The beginning rift of “Knee Deep” blasts over the PA system, the fans jump to their feet. Then the music fades into “The Only” by Static X. From the entrance way comes Koryn and Foxxy Dream. As they move out of the way Eric Corrayo and Joseph Johnson step to the center. The fans scream as loud as they can. The four make their way down to the ring. Joseph and Eric walk up the steps. They hold the ropes open for Koryn and Foxxy. Stormy hands over the microphone to Eric as the music fades out.
Eric Corrayo: Tonight is the dawning of a new era. There are many that walked out of last week’s Insomnia wondering, why these two individual powerhouses had joined forces. Through the week we have tried to answer those questions, but if you haven’t been paying attention, let me spell it out for you. The AWA has been taken over by two forces, The Grave Yard Crew and Kings Templar. These two factions are filled with guys who don’t have the skill we do, but what they lack in skill…they make up for in connections. You’ve all seen it, guys who have no business being in the main event still seem to find themselves there. You’ve got guys like Starsuck, running in and stealing my title, because the boss said it was OK. You’ve got bottom feeders like Taxx getting their asses handed to them every night, but then somehow he gets a World Title shot and eeks out a fluke win. Well, that’s not happening anymore. That’s not happening because we will no longer let it happen.
Eric Corrayo: For months I have been searching, scowering the AWA for someone with the balls. Someone with the backbone who would stand up for what’s right. Last week I found that person, I found that person in Mr. Joseph Johnson. A man who wants to work his way up the right way, but Goth won’t let that happen. So they single him out, they single me out, they are scared of us. And why shouldn’t they be? Crazy J was left bloodied and laying in this very ring at my feet. We are here to say enough is enough. Tonight it begins, tonight we take the Grave Diggas and show them once again for the mediocre jokes they are. Let this be a warning to the rest, you can’t stop us, you can’t stop the cleansing, YOU CAN’T STOP THE GENOCIDE!
O.G. Samson is already in the ring waiting on his opponent. “Halo” by Machinehead begins to play, but there is no one coming out of the entrance ramp. Samson goes to the ropes and begins to laugh, then from the crowd comes Jason Stevens. He rushes the thing and gives a huge forearm smash sending Samson over the top rope and down to the floor. Stevens follows him out of the ring, he picks Samson up and throws him spine first into the guardrail. Stevens jumps onto the apron, he runs and launches himself off the apron drop kicking Samson back into the guardrail.
Tex: What has gotten into Jason Stevens tonight?
Duff: He wants to make an example out of this new guy, and so far he’s doing a good job.
Stevens grabs Samson by the head and rams him into the ring post. Then he backs Samson up further and sends him crashing skull first into the post a second time, busting Samson wide open. Stevens laughs as he sees the blood flowing down Samson’s face. Stevens irish whips Samson into the steel ring steps. Samson hits the steps, flips over them, with the back of his head coming down on the corner of the steps. The referee screams at Stevens to bring it inside the ring. Stevens picks Samson up, Samson is out on his feet. Stevens rolls Samson into the ring, leaving his head under the ropes, past the apron. Stevens jumps onto the apron and looks like he is sizing up Samson, but he looks out to the crowd and shakes his head no. He backs up and jumps onto the top turnbuckle. The fans get on their feet as Stevens looks around, he jumps and delivers a huge guiatine leg drop. The impact is huge, Samson’s body almost goes in three different directions.
Tex: OH MY GOD! What a vicious maneuver, I think he just broke O.G. Samson’s neck
Duff: Welcome to the AWA.
The referee checks O.G. Samson, he gets no response, the referee calls for the bell. He yells for medics to come down. Stevens throws the referee out of the ring and drags Samson to the center of the ring. He brings Samson to his feet, Samson can’t stand on his own. Stevens has him set for the Sensationalized. Several referees plus medics have come down and plead with him to not do it. Stevens laughs and picks the guy up, slamming him down onto his knee. Samson’s body folds in half. The referees and medics rush into the ring to separate the two men. A stretcher is brought out for O.G. Samson. Stevens leaves the ring laughing.
Stormy Canyon: Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has decided the O.G. Samson can no longer defend himself so the match has been stopped. And your winner is……JASON STEVENS!
We tune in with Page Harris who has Bulldog Bill Barnhart at her interview table off to the side of the ring.
PAGE HARRIS: Two quick questions for you Bill. Do you feel upset that your match with The Classic Grave Diggas ended in a loss due to Disqualification and how do you feel facing Aiden Payne and Chris Shipman tonight?
BULLDOG BILL: I see you are asking really easy questions tonight Page. If you go back and watch that Tag Team match last week you will notice that it should have been Taxx and Nailz to be Disqualified since they continually attacked Goth who was the Referee in that match. Goth was simply trying to maintain order but how do you do that when Taxx and Nailz kept attacking him the way they did. And then when Goth retaliated and all hell broke loose in the ring me and Phil Einar ended up the ones to be Disqualified. It just goes to show that Taxx and Nailz were so scared that they had no choice but to attack Referee Goth and force a Disqualification...
PAGE HARRIS: Bill, it didn't end up in a Disqualification, you got knocked out in a submission hold.
BULLDOG BILL: Oh, yeah, well, at the time I thought it was a Disqualification. We all make mistakes you know. And about Aiden Payne and Chris Shipman? We will make short work of them and then I want to challenge The Classic Grave Diggas, Taxx and Nailz, for a Tag Team Title Match so that me and Starseed can show them who really is the greatest Tag Team around.
PAGE HARRIS: Thanks for answering those questions Bill. Now back to you Tex and Duff!
Page looks at Bill as he walks out as the camera shot turns back to the arena
The entire arena goes dark. There is a faint light coming from the Globatron, however the only thing on screen is a haze of red and gold smoke. Lightning hits the Globatron and all four ringposts as "Ironman" By Black Sababth plays. John Irons is seen walking out to the rampway entrance, wearing a black leather jacket, a white tank top, and his Oakleys with his usual blue jeans and boots. Chloe Irons walks out behind him wearing a Semi-long red and black fiery dress. They both stand there for a moment as there is a loud explosion behind them. Gold sparks begin to rain down the entry way as John and Chloe Irons begins their decent to the ring. As John gets to the ring he hops up and over the top rope with ease and makes his way to a turnbuckle where he raises a fist into the air. He stays in the position for a moment before he takes off his jacket and Oakleys and looks to his wife, nodding his head. He then looks towards the Globatron, awaiting for the arrival of his opponent, with a fierce intensity in his eyes.
Stormy Canyon: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Detroit Michigan, John Henry Irons!
The lights flicker and go off. The opening notes of Sounds of Madness make there way across the stadium. As soon as the words start, an explosion is set off on the stage and Erik walks out from behind the curtain with a smile across his face. He taunts to the crowd before simply darting toward the ring. He slides under the bottom rope, never losing a touch of speed, and jumps on top of the furthest turnbuckle. He raises his arms, and is hit in the back my Irons. The bell rings as Irons brings Black down into the corner. He delivers a few hard hits to Black’s chest. Irons whips Black across the ring into the opposite corner. Irons runs for a shoulder thrust in the corner. Black rolls out of the ring and Irons rams his shoulder into the ring post.
Duff: Irons is trying to start this match quickly, but it looks like it might have back fired.
Tex: He’s trying to keep up the momentum from his victory over Jason Stevens last week.
Irons stumbles back, Black jumps to the apron. Black springboards off the top rope and hits a big leg lariat. Black gets back to his feet, he bounces off the rope and delivers a snap leg drop onto Irons. Black grabs Irons’ head, he brings Irons to his knees. Irons pushes Black away, he staggers to his feet and sends Black flipping in the air with a huge clothesline. Irons quickly brings Black back to his feet, shoots him into the ropes and sends him into the mat with a huge spinebuster.
Tex: That was a spine tingling spinebuster right there.
Duff: I’ll be surprised if Erik Black can walk tomorrow. There is no countering the pure power of John Henry Irons.
Irons throws Black into the corner, he hits a few elbows. Then he chops Black in the chest. Irons looks around and laughs. He goes for another chop, Black rakes Irons in the eyes. Irons stumbles back, Black gets a clean shot in. He hits Irons with another, right, left, right, left. Black tries to irish whip Irons, but Irons puts the breaks one. Black tries again and again Irons out powers him. Irons reverses it and sends Black into the ropes. Black bounces back, Irons picks him up for another spinebuster, but Black grabs Irons’ head and uses the momentum to turn it into a tornado DDT spiking Irons in the middle of the ring. Both men are down, Black tries to get to his feet holding his lower back in pain. He looks at Irons on his back, still stunned. Black calls to the crowd for it to be over. He stumbles to the corner and makes his way up to the top turnbuckle. He is still holding his back when he leaps off the top rope and delivers a picture perfect Downfall. The move hurts Black as well, but he crawls on top of Irons. The referee counts 1…2…3. The bell rings
Stormy Canyon: Here is your winner: ERIK BLACK!!!!!
After the match Erik rolls out of the ring and gets a microphone. Irons is laying on the mat, with his hands over his face in defeat. Black hops up into the ring and begins to speak to the man he just beat.
Black: I can't really say this, but I told you so, I told you so, I TOLD YOU SO!
The crowd begins to jeer at Black. Erik waits a moment for them to die down, then tells them to shut up.
Black: Now if it wouldn't be too much trouble, Johnny Boy......where's my one point two billion?
Duff: One Point Two Bill...Did he just say Billion? As in Dollars?!
Tex: No, he means six Billion Yen, YES he means Billion Dollars you dolt!
Duff: Hey be quiet over there, I'm trying to drink my beer and watch this!
Black: So come on Irons.....you were the one to make me agree to put my money where my mouth is, I won, so let's get this over with in front of all these sheep!
The crowd begins to boo and jeer, but Black pays them no attention.
John gets up slowly, and slides out of the ring. He mouths something to Black, and grudgingly gets two suitcases. He then takes his time sliding into the ring and hands the first one to Erik. Black takes it and turns his back slightly to open it. When he's satisfied he sets it down and turns to take the other. Irons slowly gives it to him, and Erik takes it with his left hand, and John reaches to shake Black's hand on the right. Black stands there for a moment, not sure what to think. After a moment he takes John's hand and shakes it firmly as the crowd cheers. Erik lets go and takes both suitcases out of the ring as Stormy announces the next match.
Stormy Canyon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the AWA World Heavyweight Tag Team Championship!! At this moment I would like to introduce to you the challengers, they are the tag team of Aiden Payne and Chris Shipman!!!
The arena goes dark again and green lights start flashing at the entrance stage. “The Only” by Static X blasts on throughout the arena as the intensity of the flashing lights elevates. Joseph Johnson finally walks out onto the stage, with his girlfriend Koryn and the monster known as Shawn Payne not far behind him, as lights of black and green flash around him. Joseph is wearing green pants, with white and black sneakers, a tight black sleeveless shirt over a tight white sleeveless shirt along with a white hat and sun glasses. Koryn has on tight blue jeans with a huge gold belt made out of leather, a black sleeveless shirt and a glittering gold mini shirt over it. She has her hair down over her chest in an attempt to cover her large breasts. They pause on the stage and the lights stop flashing . A green neon light shines down over Johnson, while a waterfall of pyro forms in a line across the stage directly behind the two of them. Johnson does his typical taunt for the crowd and green pyrotechnics then explode from the stage down the ramp and to ring. Johnson and Koryn walk down the ramp to the steel steps and then he climbs into the ring and holds the middle rope down for Koryn. Johnson goes to the far corner and poses on the second rope. He gets down and goes over to the opposite corner to pose for that side as well. He hops off the turnbuckle and walks over towards the other side of the ring where he is handed a microphone. He walks to the middle of the ring and slowly brings the microphone to his mouth.
Joseph Johnson: You know. The past week has been really interesting to me. First, Genocide saves the Grave Diggaz from getting their asses kicked by people who apparently hit like grand-mamas. Odd, considering G-Diggaz had to be checked out for their injuries and then looked sore all week. Next, Goth decides he's had enough of me running his mouth and books me in one of the most barbaric matches I've ever heard of and he books me against him of all people. Now, I've never been involved in a King of Kings Match, but I've been in Hell in a Cell, I've been in barbed-wire, I've been in Ladder matches. I'm 4-0 in ladder matches and I would be 6-0, but a few organizations couldn't keep their doors open as long as the AWA. But wait,, there's more. After having already booked Joseph Johnson vs. Goth, Goth decides to put Genocide against G-Diggaz in a Hardcore Tornado Tag match tonight.
The crowd cheers to life as the anticipation for this tag team match continues to build.
Joseph Johnson: Now the G-Diggaz, Taxx and Nailz, have been saying a lot of shit this week, a lot of wrong shit at that. Some of the stuff has been so off that it's made our President look like a word shark. To the point where I've had to start calling some of their ridiculous comments Taxxisms. I mean, first they say I said they only have two wins while I was actually saying I've only had two AWA matches. Then they say I called them hillbillies, when I actually called them card sharks. Next, they wish me a good week since my weekend is going to be hell. Ok, thank you, but Insomnia is on Mondays not on the weekend. But I can live with all of that, when you're that ugly I don't expect you to get everything right. By the way, my name's Joseph Johnson, Eric Johnson is my brother from another mother, same father. Thanks for asking.
The crowd starts chanting "Johnson" as Joseph Johnson continues.
Joseph Johnson: These guys also said that Eric Corrayo and myself were nothing but whiners, who weren't even good and were annoying the shit out of him. I can understand that. When you encounter someone who is just so vastly superior in every phase of the game, whether it be hardcore, technical, speed, submission, power, or charismatic ability on the microphone, it's just natural that you would get annoyed. And G-Diggaz, I understand why you have such short promos, it's because you already know your beat and hell, you wouldn't have much to say anyway. Let's look at me, when I cut a promo I actually respond to my opponent, you guys just chuck out the & quote; shut up your annoying and you suck & quote; card over and over again. In fact, listening to your all of your promos, I'm not even sure I could put them in order or separate them from the others. Honestly, how did AWA get a World Champion with such little charisma? Whether you want to admit it or not G-Diggaz, half of a wrestling match is done on the microphone. Once you get inside that opponents head and have him doubting himself and running scared, the match is already over. And judging by your 30 second radio interview, I'd say we've gotten in your head. And by the way, Nailz, since you turned off my "TV spot" so early, let me fill you in on what you missed. You missed me point out at least ten items of flawed information that you or your brother have slung out there this week, you missed me insult you in every which way, you missed me show you just where your careers are going to end tonight, and you missed that man on the outside of the ring, Shawn Payne. And you missed out on your warning, because once Genocide is done with you, my acquaintance Shawn Payne is taking you to the brink of death, to a place not of death, but of punishment. This is your last warning, in the next ten minutes we're going to find out if Genocide is all talk and no action, or if the Grave Diggaz are no talk AND no action.
Shawn Payne stands outside of the ring, not moving an inch as he looks into the ring at Joseph Johnson. Johnson takes off both of his shirts and throws them into the crowd along with his hat. He hands his sun glasses to Koryn and she exits the ring. Johnson starts pacing around the ring and hopping around, warming up for his Hardcore Tornado Tag Team Match with Eric Corrayo against Taxx and Nailz.
Stormy Canyon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is our MAIN EVENT MATCH!!
