Despite the name of this page, it doesn't tell you about how the Cats were named. Instead, it tells you all about the history of Cats! The Info i have so far is off the Cats video.

Andrew Lloyd Webber based Cats on a book of poems he had loved as a child called: "Old Possum's Book Of Practical Cats" By T.S Eliot. (Which i happen to have a copy of!!)
