Jax is reunited with Brenda, who explains her absence and warns Jax that his life is in danger. Jax insists that Brenda promise to meet him at her cottage the next day. Jax makes love to Skye, but can't shake thoughts of Brenda.
Alcazar's henchman kidnaps Monica and orders her to save Alcazar's life. Sonny returns to the penthouse. Sonny and Carly argue over her increased involvement in his business after she accepts Tagliati's invitation to attend another meeting but their anger turns to passion.
With AJ out of town, Courtney calls Jason after receiving another disturbing phone call. Courtney accepts Jason's offer to spend the night on her couch. Alexis decides to run against Scott in the race for District Attorney.

Skye is surprised to wake up alone. A guilt-ridden Jax returns and tells Skye they can't leave for their honeymoon because he needs to end Alcazar's vendetta against him. Skye promises to stand by Jax. Monica realizes Alcazar wants to kill Jason. As the operation begins, Monica contemplates killing Alcazar.
Elizabeth questions Jason after learning he spent the night at Courtney's. Elizabeth tells Jason that she can't live in his world of secrets any longer. Lucky warns Bobbie not to trust Scott. Edward supports Alexis in the race against Scott and urges her to marry Ned.

Brenda and Jax almost share a kiss when old feelings resurface. After speaking with Jason, Skye catches Jax in a lie about his recent whereabouts.
Sonny gives Carly a microphone hidden in an earring to guide her through the meeting with his rivals. Carly ignores Sonny's warning and refuses to bring drugs into Port Charles as the microphone falls into view. Scott and the police bust the meeting, saving Carly's life in the process.
Scott gets the best of Alexis during a press conference. Alexis and Ned refuse to think of marriage until they see how badly Alexis came off during the press conference.
Monica convinces Alcazar to let her go to the hospital, where she kisses Alcazar's henchman in front of Alan. As Alan makes a scene, Monica makes her escape.

Jax dodges Skye's questions. Jason leaves Brenda alone at the cottage in order to rescue Monica. Jax arrives at the cottage to take Brenda away, but they're stopped by Alcazar, who has no intention of leaving without Brenda.
Without warning, Alcazar shoots Jax. Brenda throws herself on Jax, daring Alcazar to shoot her, too. Sonny arrives at the cottage and shoots Alcazar. Brenda and Sonny come face to face.
Skye refuses to be baited by Edward when he attempts to cast doubt on Jax's love for her. Scott doesn't have Carly arrested. Scott threatens to bring charges against Carly unless she makes a deal with him.

Sonny is hit when Brenda professes her love to a critically wounded Jax, who is taken to the hospital. Brenda blames Sonny for Jax being shot. Skye arrives at the hospital and learns Jax was with a woman when he was shot. At the police station, Brenda refuses to implicate Sonny in any wrongdoing and states he saved her and Jax's lives.

Sonny pronounces Scott's claim to be a lie. Scott then produces Carly's signed affidavit stating the truth. Sonny turns to face Carly.
Skye fears Jax might try to end his life. Jax continues to push Skye away. Skye reads a love letter Brenda wrote to Jax. Covering her devastation, Skye tells Brenda she won't stand in the way of her seeing Jax. Jax tells Brenda that he needs her.
Liz is surprised to find Jason at Courtney's. Courtney is horrified to find a shrine to Daisy when she and Jason locate the stalker's whereabouts. Jason heads after the stalker, who hides in Courtney's closet as she waits home alone

Carly gives the performance of a lifetime to paint Scott as a manipulative liar. Bobbie joins forces with Carly and they succeed in publicly discrediting Scott. Sonny accepts Carly's explanation of how Scott forced her into signing the affidavit. Carly tells Sonny he is the father of Alexis' baby. Edward suspects that Alexis is carrying Sonny's baby. Bobbie breaks up with Scott.
Jax asks Brenda to help him drive Skye away in order to give her the life she deserves. Brenda reluctantly agrees and tells Skye that she and Jax have reunited. Jax tries to convince Skye that his love for Brenda is genuine. Skye vows to fight for Jax.

In front of Skye, Brenda forces herself to pull back before kissing Jax. Brenda is furious at Jax over what he is doing to Skye. Courtney tries to convince Elizabeth that she and Jason are just friends. Elizabeth tells Lucky she can't allow herself to get hurt by Jason. Courtney urges Jason to go to Elizabeth but he refuses believing she is better off without him. AJ returns home to find Jason with Courtney. Lucky receives a copy of Luke's will in the mail.

A calculating Skye wants Brenda to stay in town to help speed along Jax's recovery and then convince Jax she doesn't love him in order to set him free. Brenda decides to go along with Skye's plan. Jax reads a love letter from Skye and later leaves her a heartfelt message. A manipulative Skye is pleased with herself.
After Edward pays Sonny a visit, Carly fears Sonny would be willing to trade Michael for Alexis' baby. Sonny's love for Michael is evident and he promises Carly that he is only using Edward. After a medical scare, Alexis realizes that she has to slow down.
AJ remains uncharacteristically calm when he finds Jason protecting Courtney. AJ threatens the stalker when he places another call to Courtney. Courtney is impressed by AJ. Lucky fears Luke has lost the desire to live and decides to search for his father.

Ned and Alexis are shocked by Sonny and Edward's secret DNA tests. After getting an earful from Lila, Carly arrives at Alexis' hospital room. Everyone is stunned when the results name Ned as the father of Alexis' baby.
Alone, Ned admits to a grateful Alexis that he arranged to have the test results altered. Alexis is relieved that Sonny will not be a part of her child's life. Alexis makes it clear to Edward that her daughter will not be raised as a Quartermaine. Carly confronts Alexis and accuses her of being in love with Sonny.

Skye goes digging for answers about Brenda at the Swiss clinic. With the help of a sympathetic nurse, Skye learns that Brenda isn't dying.
Lucky and Elizabeth's search for Luke takes them to a biker bar in Atlantic City where Luke had his will executed. After a tense moment, Lucky sends Elizabeth back to the hotel as he plans to question a biker. Lucky is in a dangerous situation as a leather clad Elizabeth returns and confronts the biker.

Scott grandstands to the press, confident his convicting Alcazar will assure his victory in the election. Alcazar is livid over the news of Brenda's marriage and warns both her and Jason that his fate has yet to be sealed. Jax stuns the courtroom when he walks on his own.
Monica, Felicia, Alexis and Brenda deliver damning testimony against Alcazar. After receiving a document from a mysterious source, Scott is forced to drop the charges against Alcazar, who is set free. Scott tries to do damage control and explains a government official ordered that the charges against Alcazar be dropped. In front of the press, Scott is confronted by an angry Alexis, who vows to get answers. Alcazar receives a death threat.
Lucky and Elizabeth track Luke to a prison work camp. Luke is told that Laura has arrived for a conjugal visit and is furious to find Elizabeth waiting for him. Luke refuses to let Elizabeth and Lucky help him. Lucky poses as a prisoner in order to make his way to Luke's side. Luke flatly tells Lucky to leave him alone. Lucky won't give up on Luke.

At the Halloween party at Club 101, Felicia warns Alcazar to stay away from her family. Skye forms a reluctant alliance with Alcazar, who convinces her not to spill the truth about Brenda's non-illness. Skye and AJ agree that sometimes you have to fight dirty to keep the ones you love. Skye and Jax later make love.
Sonny sees a costumed Alcazar at the party. Alcazar escapes being caught by Sonny. Alone at Jason's penthouse, Brenda is shocked when she opens the door and comes face to face with Alcazar.

Carly allows Brenda time alone with Sonny. Brenda promises Sonny she would never betray him. Alone, Carly warns Brenda not to try and steal Sonny away from her. Brenda gives as good as she gets and shocks Carly with news of Jax's paralysis. Carly watches as Brenda collapses in Sonny's arms when she leaves the penthouse.

Sonny assures Carly that Brenda doesn't pose a threat to their marriage and explains he feels obligated to make Brenda's remaining time as easy as possible. Carly supports Sonny's idea to give Brenda money in the hope she will leave town.
Brenda refuses to allow Jax to shut her out. Jax doesn't want to be a burden to Skye and stuns her with the news that he wants a divorce.
Lucky calls Scott's bluff when Scott threatens to have him and Nikolas arrested. Carly forces Scott to return the affidavit she signed about Sonny and Alexis. Courtney calls Jason after finding the hidden cameras in her apartment. Courtney accepts Jason's offer to stay with her until the stalker is caught.

Brenda questions Sonny's motives for wanting her to leave town and makes it clear she isn't going anywhere. A privately pained Jax insists to Skye that their marriage is over. Brenda realizes what Jax is doing and draws on her own past mistakes to urge Jax to let Skye be a part of his life. Jax shuts down when Skye returns to his side.
Sonny and Carly reaffirm their love. Courtney receives another disturbing call. AJ phones Courtney, who doesn't mention that Jason is staying with her. Jason and Courtney resist the sparks between them. Georgie covers for Lucas and Maxie, allowing them to sneak off to a party at Vista Point.

Lucky and Nikolas discover Scott's damning information about Alexis but fail to reach Alexis before the debate begins. As the debate begins, Scott accuses Alexis of having slept with Sonny. Sonny pronounces Scott's claim to be a lie. Scott then produces Carly's signed affidavit stating the truth. Sonny turns to face Carly.
Skye fears Jax might try to end his life. Jax continues to push Skye away. Skye reads a love letter Brenda wrote to Jax. Covering her devastation, Skye tells Brenda she won't stand in the way of her seeing Jax. Jax tells Brenda that he needs her.
Liz is surprised to find Jason at Courtney's. Courtney is horrified to find a shrine to Daisy when she and Jason locate the stalker's whereabouts. Jason heads after the stalker, who hides in Courtney's closet as she waits home alone

Carly gives the performance of a lifetime to paint Scott as a manipulative liar. Bobbie joins forces with Carly and they succeed in publicly discrediting Scott. Sonny accepts Carly's explanation of how Scott forced her into signing the affidavit. Carly tells Sonny he is the father of Alexis' baby. Edward suspects that Alexis is carrying Sonny's baby. Bobbie breaks up with Scott.
Jax asks Brenda to help him drive Skye away in order to give her the life she deserves. Brenda reluctantly agrees and tells Skye that she and Jax have reunited. Jax tries to convince Skye that his love for Brenda is genuine. Skye vows to fight for Jax.
Jason's return prevents the stalker from revealing himself to Courtney. Lucky realizes Luke's visit to Laura only worsened her already fragile condition. Elizabeth comforts Lucky. Courtney and Jason encounter Elizabeth and Lucky. Thanks to Brenda's testimony, Taggert arrests Alcazar.

Sonny rages at Carly for not telling him that he is the father of Alexis' baby. Alexis makes it perfectly clear that she is no friend of Sonny's. Sonny gives Alexis a veiled threat about his unborn child. Ned tells Alexis about Edward's suspicions. Alexis suffers abdominal pains.
In front of Skye, Brenda forces herself to pull back before kissing Jax. Brenda is furious at Jax over what he is doing to Skye. Brenda is also privately pained by the emotional toll Jax's ruse is taking on her. Jax moves his foot during his and Brenda's argument. Skye follows Brenda, who admits she still loves Jax. Skye asks Brenda not to stop seeing Jax.
Courtney tries to convince Elizabeth that she and Jason are just friends. Elizabeth tells Lucky she can't allow herself to get hurt by Jason. Courtney urges Jason to go to Elizabeth but he refuses believing she is better off without him. AJ returns home to find Jason with Courtney. Lucky receives a copy of Luke's will in the mail.

A calculating Skye wants Brenda to stay in town to help speed along Jax's recovery and then convince Jax she doesn't love him in order to set him free. Brenda decides to go along with Skye's plan. Jax reads a love letter from Skye and later leaves her a heartfelt message. A manipulative Skye is pleased with herself.
After Edward pays Sonny a visit, Carly fears Sonny would be willing to trade Michael for Alexis' baby. Sonny's love for Michael is evident and he promises Carly that he is only using Edward. After a medical scare, Alexis realizes that she has to slow down.
AJ remains uncharacteristically calm when he finds Jason protecting Courtney. AJ threatens the stalker when he places another call to Courtney. Courtney is impressed by AJ. Lucky fears Luke has lost the desire to live and decides to search for his father.

Brenda slaps Sonny when he pushes her buttons over her feelings for Jax. Sonny tells Jax that he saved his life for Brenda, not him. A manipulative Skye uses guilt to get Brenda to play by her rules. Skye questions Alcazar about Brenda's condition. Brenda and Jax find themselves on the verge of a kiss.
Sonny and Edward await the results of the DNA tests they secretly had conducted to determine the paternity of Alexis' baby. Alexis is determined to make the rest of her pregnancy stress free.
Elizabeth offers to accompany Lucky in his search for Luke. Lucky and Elizabeth rekindle their close friendship. Bobbie questions Lucas about the change in his behavior after learning he and Maxie went to a party at Vista Point. Georgie is smitten with Lucas.

Ned and Alexis are shocked by Sonny and Edward's secret DNA tests. After getting an earful from Lila, Carly arrives at Alexis' hospital room. Everyone is stunned when the results name Ned as the father of Alexis' baby.
Alone, Ned admits to a grateful Alexis that he arranged to have the test results altered. Alexis is relieved that Sonny will not be a part of her child's life. Alexis makes it clear to Edward that her daughter will not be raised as a Quartermaine. Carly confronts Alexis and accuses her of being in love with Sonny.
Brenda allows herself to passionately kiss Jax. Jax doesn't want to cause Brenda any heartache. Brenda insists she wants to help Jax so that she can die with a clear conscience. Skye steals some of Brenda's medication and later learns they are merely mild tranquilizers. A curious Skye plans to visit the clinic in Switzerland where Brenda was diagnosed with her disease.
The stalker warns AJ that he won't be able to protect Courtney. AJ and Courtney get little help from Taggert. Jason checks on Courtney at Kelly's as she receives another call and realizes the stalker is back in her apartment. Jason races to the apartment and is knocked unconscious. Courtney hides in a closet as AJ arrives and attacks the stalker.

Jax refuses to let Brenda die alone. Brenda voices her love to a sleeping Jax but forces herself to remain strong.
Ned and Sonny break up Carly and Alexis' argument. Sonny coldly severs all ties with Alexis. Sonny shuts Carly out and later resists Brenda's advances when he realizes her true motive. After seeing Brenda throw herself at Sonny, Carly tells Jason she fears Sonny will leave her for Brenda.
Sonny is an emotional wreck after his encounters with Alexis and Brenda. Sonny and Carly realize they are right for each other. Jason challenges Brenda to leave town and let Sonny be happy with Carly.
The stalker escapes after fighting with AJ. As AJ goes to give a statement to the police, Courtney stays with Jason. Jason confronts Coleman and accuses him of stalking Courtney. Courtney stops Jason from physically harming Coleman. Courtney kisses Jason and then runs home to AJ. Skye heads to Switzerland, determined not to lose Jax to Brenda.

Courtney arrives at Sonny's looking for Jason. Courtney denies Carly's observation that she is falling for Jason. Sonny isn't pleased by the thought of Courtney getting involved with Jason. Sonny and Carly come to believe that Jason took Brenda away per Sonny's original plan.
Ned overhears Nikolas telling Alexis that she has no chance of winning the election unless she gets married. Jax supports the idea of Alexis marrying Ned and points out that Alexis truly does love Ned. Alexis questions Jax about his feelings for Brenda. Alexis asks Ned to marry her. Ned asks Alexis if she loves him.
AJ unintentionally scares Courtney with a Halloween mask. AJ and Courtney make plans to go to the Halloween party at Kelly's. Coleman obsesses over Courtney.
Skye goes digging for answers about Brenda at the Swiss clinic. With the help of a sympathetic nurse, Skye learns that Brenda isn't dying.
Lucky and Elizabeth's search for Luke takes them to a biker bar in Atlantic City where Luke had his will executed. After a tense moment, Lucky sends Elizabeth back to the hotel as he plans to question a biker. Lucky is in a dangerous situation as a leather clad Elizabeth returns and confronts the biker.

Courtney confesses to Bobbie that she kissed a man she finds herself attracted to. Bobbie realizes Courtney kissed Jason. Jason shocks Courtney with news of his marriage to Brenda.
After talking their way out of potential danger, Elizabeth and Lucky get a lead on Luke's whereabouts. Ned turns down Alexis' proposal when she can't admit that she loves him. Ned is given food for thought when Gia puts a new spin on Alexis' proposal. Alexis realizes she really does love Ned.

Brenda paints a romantic picture of her and Jason's elopement to the Quartermaines. Brenda privately remembers the truth of manipulating Jason into marrying her and their subsequent nightmare wedding in Las Vegas. Courtney tries to cover her hurt over Jason's sudden marriage and questions if he is in love with Brenda. Jason tells Courtney that Brenda is dying. Sonny and Jax argue about Brenda.
Bobbie warns Carly that Brenda's marriage to Jason doesn't necessarily mean Brenda won't make a play for Sonny. Bobbie urges Carly to trust Sonny. Carly is anxious to become pregnant and schedules an appointment for a fertility treatment. Carly later seduces Sonny.
Jax is happy to have Skye back by his side. Skye looks forward to telling Jax that Brenda isn't dying but keeps the news to herself after Jax informs her of Brenda's elopement. Alexis admits to Gia that she loves Ned but fears Ned will never believe her feelings are genuine. Gia tells Ned that Alexis is in love with him.

Brenda is hurt by Jax and Skye's closeness. Skye tells Brenda that she will be taking care of her husband from now on.
Ned reaches out to Alexis on the day of Alcazar's grand jury hearing. Ned and Alexis look forward to seeing Alcazar brought to justice for Kristina's murder. Scott grandstands to the press, confident his convicting Alcazar will assure his victory in the election. Alcazar is livid over the news of Brenda's marriage and warns both her and Jason that his fate has yet to be sealed. Jax stuns the courtroom when he walks on his own.
Monica, Felicia, Alexis and Brenda deliver damning testimony against Alcazar. After receiving a document from a mysterious source, Scott is forced to drop the charges against Alcazar, who is set free. Scott tries to do damage control and explains a government official ordered that the charges against Alcazar be dropped. In front of the press, Scott is confronted by an angry Alexis, who vows to get answers. Alcazar receives a death threat.
Lucky and Elizabeth track Luke to a prison work camp. Luke is told that Laura has arrived for a conjugal visit and is furious to find Elizabeth waiting for him. Luke refuses to let Elizabeth and Lucky help him. Lucky poses as a prisoner in order to make his way to Luke's side. Luke flatly tells Lucky to leave him alone. Lucky won't give up on Luke.

At the Halloween party at Club 101, Felicia warns Alcazar to stay away from her family. Skye forms a reluctant alliance with Alcazar, who convinces her not to spill the truth about Brenda's non-illness. Skye and AJ agree that sometimes you have to fight dirty to keep the ones you love. Skye and Jax later make love.
Sonny sees a costumed Alcazar at the party. Alcazar escapes being caught by Sonny. Alone at Jason's penthouse, Brenda is shocked when she opens the door and comes face to face with Alcazar.
Courtney flees from the party alone after receiving an ominous threat from an unseen man. Courtney returns home and is attacked by the masked stalker. Courtney manages to find the gun Jason gave her and shoots the masked stalker. Courtney discovers she shot Coleman and calls Jason for help but later fears she shot the wrong man when the stalker calls again.
Luke has no choice but to go along with Lucky and Elizabeth's plan to make a run from the prison chain gang. Luke tries to make Lucky realize that he has no desire to return to his family. Lucky, Luke and Elizabeth are quickly captured. Luke, who's true identity has been discovered by the authorities, learns he is being sent back to Port Charles.
Lucas helps himself to champagne at the party. Maxie and Georgie cover for a drunken Lucas in front of Bobbie and Felicia. Maxie is angered over Lucas' behavior.

Sonny realizes Alcazar duped him in order to get to Brenda. Alcazar tries to play on Brenda's fears to convince her to go away with him. Brenda begins to weaken as Sonny suddenly arrives. Brenda prevents Sonny from having Alcazar killed. Sonny realizes Alcazar made Brenda an offer she finds tempting.
Carly regrets her decision of sending Sonny to Brenda's rescue. Alcazar asks for Carly's help in convincing Brenda to leave town with him.
AJ arrives home to learn that Courtney shot Coleman. AJ is furious at Jason for having given Courtney a gun. AJ believes Jason gave Courtney the gun in the hope that she would have accidentally shot AJ. Courtney tells the police she may have shot the wrong man. Coleman survives the surgery and writes AJ's name in blood.
Luke, Lucky and Elizabeth are taken back to Port Charles. Lucky fears he won't be able to stop Luke's downward spiral.
Nikolas and Gia are determined to find out what Scott is hiding. Nikolas and Gia manage to steal the tape of Laura's confession from Scott and turn it over to Alexis. Luke and Scott's old wounds about Laura resurface. Nikolas tells Luke that Alexis has the tape of Laura's confession. Luke is desperate to stop Alexis from using the tape to get his murder conviction overturned. Alexis confronts Scott with the tape and threatens to make it public if he doesn't clear Luke's name.

Sonny challenges Brenda to live life to the fullest. Skye overhears a furious Brenda declare to Sonny that she could get Jax back in a heartbeat if she wanted. Skye throws the fact that she and Jax made love in Brenda's face.
Brenda and Skye begin a war over Jax. Brenda goes to a sleeping Jax's bedside and makes clearly evident her love for him. Skye tells Alcazar she will do anything to help him remove Brenda from Jax's life. Carly seemingly agrees when Alcazar asks her to use Brenda's weaknesses to convince Brenda to come back to him. Sonny then becomes proud of Carly when she tells him about Alcazar's request.
In front of AJ, Courtney, and Jason, a hospitalized Coleman tells Taggert that AJ paid him to harass Courtney so that AJ would seem heroic by rescuing her in the end. Courtney believes AJ is innocent, but Jason becomes convinced of his guilt.
Scott tells Alexis he will drop the charges against Luke if she withdraws from the election. Luke accuses Nikolas of having betrayed Laura when he gave the tape of her confession to Alexis. Lucky refuses to aid Luke on his path towards self-destruction.

Skye finds Jax and Brenda in a seemingly compromising situation. Skye accuses Jax of sending Brenda mixed signals. Thinking he will convince Brenda to leave town with him, Skye meets with Alcazar and agrees to arrange for him to meet with Brenda alone. Skye lures Brenda to Club 101 under the pretense of wanting to call a truce. Skye is horrified when she sees Alcazar and his guards kidnap Brenda.
Jason makes a veiled threat against AJ. Courtney admits to AJ that she has doubts about his innocence but later begs his forgiveness. Coleman asks Jason for help in exposing AJ's guilt. Alexis withdraws from the election. Lucky realizes Alexis quit the race in order to free Luke. Scott drops the murder charges and releases Luke from jail. Luke's blood boils over Alexis' actions.

Skye tells Sonny and Carly that Alcazar kidnapped Brenda. Alcazar takes Brenda to his private jet. Sonny reaches the jet as Alcazar begins to taxi down the runway. Brenda manages to pull Sonny inside the jet as it becomes airborne. Thinking he killed Sonny during the take off, Alcazar is shocked to find him inside the cabin. Alcazar, Sonny and Brenda are horrified when the jet begins to plummet towards the ground.
Carly and Skye find common ground in their hatred for Brenda. Skye gives Jax a watered down version of Brenda's kidnapping and claims Brenda chose to leave with Alcazar. Jax jumps in to action to find Brenda.
Luke unleashes his anger at Alexis but blames himself for Laura's situation. Luke refuses to listen to Lucky's heartfelt explanation of his actions and physically attacks him. Ned breaks up the fight and Luke storms off into the night. Luke pulls the fire alarm at the police station. Once the building has been evacuated, Luke begins to destroy the squad room before setting it on fire. Overcome by the smoke, Luke loses consciousness as the fire grows.
After speaking with Coleman, who claims AJ gave him $250,000 to harass Courtney, Jason begins his search to expose AJ's guilt. Jason learns that AJ's out of town court case to try and get his inheritance back was settled in a matter of days and that AJ was awarded $500,000. AJ tells Courtney he was offered a job in New York City and asks her to move there immediately.

Lucky admits to Scott that Luke could be responsible for setting the fire at the police station and explains that Luke is spinning out of control. Fearing for Luke's life, Lucky breaks free from Scott and races into the burning building. Lucky manages to rescue Luke.
Scott refuses to press charges against Luke, nor will he give Luke the satisfaction of sending him to prison. Luke warns Lucky not to try and save his life again. Lucky fears he won't be able to stop Luke from destroying himself.
Carly tells Jason that Alcazar kidnapped Brenda and that Sonny raced to rescue her. Jason learns Alcazar's jet is bound for Venezuela. Jason refuses to take Carly with him as he heads for Venezuela. Carly stows away on the plane and is soon discovered by Jason. Carly fears that Sonny loves Brenda. Jason tries to assure Carly that Sonny won't leave her for Brenda.
Thinking Brenda went off with Alcazar willingly, Jax decides not to go after her. Jax reaffirms his love and loyalty to Skye. Jax realizes Skye lied about her recent trip and later learns Skye went to the clinic in Switzerland where Brenda had been treated.
Lucas has the tough task of telling Bobbie that he failed another test at school. Bobbie accuses a frustrated Lucas of not applying himself. After reading Lucas' test answers, Georgie suspects he might have dyslexia. Alcazar's jet crashes in a tropical location.

On their search for Sonny and Brenda in South America, Jason and Carly are arrested after being accused of being enemies of Alcazar. Jason and Carly are held in jail where they learn they are going to be executed.
Brenda and Sonny survive the plane crash and end up stranded somewhere in the Caribbean. Sonny and Brenda's shared plight helps to thaw the ice between them. Alcazar, who also survived the crash, secretly watches Sonny and Brenda while making plans to kill Sonny and leave the island with Brenda.
Skye takes Jax home from the hospital. Jax is privately hurt when Skye continues to lie to him about her recent travels. Jax meets with Brenda's doctor, who tells him that Brenda isn't dying. Skye confesses to AJ that she learned Brenda's condition wasn't terminal and that she didn't tell either Jax or Brenda.
Luke gathers Lucky, Nikolas, Elizabeth and Lesley together as he stages a "funeral" for Laura. Luke coldly accuses his family of abandoning Laura in her time of need. Bobbie arrives with Lulu, who asks Luke if he is coming home. Luke is gentle with Lulu as he sends her away with Lesley. Luke unleashes his fury at Bobbie, who fails in her attempt to reason with him. Luke deliberately gets himself arrested after attacking Taggert.
Courtney doesn't share AJ's enthusiasm about moving to New York City but covers her feelings in front of AJ.

Sonny overpowers Alcazar and ties him up, but not before Alcazar has the chance to alert his minions of their whereabouts. Brenda threatens to kill Alcazar herself. Sonny follows Brenda when she runs off. Brenda gives Sonny the gun and begs him to put her out of her misery. Sonny pulls Brenda into a kiss. Meanwhile, Carly and Jason face a certain death sentence. Jason and Carly manage to escape from the guards and they begin their search for Sonny and Brenda. Ric, a prisoner in an adjoining cell, becomes alerted when he hears Carly mention Sonny's name. Skye fears losing Jax to Brenda. Jax realizes Skye knew the truth that Brenda isn't dying and kept the information to herself. Elizabeth is stunned and somewhat heartbroken when Courtney tells her Jason married Brenda. AJ throws an impromptu party to announce to Alan, Monica and Mike that he and Courtney are moving to Manhattan. AJ is furious when he hears Courtney leaving a goodbye message for Jason. In his anger, AJ makes an incriminating remark, which leads Courtney to believe that he might be involved in her stalking. Elizabeth is optimistic about the future.

Sonny and Brenda end their kiss. Sonny urges Brenda to make the most out of whatever time she has left. After breaking free from his restraints, Alcazar fires a flare gun at Sonny but hits the plane wreckage, which bursts into flames. Alcazar manages to grab Brenda. Sonny attacks Alcazar and orders Brenda to run. Alcazar gets the upper hand and holds Sonny at gunpoint as Brenda finds herself sinking in quicksand. Meanwhile, Carly is forced into a drinking match with an island local in order to gain access to his boat. Carly wins the contest and Jason carries her to the boat. A drunken Carly annoys Jason with her flirting. Jason spots the burning wreckage and he and Carly race to rescue Sonny and Brenda. Skye tries to explain to Jax why she kept the truth about Brenda to herself. Skye admits she feels threatened by Brenda. Skye is shattered when Jax walks out on her. AJ talks himself out of a tight spot with Courtney. Coleman grabs Courtney. Coleman goes to AJ demanding more money. Courtney arrives unseen and is horrified when she hears AJ admitting to his role in her stalking. Zander asks Alexis for help in turning his life around. Ned promises Alexis he will try to find Zander a job at ELQ.

Alcazar prepares to kill Sonny as Jason arrives on the scene. Sonny and Jason struggle with Alcazar. Meanwhile, Carly finds Brenda sinking in quicksand. In the process of trying to rescue Brenda, Carly falls into the quicksand. Brenda and Carly argue.
Jason and Sonny rescue Brenda and Carly and inform them that Alcazar is under control. On the plane ride home, Alcazar plants a seed of doubt about what really happened between Sonny and Brenda in Carly's already suspicious mind.
AJ realizes Coleman set him up. AJ confesses everything to Courtney. Courtney throws AJ out. Scott asks Alexis to help him prevent Luke from going to prison by having Luke declared mentally unstable. Scott admits he wants to help Luke because it is what Laura would want. Luke is forced to meet with Cameron, who successfully gets Luke to reveal his feelings of self-hatred for failing Laura.
Georgie agrees to secretly help Lucas overcome his dyslexia. Georgie fears boys won't like her if she's smart. Maxie tries to get closer to Lucas. Georgie is hurt when she sees Lucas and Maxie having fun together.

Carly relates her and Jason's adventure to an amazed Sonny. Brenda is hit with a blinding headache and fears her disease is progressing rapidly. Sonny tells a questioning Carly that nothing happened between him and Brenda on the island.
Brenda asks Jason to take her away. Brenda tells Sonny she is leaving for good and they part with heartfelt words and a kiss. Sonny reaffirms his love for Carly. Jax and Brenda realize Brenda stole Jason's gun. Brenda visits Lily's grave and realizes she wants to live. Jax finds Brenda and tells her that she isn't dying.
Alcazar informs Skye that Brenda wants Sonny, not Jax. Skye then tells Sonny and Carly that Brenda isn't dying. AJ overhears Courtney talking about filing for divorce. AJ refuses to give up on Courtney. AJ asks Ned for a job at ELQ and looks forward to helping Ned bring down Jason and Sonny. Ned and Alexis both miss Kristina.

Scott and Cameron escort Luke to his anger management group. Luke ends up turning the group on itself and a major brawl breaks out. A satisfied Luke calmly walks away.
Alcazar cruelly tells Alexis that she is responsible for Kristina's death. Alcazar continues to rile Alexis, who doubles over with abdominal pain. Alexis begs Alcazar to help her, but he coldly walks away.

Carly wants to know why Sonny returned to her and asks if he loves her more than Brenda. Sonny silences Carly's questions with a passionate kiss. Alcazar coldly leaves Alexis as she goes into premature labor in the park. Cameron finds Alexis and carries her to the hospital. Ned arrives as Alexis is about to give birth. Both Alexis and her baby face a life and death crisis.
Jax and Brenda relish being together again. Skye begins to drink after witnessing Jax and Brenda's passion at the cottage. A drunken Skye tells Jax she won't give him a divorce. Sonny encounters Brenda on the docks. Sonny and Brenda are both happy about her new lease on life. Sonny tells Brenda she'll never be happy with Jax.
Courtney prevents Jason from beating AJ to a pulp. Courtney unleashes her anger at AJ before walking away from him. Courtney overhears Carly accusing Jason of having feelings for Courtney.
Luke is furious when Scott releases him to Cameron's care. Luke takes off into the night and is hit by a car while pushing a woman out of harms way. Luke thinks he saw Laura, but there is no evidence Laura, or anyone else, was ever there.

Sonny feels Brenda is fooling herself by thinking she will be happy with Jax. Skye refuses to give Jax a divorce and vows to break his heart the same way he broke hers. After Jax leaves, Brenda confronts Skye and an argument ensues. Skye vows to ruin Brenda's life.
Sonny plants a seed of doubt in Jax's mind about his being able to keep Brenda happy. Brenda presents Jax with his wedding ring from their marriage. Jax and Brenda kiss. Jason and Brenda agree to dissolve their marriage as quickly as possible.
Ned coaches Alexis through a very dangerous delivery. Alexis gives birth to a premature baby girl, who is immediately taken to the neo-natal care unit. Alexis begs Ned to take her to see her daughter, Kristina. Alexis sees Kristina fighting for her life and begs her daughter to live.
Cameron doesn't buy Luke's story about seeing a mystery woman who looks like Laura. Luke later finds proof that his mystery woman is real. Courtney admits to Jason she came to throw herself in his arms as a way to get back at AJ.

Alan finds Skye, who has fallen and hit her head. Skye is unsuccessful in her attempt to use her injury to gain Jax's sympathy. Jax learns Skye was instrumental in helping Alcazar kidnap Brenda. Skye overhears Alan mention the party the Quatermaines are throwing for Brenda.
Ned convinces Alexis to leave Kristina's side in order to get something to eat. Alexis attacks Alcazar when she returns and finds him standing by Kristina's empty incubator. Alexis soon learns that Kristina is safe and sound but informs Ned that Alcazar left her to die in the park. An irrational Alexis blames Ned for making her leave Kristina when she might have needed her. Alexis refuses to leave Kristina's side.
Ric is released from the South American jail and transforms himself from scruffy prisoner to a presentable citizen. On board a jet, Ric eyes a gun while making a cryptic phone call.
After Courtney voices her desire to get closer to Sonny's family, Carly offers to let Courtney watch Michael in the park. AJ encounters Michael and Courtney in the park. Jason finds AJ with Michael and runs him off. Jason's words hit home with Courtney, who realizes AJ married her as a way to get back at Sonny and reclaim his rights to Michael. Courtney breaks down in Jason's arms.

A vengeful Skye warns Jax and Brenda that she is going to make them suffer. Skye crashes the Quartermaine's party for Brenda. Alcazar arrives at the party uninvited and quickly becomes the center of everyone's hatred. Brenda threatens Alcazar. Skye joins Alcazar in the back of the limousine. After speaking with Cameron, Lucky fears for Luke's sanity. Luke encounters the mystery woman in the park. Ric arrives in Port Charles and keeps a close eye on Sonny as he and Carly enjoy a night out. Edward is shocked to learn Ned hired AJ to work at ELQ.

Jason hustles Brenda out of Alcazar's suite. Jax exits Alcazar's terrace and pockets Brenda's dropped bracelet before leaving the room. Skye dresses hastily and bolts from Alcazar's suite. Enrique walks away after coming across Alcazar's body. Alexis screams when she sees Alcazar's lifeless body. Alexis admits to Taggert that she was on her way to confront Alcazar but claims she never made it to his suite.
At his penthouse, Jason tries to get answers from a hysterical Brenda. Brenda swears to Sonny that she didn't kill Alcazar but does admit to inflicting a minor stab wound during their encounter. Skye arrives at the cottage and tells Jax that Brenda killed Alcazar.
AJ gives Scott and Taggert evidence implicating Jason in the murder. AJ tries to convince Courtney that Jason murdered Alcazar, which Ric overhears. Brenda and Jax privately suspect that the other might be responsible for the crime.
Luke learns that Summer's real name is Laura but she offers no more information about herself. Ned isn't surprised that Alcazar met an untimely end. Ned is taken aback when Alexis announces that she plans on raising Kristina alone.

Jason is arrested for murder. Carly fears Jason will take the fall for Brenda. Carly questions Sonny as to whether or not he believes Brenda is innocent. After making love, Brenda realizes Jax thinks she killed Alcazar. Brenda admits to Jax that she went to Alcazar's suite but doesn't reveal her later encounter with Jason and Sonny. Brenda begins to suspect that Jax murdered Alcazar. Brenda agrees to leave the country with Jax.
Courtney is furious at AJ for turning Jason in to Scott and Taggert. AJ tries to convince Skye to tell Scott that she saw Jason commit murder even though she didn't. Skye goes to Scott and claims she saw Brenda kill Alcazar.
Ned becomes angry when Alexis pushes him away while insisting she doesn't want his help in raising Kristina. Bobbie arranges for Alexis to touch Kristina for the first time. As Ned vents his rage over Alcazar's corpse, he appears to be yet another murder suspect.

Carly informs Courtney that Jason would spend the rest of his life in prison if Sonny asked him to. Sonny tells Brenda that he thinks Jax killed Alcazar. Jason is released from custody after Taggert finds Brenda's fingerprints on the knife Alcazar was stabbed with.
Brenda is arrested for Alcazar's murder. Sonny asks Alexis to represent Brenda and sees Kristina for the first time. As Sonny is with Alexis, Kristina's heart stops beating.
Elizabeth is drawn to the guitar music she hears and discovers Ric, who is Bobbie's newest boarder. Ric later goes to Sonny's penthouse and encounters Carly. Courtney is thrilled to see Jason and they end up on the verge of a kiss.
Luke sees Summer again and follows her as she meets a male companion. Luke thinks he is coming to Summer's rescue when it appears as though the man is threatening her. After the man walks off, Summer tells Luke that she is a call girl and the man was a client. Luke hires Summer.

Courtney experiences a series of strange dreams, which are all vaguely similar in the sense that she keeps reliving the same day over and over again with a few different twists. In each dream, Courtney anticipates kissing Jason but always ends up sharing a kiss with someone else. After growing weary of the repetition, Courtney goes on a preemptive strike to end the outcome of her day. Courtney finally gets to kiss Jason in her final dream.

Jason explains to Courtney the reasons for his loyalty to Sonny. Jason heads to the police station after learning on Brenda's arrest. Scott makes a strong case against both Brenda and Jason. In private, Brenda and Jason agree to trust each other and work together. Brenda insists to Jason that Jax didn't kill Alcazar. Jax confronts Skye for accusing Brenda of murder.
Ric arrives at the penthouse with a letter for Sonny. Sonny isn't pleased to find Carly talking with Ric when he returns home. Ric gives Sonny the letter, which is a recommendation for Ric from one of Sonny's associates. Sonny refuses to give Ric a job.
Ned consents to emergency surgery when Kristina stops breathing. Alexis angrily pulls away from Ned. Felicia tries to comfort Ned as Cameron offers Alexis some sound advice. Luke buys an evening with Summer and clears the club for their date. Luke doesn't want to sleep with Summer but does want to dance to his and Laura's song.

Skye refuses to recant her accusation that she saw Brenda murder Alcazar. Skye bitterly tells Jax that she and Alcazar slept together. Jason begins to suspect that Skye killed Alcazar.
Scott and AJ are determined to nail Brenda, Jason and Sonny for the murder. AJ warns Skye not to change her story. Scott tricks Brenda into implicating Jason, Sonny and herself in Alcazar's murder. Jason tells Skye he knows she killed Alcazar.
At Monica's insistence, Ned tries, but fails, to convince Alexis to leave the ICU, where she has been keeping vigil by Kristina's empty incubator. Cameron supports Alexis' decision to stay. Cameron tells Alexis he understands her behavior as he recounts the story of his son's death. Alexis learns Kristina survived the surgery and realizes Ned made the right decision.
Luke and Summer continue dancing. Luke pulls away from Summer's kiss, realizing he was trying to live a fantasy. Luke offers to help Summer if she is in trouble and makes plans for another "date."

Skye is shaken by Jason's promise to frame her for murder. Skye confesses to Scott that she slept with Alcazar on the night of his murder. Scott assures Skye he will cover her actions in court and advises her to stick to her original story in order to pin the murder on Brenda, Jason and Sonny. Brenda and Skye have a nasty encounter at the police station and Skye vows to see Brenda rot in prison for the rest of her life.
Elizabeth discovers Ric's stash of information about Sonny and later tells Carly, who confronts Ric. Ric claims he was researching a business plan. After leaving Ric with a warning, Carly takes a tumble. Sonny is angry when he returns home and finds Ric tending to Carly's injured ankle. Carly is impressed with Ric's business plan and urges Sonny to read it. Sonny grows suspicious of Ric. Ric awakens from a nightmare of an explosion.
Alexis makes it clear to Gia that she is putting her law practice on hold. After a conversation with Ned, Nikolas plans on asking Gia to elope. Gia is thrilled when she saves the day for one of Alexis' clients. Nikolas' plans for eloping are put on hold when Gia announces she wants to go to law school. Alexis thanks Ned and assures him he will be a part of Kristina's life.
Georgie helps Lucas with his homework but both cover in front of Maxie. Georgie feels left out when Maxie and Lucas head off to a party together. Courtney is thrilled when Jason accepts her dinner invitation.

Jax realizes Scott is using Brenda to get to Jason and Sonny. Sonny and Jax blame each other for Brenda's predicament. Taggert gives Scott a videotape which implicates Jax in Alcazar's murder. Scott takes the evidence but has no intention of using it in court.
Brenda urges Jax to let Sonny and Jason handle her situation. Vowing that Brenda won't go to prison, Jax confesses to Scott that he killed Alcazar. Sonny tells Ric that he has a job for him to do.
Courtney insists to AJ that she is going through with the divorce. Carly teases Jason about his date with Courtney. Jason and Courtney are nervous at first but end up in a serious kiss.
Lucky wonders if a woman is responsible for Luke's improved outlook. Lucky admits to Elizabeth that it is hard for him to think of Luke with someone other than Laura. Meanwhile, Luke uses Summer to try to recreate the night he and Laura were locked inside Wyndam's. Summer realizes what Luke is attempting to do when he insists she repeat the same words that Laura had spoke.

A drunken Skye arrives to give Mac her official statement about Alcazar's murder. Mac has doubts about Skye's credibility. Skye loses control when she learns Jax confessed to the murder and further destroys her credibility in the process. On the drive home, Skye hits someone with her car.
Scott refuses to accept Jax's confession even after Taggert presents him new evidence supporting Jax's claim. Taggert is disgusted when Scott illegally listens in on Jax and Brenda. Jax and Brenda's conversation only makes Jax look guiltier and Scott is forced to arrest him. Scott, however, is still determined to pin the crime on Brenda, Sonny and Jason.
Sonny hires Ric to dig up dirt on Scott. After getting an earful on Scott from Bobbie, Ric arrives at Scott's office. Sonny has Ric investigated and learns his claims about himself appear to be true. Jason and Courtney make love. Jason, reluctant to get involved with someone again, remains distant afterward. Courtney is disappointed when Jason leaves. AJ arrives to offer Courtney a divorce settlement. AJ realizes Courtney slept with Jason.
Luke admits to Summer that he wants her to be Laura. Summer feels comfortable around Luke. Summer leaves Wyndam's to meet another client. Luke follows Summer and sees a woman he believes to her being harassed by a man on the docks. After the woman runs off, Luke tells the man he is the woman's pimp. Luke is arrested by an undercover cop.

Scott doesn't take Ric up on his offer to help bring Sonny down. Carly realizes Sonny lied to her about going to see Brenda. Sonny convinces Brenda not to confess to Alcazar's murder in order to clear Jax' name. Scott pushes Brenda to her breaking point when he tells her Jax will get the death penalty unless she confesses.
Cameron doesn't believe Luke's claim that Summer is a real person. Luke can't give Cameron proof that Summer exists. Cameron gives Luke twenty-four hours to produce Summer or warns he will recommend that Luke be committed.
AJ lashes out at Courtney, claiming Jason only sees her as being easy sex and nothing more. Jason returns to Courtney and tries to assure her otherwise. Jason apologizes to Courtney for leaving earlier and agrees to spend the night. Courtney and Jason both agree to keep their relationship a secret for the time being.
Coleman witnesses Skye hit Nikolas with her car. Coleman covers for a drunken Skye and tells the police he was driving the car. Coleman later tells Skye he plans to collect on the favor she owes him.

Alexis learns of Jax' confession and asks Cameron to stay with Kristina while she goes to the police station. Brenda begs Jax to recant his confession but he refuses. Jason leaves Courtney in order to escort Brenda home from the police station. Carly storms out after arguing with Sonny about Brenda.
Jax agrees to let Alexis represent him. Brenda realizes that she can either save Jax by confessing or save Sonny by keeping quiet. Brenda challenges Sonny to deny that he wants her.
Taggert demands that Scott hand over the videotape implicating Jax in Alcazar's murder. Scott later discovers the tape is missing. Carly encounters Ric, who charms her. Scott arrives and accuses Ric of stealing the tape from his office.
Coleman goes to Skye to call in his favor. A hidden Coleman overhears AJ rip into Skye over her "eyewitness account" of seeing Brenda kill Alcazar. Coleman suspects that Skye could have committed the murder and demands that she help him polish his image.
Cameron grows emotional as he sits with Kristina. Felicia encounters Cameron, who asks if she would like to touch Kristina. Alexis is angry to find Felicia with Kristina. Jason tells Courtney he can't see her for a while.

Sonny accuses Brenda of still trying to play him and Jax against each other. Meanwhile, Carly prevents Scott from getting his hands on the videotape of Jax and manages to smuggle the tape away. Carly gives the tape to Sonny, who is angry off his encounter with Brenda.
Sonny goes to turn the tape over to Scott as Scott tells Ric he wants to work with him after all. Ric prevents Sonny from giving the tape to Scott and explains Scott would simply destroy the evidence. Sonny congratulates Ric on a job well done.
Carly stops Brenda from going to the police to confess to murder. Jason explains to Courtney why he has to stay married to Brenda. After making love, Jason and Courtney agree to keep meeting in secret.
Luke finds Summer and convinces her to meet Cameron. Luke begins to question his sanity when Summer fails to appear as she promised. Cameron is surprised to learn Alexis is taking on Jax' case. Cameron convinces Felicia to offer to help Alexis with the investigative work on Jax' case. Alexis accepts Felicia's help but doesn't know it was Cameron's idea.

Lucky, Bobbie and Cameron are alarmed to find Luke giving away the furnishings and the cash from his club and Kelly's. Luke continues to act irrationally but is really creating a media circus in order to draw Summer out in the open. Fearing for Luke's sanity, Cameron has Luke taken away as a heartbroken Lucky looks on.
Sonny gives the incriminating videotape of Jax to Taggert. Carly is angry when Sonny forbids her from going to Jax' bail hearing. Jax is denied bail when Taggert presents the judge with the tape. Skye has an emotional outburst over Jax' dire predicament. Scott informs Brenda what happened in court and also tells Jax that Sonny is responsible for the tape being admitted as evidence. Later, Brenda accuses Sonny of wanting to send Jax to prison.
AJ puts a stop to Felicia's questioning of Skye. AJ later tells Skye he has a plan to exonerate Jax and put the blame back on Brenda, Jason and Sonny. Carly is impressed by Ric's insight into her and Sonny's relationship. Ric suggests that Carly open another club to regain her independence. Maxie throws a monkey wrench in Georgie's attempt to get closer to Lucas.

Jax is forced to submit to a polygraph test and appears to be telling the truth when he insists he killed Alcazar. Meanwhile, Skye agrees to AJ's plan to nail Brenda and Jason, which Coleman overhears. Skye pulls her skeet gun on Coleman but their anger ends in passion. Scott arranges for Brenda and Jax to recreate Alcazar's murder in his hotel suite. In the end, Scott is able to prove that Jax didn't kill Alcazar.
Cameron has Luke taken to a secluded cabin. Luke quickly gets under Cameron's skin. Cameron leaves Luke alone and Luke is happily surprised when Summer arrives. Summer releases Luke's restraints and he and Summer quickly take off.
Not wanting to leave Courtney, Jason reluctantly agrees to Sonny's request to take Brenda out of town. Carly helps Jason and Courtney spend time together. Jason and Courtney find a place to rendezvous in secret.
Sonny "jokes" to Carly that he would kill Jason if he became involved with Courtney. Carly pitches her idea of opening a club to Sonny, who backs her plan. Sonny balks when Carly says she wants Ric to be her business manager.

Jax is released on bail. Skye and Alexis try in vain to convince Jax not to return to Brenda. Jax, without being cruel, tells Skye that he loves Brenda. At the end of the day, Jax is with Brenda as a miserable Skye sits alone. Brenda washes her hands of Sonny.
Summer agrees to meet Cameron at Luke's request. Luke realizes Summer is running away from her troubles. Summer asks Luke to stop pursuing her. Cameron tells Lucky that Luke is missing. Lucky asks Cameron to leave Luke alone.
Jason tells Courtney that he has to take Brenda out of the country. Carly can't bring herself to tell Jason that Sonny is opposed to him getting involved with Courtney. Carly and Sonny bicker but later make up. AJ agrees to team up with Coleman against Jason. Cameron finds Alexis at the scene of Alcazar's murder.

Alexis covers her reasons for being in Alcazar's suite to Cameron. Ned accuses Alexis of spending too much time on Jax' defense and also accuses her of being self-centered. Ned reaches his breaking point with Alexis and storms off. Ned picks a fight with Sonny and later vows revenge.
Jason warns Brenda that they may have to leave the country, but they agree to wait until after Christmas. Jax insists that he will be the one to take Brenda away. Courtney encounters AJ at Club 101 and ends up quitting her job. Carly hires Courtney to work at her new club. Skye wants to get even with Brenda.
Felicia gets a clue to a possible witness to Alcazar's murder. Summer admits to Luke that she is hiding from a powerful man. Summer refuses to let Luke help her. Luke attacks a man he believes is terrorizing Summer and is arrested for assault. Sonny fears impending trouble from rival business associates Sammy Tagliati and Faith Rosco.

Despite Alexis and Cameron's protests, Scott has Luke committed to a mental institution. Cameron still doesn't believe that Summer exists but promises Luke he will find her if she does. Scott tells Luke he is getting what he deserves for what he did to Laura.
Ned overhears Taggert angrily telling Alexis that Sonny's rivals will be his undoing. Jason rebuffs Elizabeth's attempt to reconcile. Carly tells Elizabeth that Jason has moved on from her. Carly decides to open her new club in Kelly's basement. Courtney is forced to cancel her plans to decorate her Christmas tree with Jason when Mike appears on the scene. Later, Jason surprises Courtney with a new tree.
Ned meets Faith Rosco and suggests they work together to bring Sonny down. Gia promises to spend more time with Nikolas. Jason warns Carly to be cautious of Ric. Carly reaches out to Ric after he recalls a traumatic experience from his childhood.
Lucas kisses Georgie on the cheek under the mistletoe but Maxie later kisses Lucas for real. Felicia gets a lead on Ida, a possible witness to Alcazar's murder. Ida admits to Felicia that she saw who killed Alcazar.

Ida tells Felicia and Alexis that she saw Brenda kill Alcazar. Alexis accuses Sonny of paying Ida to disappear after the murder. Ida goes to Scott and tells him that Brenda is responsible for Alcazar's murder.
Scott refuses to give Cameron assistance in his search for Summer. Cameron accuses Scott of being as obsessed with Laura as Luke is. Summer appears to Luke at the mental institution and claims she only exists in his mind.
Carly is thrilled when Sonny gets Courtney to attend a holiday gathering at the penthouse as she had already invited Jason. Faith wants to hear more about Ned's proposal to destroy Sonny.
Elizabeth and Ric start to grow closer. Skye begins to drink after Jax rejects the attempt to make amends. AJ assures Skye that his plan to frame Brenda will succeed.

Luke thinks that Summer is real and that she wants him to think otherwise because she is afraid of the people who are after her. Summer runs off and Luke punches an orderly who claims he never saw Summer. Luke ends up on the ledge of the roof. Cameron joins Luke and accuses him of making another grandstand play. Summer arrives on the roof. Coleman unexpectedly arrives at the Quartermaine tree lighting party as Skye's date. Carly works overtime to throw Jason and Courtney together. Jax decides to take Brenda on the run after Alexis informs him an eyewitness has come forward claiming that Brenda killed Alcazar. Sonny orders Jason to flee the country with Brenda. Jax and Jason hinder each other's attempt to whisk Brenda away. Ida tells Scott that Jason paid her to disappear after the murder. Taggert arrests Sonny in the middle of his holiday celebration. Max arrives at the Quartermaines to arrest Brenda as the lights suddenly go off.

Jax whisks Brenda outside as the police arrive at the Quartermaine mansion to arrest her. Jason knocks Jax unconscious, planning to take Brenda out of the country himself. At the cottage, Jax gets the jump on Jason and ties him up. Jax takes Brenda to his jet. As they prepare to fly out of the country, Brenda declares her love for Jax. AJ, Skye and Coleman are revealed to be responsible for Ida, the "eyewitness," coming forward with her claim against Brenda. Taggert arrests Sonny in front of Michael. At the police station, Courtney impulsively hugs Jason when he is brought in after being arrested. Sonny realizes that someone other than Jax paid off Ida. Cameron sees Summer on the roof and realizes she really does exist. After being released from the institution, Luke takes Summer home. Luke tries to convince Summer that she can change her life. Summer later sends a client away and tells Luke she is out of the call girl business.

Edward reluctantly agrees to play Santa at the annual Christmas party at the hospital. Edward's heart melts when he witnesses the joy in the children's eyes. Alan continues the tradition of reading the Christmas story. Ric gets Sonny released on bail. Sonny is angry with Ric for taking matters into his own hands. Michael, Sonny and Carly share a warm family moment. Courtney is pained over seeing Jason in jail. Jason later surprises Courtney when he arrives at the loft and kisses her passionately. Elizabeth and Ric end up spending Christmas Eve together at Kelly's. Cameron arranges for Alexis to hold Kristina for the first time. Brenda has a dream involving Sonny. Brenda wants to call Sonny but Jax convinces her not to. A judge arrives with papers expediting Jax' divorce from Skye and Brenda's annulment with Jason. Brenda stops herself as she is about to sign the annulment papers. Sonny meets with Felicia and they both realize that AJ could be responsible for paying Ida to frame Brenda. Sonny, Jason and Felicia form a plan to get the evidence they need against AJ. Carly tells Courtney that AJ could be responsible for Jason's arrest. Courtney vows to get the truth out of AJ. Coleman defends Skye to Alan, who has no choice but to release Skye from the hospital. Coleman tells Skye she confessed to killing Alcazar but promises to keep her secret. Summer turns down Luke's offer to work at his club. Summer explains she doesn't want to try and mold herself into the person Luke wants her to be. Lucky contemplates going to college. Lucky and Summer encounter each other at the university.

Brenda explains to Jax that she can't end her marriage to Jason because if they stay married, they can't be forced to testify against each other. Brenda admits to Jax that she doesn't want to see either Jason or Sonny go to prison. Jax pledges his heart to Brenda. Alone, Brenda calls Taggert, who tells her that Sonny and Jason will be indicted. Jax is alarmed when he returns and finds Brenda missing. Brenda heads back to Port Charles. Felicia tells Sonny she succeeded in scaring Ida into going on the run in the hope she'll go directly to the person who bribed her. Jason sets up surveillance on the Quartermaine terrace thinking Ida will come to see AJ. Despite Carly's warning, Courtney goes to see AJ. Ric suggests to Carly that Sonny should turn his business legitimate. Sonny becomes angry with Ric. Summer tells Lucky her name is Laura and doesn't realize he is Luke's son. Later, Luke encounters Summer and learns she might take an acting class. Luke then hires Summer to continue to pretend to be his "Laura." At Jake's, Coleman tells Skye he'll keep her confession a secret because he wants Jason out of the way. Coleman admits he wants a chance with Courtney. Ida arrives at the club. Skye fears Ida might name her as Alcazar's killer. Faith takes Ned up on his offer to team up against Sonny. Ned and Faith quickly grow passionate.

Brenda informs Scott that she returned to clear her name, not to confess to a murder she didn't commit. Jax arrives and vows to help Brenda. News of Brenda's return interrupts Sonny and Carly's romantic moment. Sonny and Jax clash at the police station. Ida picks Brenda out of a line-up and claims she saw Brenda kill Alcazar. AJ warns Jason he will get what he deserves. Later, Scott tells Jason he will be charged as an accomplice in Alcazar's murder, which Courtney overhears. Ida tells Skye and Coleman that she saw Skye on Alcazar's balcony on the night he was murdered, but admits she didn't see who actually killed him. Coleman gives Ida Skye's jewelry to insure she sticks to her original story. Ned and Faith make love. Ned urges Faith to have patience in their plan to take Sonny down. Later, Ned tells Alexis that he will raise Sonny's baby as his own with the unspoken implication that this is part of Ned's plan of revenge against Sonny. Cameron is not pleased to learn that Alexis has been digging into his past. Cameron refuses to answer Alexis' questions. Wanting to move ahead with her plans for the club, Carly calls Ric. Carly and Ric start to demolish the wall leading to a hidden room in Kelly's basement and are shocked by what they find. Skye breaks down when she receives divorce papers from Jax.

Carly and Ric break through the wall leading to a hidden room in Kelly's basement and discover the remnants of an old speakeasy. Carly and Ric encounter Catherine, an elderly woman who formerly opened the speakeasy. Catherine regales Ric and Carly with her story of the club's opening and subsequent closing on New Year's Eve in 1925. Catherine explains the club closed on the same night it opened at the stroke of midnight due to gangsters. Catherine's story oddly parallels the lives of Carly, Sonny and Jason.
