HOMEWORK-Students should be involved in reading EVERY NIGHT!  The reading materials can vary for example, library books, books from class, magazines, newspapers, etc.  Someone reading to the child, the child reading to someone or the child reading independently, can accomplish this.
Every Friday there will be assigned homework that is due the following school day. A folder will be provided to transport homework back and forth.  Included will be a comment and signature sheet.  Please sign the form to assure that work has been completed and read any comments I have written. You may write any comments or concerns you might have.  This should be one way of successfully communicating with each other.

Always remember to READ, READ, READ, AND READ SOME MORE!

Children need to understand that they share a responsibility in their education. One way to teach this is by expecting them to complete homework.  Parents can support them by providing a consistent place and time for homework to be done and by being there to help them.
