FIRST THINGS FIRST

DUST ON THE TABLES CAT HAIRS ON THE FLOOR.
THE DISHES WERE WASHED
BUT NOW THERE ARE MORE!
THE DIRTY CLOTHES PILE
SEEMS TO BE A MILE HIGH.
WHERE TO BEGIN? - I THINK WITH A SIGH.

(I FLUFF UP A PILLOW AND PICK UP A SHOE.)
BUT MY CATS NEED ATTENTION -
AS ALL "CHILDREN" DO.

TEDDY STARES - "SIT - I COULD SURE USE A LAP."
EMMA YAWNS - "LIE DOWN -
IT'S TIME FOR OUR NAP."
SCOOTER PURRS - "LET'S PLAY!"
AND DROPS HIS TOY MOUSE.

I LOOK IN THEIR EYES
AND I GLANCE THROUGH THE HOUSE.
MY DECISION IS EASY I DON'T HESITATE.
THE VACUUMING, DUSTING AND LAUNDRY
CAN WAIT!!
