31 at 9am/8c to see which ones made the cut. Join the hunt and make this Viewer's Choice Marathon the eeriest of them all.
Send Jason and Grant your questions for a chance to see them answered live on the air this Halloween during the Ghost Hunters Live event, featuring guest hunter Meat Loaf!
It is unsure whether this live show will be similar to previous year's episodes where there was a marathon investigation, or if this year the live show will follow a different format.
