Serving the needs of Genealogists in Elwood, Pipecreek Township and Northern Madison County,Indiana
The Elwood Pipecreek Genealogy Society was formed in 1996, and is the only active genealogy group in Madison County, Indiana. Currently we have members that not only live in the immediate Madison County area, but also in the states of Florida; Nevada; California, Missouri, Virginia and Arizona. Our yearly dues are only $10.00 and your membership includes our quarterly newsletter, Hoosier Tid Bits. We hold monthly meetings on the third Thursday each month. They are held in the meeting room of the Elwood Public Library; 1600 Main St. in Elwood,Indiana. The meetings start at 7:30p.m. and are open to the public. Prior to the business part of the meeting, we also have guest speakers; or one of our members will present a special program.
