A little about me:
Hi My name is Amanda. I've always enjoyed being around animals, especially rats. And I have always helped my mom with rescue work with dogs. And it always put a smile on my face to see the abused,neglected animals turn into loved family pets. I have always heard about the neglected and mistreated rats. And decided I wanted to help out! After owning pet rats myself for a few years, I knew basic care,handling and feeding information. I figured I had to know alot more before beginging rescue work with troubled rats. So I started researching. And learned alot more about behavior,feeding,handling etc. I then took in my first rescues. I decided to keep the first ones I rescued, They were 3 elderly females in a very tiny cage and the two females of the trio have sadly already had atleast two litters. Since then I have rescued and found wonderful loving homes for quite a few ratties. And each time it makes me smile!
