About Us

We became angry and frustrated trying to find fresh, properly grown food. We started growing our own meats and vegetables.

My father remembers walking the fields in Ireland collecting wild mushrooms and various plants to bring home for supper. From the age of TWO, I was with my father collecting "moymoys' as I called them then, from Canadian fields.

One of my fondest memories as a child, is mom telling us, "The water is boiling, go pick the corn for supper". (Corn starts losing its sweetness as soon as it's picked). We would run out to the garden and get the freshest, sweetest corn EVER!! We were kids that ATE our veggies!!

My father NEVER used chemicals on the garden - he didn't see the reason WHY? We always had excellent, healthy yields; Dad always had a hoe in his hand, while Mom and Grandma shelled peas, along with canning and freezing, and my brother and I got 10 cents a basket to pick berries and vegetables. And don't forget HALLOWEEN. We had SO many pumpkins we could make as many Jack-o-Lanterns as we wanted. Dad often put 'extra' produce in a basket by the road marked "Free", so neighbors and passersby could enjoy fresh home grown produce and there would be NO waste.

My husband was one of nine children. He was taught early that there was no waste. The family lived off the land. They raised all their own livestock both for food and to eke out a living. Lawrence left home at the age of 13 to go to work, but he never forgot his humble beginnings. He was taught to live by a code of "Do unto others...as you would have done to yourself".

Today, we are trying to bring back what we feel is THE BEST - for ourselves, and  others...

All of our produce is delivered clean and individually packaged or bundled. All of our meats are GOVERNMENT Inspected. Our water is CHEMICAL-FREE too!!
