Minor updates, firstly, GB.nuts is now part of the http://www.ecto-web.org/~spookcentral/ (Spook Central) experience.   Paul's recently updated the site and we're listed under the art links, not only that, but we're 'Number 1!' Heh, thanks for the linking man, definately got to return the favour on that front.

I recently got a reminder from FreeWebs that if I didn't do something with the site, it'd be closing soon... at first, I didn't really consider returning, as the site's in position for closure soon, but then I considered I should keep it open until the new one goes online.  So for now, mostly small updates.

Apologies to people who didn't see last month's edition, or any other dates I've missed, this is usually due to personal issues and September's was postponed because of college work.  However, October's strip will be posted, can't miss Halloween.

And finally, I will be going (In costume) to my local cinema to see the opening of the Firefly spinoff, Serenity, I trust you will be seeing it soon.

Well, as always, time passes and things change, and this website is no exception.  For the past several months I have been working on and off on a new web page which will be hosted on a different server, this page has served me well, but it's time to move along to something more custom...

As it is, this web page will not longer be updated, but will probably serve as an archived page.

Happy New Year! Many apologies and season's greetings!   Slightly late, but the Christmas Special of the comic has been posted in the archive, feel free to stop by. 

All rights reserved to the various artists who created the piece used above. Special thanks to 88MPH who posted brilliant copies of the covers online.

Also, mark it in your calenders...or on your date books... or whatever...  that Legion# 4 has a scheduled release date of January 19th, day before my Birthday so if you want to make a web comic operator's day, send a copy my way. 

That's all for now, this month's comic subjects Barnes and Noble to a well deserved bit of revenge.

Unfortunately, Freewebs can only provide so much service, as it stands, Freewebs can only offer seven paragraphs per page, and only seven pages per site.  I did have designs of creating a news archive s that I could store all the old news bulletins in one page should anyone want to read them...but unfortunately I have already filled my quota.  I've been planning for a while to possibly redesign or relocate the site...so I'll be investigating the possibilities over the next few days.  I've actually been considering this ever since I got my first taste of web building on Dreamweaver...and I'm happy with the sie I've built on that.  I will try post some sort of notice when I've made my decision.

Well, on a non-site updated way, I got issue 15 of Ghostbusters.nuts before the first of December, I'm pretty happy with the props and backgrounds...but due to the time I took on the character, I don't think he came out well...but it's not meant to be anyone specific...

...maybe that's a good thing. 

Note: Next issue (If not a Christmas story) will deal with something that's been debated for a while and relates to the Ghostbusters novel from IBooks.

Speaking of Christmas, I'm opening for submissions for a Christmas/New Year's story, but all submissions must be in two weeks (Or at least, a week and a half) before the intended holiday date, so get writing/drawing!

I have been experimenting with a new logo layout, so I should be posting some examples soon.  I've been working on a non-Ghostbusters project with a few friends, it's a comic...but I'm not gonna go into detail now,I'll let you guys stew over it until next time

Nearly a month has passed and where is the next issue?  The backgrounds and props to Issue 15 have been finished, only problem is is that I needed a picture of a person sat in a desk chair waiting...which is a surprising hard image to find, even with Google's Image Search, however, I believe I have got a good enough image and I hope to upload issue 15 by the weekend.

In other news, for those who didn't get their copy of Legion 3 last week, 88 MPH announced on their board that the rest of the orders will be in your local stores on December 1st, so keep watch, and word has it that the final instalment is expected in late December and the Monthly series in Early 2005, and remember, don't take unofficial sources or vocal community members as gospel when it comes to the comic, keep checking http://www.88mphstudios.com .

While on the subject of comics, stop on by to the following topic at GBHQ http://www.ghostbustershq.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=fanfic;action=display;num=1100717134;start=0#0 where submissions are being taken for a new (Serious, in a GB sense that is) monlthy fan produced comic...which is not to replace or take over from 88's comic, but is simply to help gear up fan participation again in light of recent slumps in interest and activity.

I will post soon in relation to Issue 15, and expect some new things to happen to the site within the future.

Happy Halloween! 

Hah!  Bet you weren't expecing this!  Well, I decided 'what the hell!' and decided to chuck one together, so yet unposted "The Waiting is the Hardest Part" and all following issues have been moved up a notch.

Special thanks to Vincent Belmont for his advise on some of the parts of the Halloween Special which can be found in the archive page.

Two small updates today! First, Ghostbusters: Legion #3 has been offically announced as coming out on November 3rd, so mark that in your calenders.  Second update is a gesutbook for comments on the comic series and/or site.

Well, I have a small announcement, I've been inspired and I've been creating a few new comic strips to tide over the next few months for now...yes, I know...months.  I hate not being able to create them on a more regular time frame, but college has restricted a lot of time, though, not all things about college are bad...I'm taking a Comic Art course as my Enrichment, so it should mean the standard of the comics may improve.

Anyway, the new set of comics will be marked by the (light humoured) poke at the problems with the delays with Ghostbusters: Legion 3 and 4 in the upcoming strip "The Waiting is the Hardest Part."

I have also added a Disclaimer Page, I thought I might as well add something to help in case someone gets offended and gets it into their mind that they want to sue.

Please don't sue.

I have also added some guidelines to the Submissions page and have added a link to a future download page.

Yikes, the webmaster actually updates!  Okay, unfortunately I have been really busy with personal life stuff, and as I'm starting college, things won't get better.

However, I hope to upload soon a piece called "The Waiting is the Hardest Part", which (not bad naturedly) parodies some stuff with 88MPH, but I want to make it clear that it's not meant to be a piss take at them to cause them damage or whatever, the publishing problems they've suffered can't be helped.

I plan on maybe doing one strip per month for now, but it depends on how things work out.  I also plan on sorting out the Submissions page.

With Ghostbusters Central down, a lot of people have obviously been displaced by the sudden shut down of the site and forum, my suggestion is to head over to Netsolo's great site, Ghostbusters HQ ( www.ghostbustershq.com )  I also suggest that you bookmark it's news page, as there's generally a well worth reading news article every week, including this week's, which covers Ghostbusters monthly #1's cover art, including a varient cover drawn by one of the Masters of the Universe staff!

Bad news folks, due to some internal operation problems, Ghostbusters Central is currently out of action, that means the comic is also halted indefinately...I will try to get the second comic special posted on April 7th which is the new release date for Part 1 of 88MPH's GHOSTBUSTERS Legion miniseries...anything else may be subject to delay...depending on how things go.  For the moment, all I can suggest is either go to Ghostbusters HQ ( www.ghostbustershq.com ) or K Willer's replacement forum ( http://ghost1.forumer.com/ )  Wish Chad luck, as this problem is most likely gonna take a lot of work to correct.

Or something like that, anyway.  A small update, Issue 11 has now been linked to in the Archive page.  Sorry for the delay, but with small delays in when 88's new GHOSTBUSTERS comic will be coming out, and with trying to find single part strips to put up in the comic special's absense has had things running a little ragged of recent.

I plan to do some more tweaking here and there on the site, as well as maybe some tweaks to the comic's layout.
