“…we are shooting on Tuesday and Wednesday, but I guess that we only need you on the Wednesday for your scenes okay?” “Yea sure, north London, and I got the address, okay see you then” “Okay, bye” “Byebye” I said and hung up. “Mum, dad, Wednesday you have to drop me of in north London!!” I yelled and ran up the stairs. “Oh, not another long-distance boyfriend” my brother moaned. I giggled and went into my room. Oh my god, if my parents knew what I was gonna do they would freak, but I couldn’t tell them. I promised that my next job would stay a secret as I was always asking everybody to do everything for me. So now, only my best friend knew. Nobody else, except the people that I’m gonna work with of course. And after Wednesday whole England will know what kinda work I do.

“Yea, stop, here is it!!” I said and got my bag. “Why are you working all the way up here?” my dad asked. He was worried about his little girl. “Don’t worry dad, in a few days you will find out what I’m doing here” I said. This only made my dad look more worried. I laughed. “It has nothing to do with boyfriends so I wont get pregnant or anything” I said and got out of the car. “You call me when you need me to pick you up ok?” my dad said. “Ah dad, I can just take the subway, it’s okay” I said and smiled. He nodded slowly, wished me good luck and drove of. “Ah, there you are, just in time” a man standing at the door said. I smiled and went inside. “Your clothes are ready, Mrs. Dickenson does your make-up and ehh…” “anything else?” I asked, following the man. “Oh yea, Reggie is here now with his camera team, interviewing the lads, so don’t get scared when you suddenly have a camera in your face” “Okay” “Okay, that’s it, here’s your room” he said and hit a door and walked away. I got into the room and found a very little room with one mirror and one chair with some outfits thrown on it. Ah well, at least I was gonna be in a music video!! I took my coat of and locked the door.

“Good, your done, looking lovely by the way…” “Thankyou” “Yea, but just in the wrong time, cause we now have lunch, but that will give you the opportunity to meet the band before we’re shooting you’re scenes” the same man said. I guess that he had to make sure that I was on the right place on the right time… and I didn’t even know his name. “Here you can lunch, get what you want, it’s all self serves, okay?” “Sure” I said and took a sandwich. “Ah, there they are” he said and looked at the door. I turned around and saw them enter. “I’ll introduce you to the band members, common” he said and walked towards them. I just followed him around everywhere. “Lads, this is the lovely lady that you will ‘be in love with’ in your video” he said and they all looked at me. Okay, this is kinda embarrassing, but I didn’t know who was who. I mean, I wasn’t a fan of McFly, my best friend was!! She kept talking about them all the time, so I knew their names, but I didn’t knew which face belonged to the names. “Hi, I’m ” “Well Hello” one guy said and shook my hand. A guy smiled and also shook my hand. He didn’t say anything, kinda shy I guess. The other blonde one was looking at the first guy who shook my hand. “Dude, are you crazy? She’s probably very nervous and stuff and you just… flirt with her” he said and the other lads laughed. “What? I wasn’t flirting!!” “…and I am not nervous” I said. This made them all look at me. “Oh my god, they do exist!! Fans that talk back!! OH MY GOD” the other lad said. Okay, four lads, 3 with brown hair and one blonde. “…and I am not a fan” I said. The man that I was following around looked at me. “Oh yea, that’s true, the fan girl couldn’t come, had something else, so I asked Richard if he could get us a pretty girl” the man said. “Ah, well, Richard did a very good job then” the first boy said. “ right?” the blonde one said. I nodded. “Sounds familiar” he said and thought for a second. “Richard is my uncle” I said. Tom looked at me as if he just found out why he recognized my name. “Yea, he always says that I’m his favourite cousin blabla” I said and the man laughed. “Yea, that’s true, when I asked him if he could take care of a pretty girl he immediately showed a picture of you that he carries in his wallet” he man laughed. “Oooh, so you’re the girl in his wallet!!” the guy said who looked a little bit shy at the beginning. “Yea, that’s me” I smiled. “He’s just so proud of his cousin being a model blabla, and because he doesn’t have children himself he just gives me loads of attention” I said and the guys laughed. “Well, he’s walking around here somewhere” the man next to me said and looked around. “I am sorry, but I have no idea what all your names are” I said kinda embarrassed pointing at the lads. One lad almost choked in his sandwich. “Whauw… are you from mars?” one boy asked. “Ah, she’s just not a fan, that’s okay” the first lad said and smiled. “I’m Danny” “and I’m Tom” the blonde one said. “And that’s Dougie and-” “I am Harry, nice to meet you” he said and shook my hand again. “Guys, we are quickly gonna do a scene because TOTP is coming in like, 2 minutes” another man said and the lads all walked away. “Wait, aint you coming?” “Well… am I aloud?” “Of course!! You are in this scene!!” Harry said and laughed. I laughed with him and followed them. “This is the second one” Tom told me. “Okay, so this is the one where I am like, flirting with all of you in my bikini?” I asked. Dougie, I believe that that was the shy one, grinned. I guess he’s not as shy as he looked at the beginning. “Yea that’s the one” he said with a cheeky grin across his face. “There’s Richard” Harry said. “Ah, there’s my angel” I heard somebody say and I turned around to see Richard walking towards me, ready to give me a hug. “Uncle Richard” I said smiling. “Didn’t I tell you she’s pretty?” Richard said to the lads. They all gave sum weak smiles and stuff. “I’ve heard that you talk about me a lot, stop it” I said and smiled which made Richard laugh. “Ready for ya first bikini scene?” he asked me. “Yea, I’ve done loads of bikini photo shoots so I don’t think that it’ll be a problem at all” I said. Now Dougie made big eyes and his grin grew. “Watch out, those guys really like summergirls” “Du’h, that’s why we wrote a song about it” Danny explained and looked at Richard as if he was crazy. “Well, good luck, I have to go again, business is calling me” he said and hugged me again and left.

Okay, there I was, dancing on a ‘beach’ in a blue bikini, pretending it to be very hot and tropical. Me with my tanned skin and white laugh, had to make it look like I was sexy and those guys were falling for me. First the whole thing got filmed all together, which was pretty funny cause the lads were lip sticking and all being shocked when they saw me and stuff. Then the close ups came. First they wanted to film me from bottom to top and then some nice shoots of my face. For the vacation feeling, I had a pink flower in my hair, pink eye shadow with like, loads of mascara, which you couldn’t see actually. But that was the point, cause you know, it’s summer!! Then the lads came. When I was doing my close ups I already saw Reggie talking into a mic, pointing at me and stuff. I just tried to ignore it, but now I was done he rushed over to me. “Let us talk to the summergirl of McFly” he said and I smiled. “So, what’s it like to work with McFly?” “Oh, they are very nice!! Very friendly and they just, say what they think” I said and smiled. “…and who are you” Reggie said staring at me. I laughed. “I am , Richards’s cousin, he’s McFly’s tourmanager who also works at videoshoots and stuff so…” “So, you’re just a lucky, beautiful girl” he said to me with a funny look on his face and I laughed. “Yes, I am” I said and he laughed. “Oh, Danny’s done, DANNY, over here!!” Reggie waved Danny to come over. “How’s Danny in real life?” he asked me quickly before Danny could hear what we were talking about. “Oh he’s a real flirt. I only know him for like.. Half an hour and he has already tried loads of things to get my attention” I said with a very serious look on my face. “Really?” “Yea, he’s a real player, girls” I said looking in the camera. Reggie joined me looking into the camera and said “You hear that girls, he’s a player” he said and I giggled. “Who’s a player?” Danny said and joined the conversation. “I am” Reggie quickly said. “Yes, he really is, with all those chat up lines” I joined Reggie and we both looked at Danny. “Dude, you’re already spoken for, shut up” he said and laughed. “So, how are you doing?” Reggie asked. “Fine, Great actually, this is our second day of our video shoot of our new single ‘Ultraviolet’ and every thing is going just fine” he said and nodded. Reggie nodded as if he was very interested and then bend over to whisper something in Danny’s ear. I heard everything, so it wasn’t really that secret. “What about ur summergirl?” “Ah, amazing” I heard Danny say. They both looked at me. “What?” “Nothing” Reggie said and Danny laughed.

“Okay, Now the last scene where you say goodbye to all the lads on the airport” the man who I have been following said. “Next outfit then?” “Yea” he said and pointed to my dressing room. “Sure” I said and walked away. When I entered my dressingroom I jumped. Reggie and his camera crew where in my very little dressingroom, writing something on the mirror with my lipstick. “What are you doing here?” “Oh, hello…” he said and tried to hide what was written on the mirror. “Okay, the camera’s off, I thought that this would be a good place for us to hold a mini interview for top of the pops if that’s okay with you” “Yea, but, why do you have to sneak into my dressingroom and write stuff on the mirror with lipstick?” I asked confused. “Ah common, we need to keep it funny, otherwise people wont watch our show, so you, pretend to know McFly for a little longer so that we can talk about them aaaand, don’t worry about the mirror” he said. “Okay, 4, 3 …” “Here we are with…” “ ” “Right, , the summergirl of McFly. Do you know how many jealous girls are now sitting in front of their TV, dreaming of being you?” “Uh… to be honest, no” I said and Reggie looked confused at me. “No seriously, I don’t, I knew that they were a band and that my best friend is a huge fan of them… but I didn’t even knew their names when I met them” I said. “What a shame” Reggie said as if I just robbed a bank of something. “Yea I know, sorry” I said and Reggie laughed. “So… Let’s talk McFly, any cheeky stuff about them to tell?” he said and held the mic in front of my mouth. “They are all afraid of girls” I made up. “They really are, when they met me they were all like stuttering and turning red and stuff, only Danny was like ‘How You Doin?’” I said, doing my Joey (Friends) impression. Reggie laughed. “Really?” “No, not really, only Dougie was kinda shy at the beginning, but when he heard that I was gonna be in my bikini he was like ‘yeaaaaa’ with a huge grin on his face” I said and Reggie nodded. “But, I need to get changed for my next scene” “What’s it about?” “It’s the last scene… and that’s all I can say” I said. “Ah common, one little hint?” I begged me. I thought for a sec. “…Every summer has an end” I said with my eyes a little closed. “Oeehh” Reggie said and I laughed. “Now, get out, I have to get changed” and with that I pushed them out of my dressingroom.

“Do we also have to kiss when we say goodbye to her?” asked the director. “What the hell are you doing? You are not gonna kiss here dude” said. “Hug, Kisses, don’t care, make it look real” the director said. “omg, she’ll be so scared of you , I am only gonna hug” said and walked away. “Yea me too” said, following Tom. “What’s wrong with a kiss?!” yelled after them. Then he looked at . “I dunno men… I think I’m gonna go for kiss on the cheek and a hug…” “What’s wrong with a kiss?” “ehh… she only knows you for like… 2 hours” said and then I entered. “Okay, you all deside how you’re gonna say goodbye to each other while I go take a quick wee” the director said and ran of. “, ” yelled and waved for the lads to come. “Don’t be afraid , I am only gonna look very sad and hug you” said, trying to be very cool. “Uhm, okay, that’s fine” “Me too” said. “I’m not a good actor anyway” he said and smiled. “Okay, and you two?” I asked and . “What’s wrong with a kiss?” “I only do kiss on the cheek” “Common, we have to make it look real, don’t we?” “yea, Kiss is okay” I said and walked to a mirror, checking if my make-up was still okay. In the mirror, I saw trying to look cool and shake his head.

“Okay, ready? , don’t forget to move your lips with the music” the director said. We were stood facing each other, holding both of our hands, looking into each others eyes. had to be very sad, and I just had to be like, y’kno “It’ll be okay, you’ll get over me” and hug him blabla. The music started and we started acting. Right when ‘sung’ “The nights go on and on” for the last time he kissed me full on my mouth. and, OMG, that was a real tear rolling down his cheek. “CUT, good job guys, now, ’s part” he said and walked away and came. The bags quickly got changed and the music started again. is such a good actor. He was looking down, being sad and stuff and when I lifted his head as in ‘don’t cry’ he started crying and hugged me. When he pulled back he kissed me on my cheek and I smiled. “CUT, going good, going good, next lad” he said. Now it was . stood in front of me and I put my arms around his waist, making it look like we were really saying goodbye to each other, and he started giggling. “Sorry, sorry” he said and cleared his throat. He tried to look sad but started giggling again. “Yea, I’m sorry guys, I can’t look fake sad… can’t I just, say goodbye with a smile, as in.. you know, thanks for the great times we had together or something?” “As long it looks real” the director said. 3 seconds later the music stared and he gave me a cute little smile and moved his mouth, as if he was saying cute little things to me. I laughed and he hugged my tight. Then he started laughing again. “CUT, okay, do that again” “Argh, I suck at this” said. “Shht, we were on vacation, in Spain, had a long romantic time together with loads of fun, and now we’re both going home, happy to go home, but sad to say goodbye okay?” I said. listened to every word I said and nodded. “Okay, 4 3 2...” the music started and now he did everything perfect. With everything went just fine, but we had to do it 3 times because made it look like he was happy to leave me. Every time he got the same critique. “You’re sad and I’m not seeing it ” but in the end it all looked great. “It’s a wrap!!” and everybody clapped their hands. “You are all getting invitations about the sneak first preview of the video” the director said and everybody cleaned up their stuff. I went home by subway, feeling great. I was gonna be on TOPT and in the new video of McFly, which seemed to be very popular and there was also a sneak preview!!

“Okay, everybody quiet” a man said and the lights went of. The screen was still black but the music started slowly. Then you saw , sitting on the beach, playing his guitar. building sandcastles and and both sunbathing. In between the beach scenes you saw McFly play in a nightclub and stuff, really cool, with loads of dancing people and stuff. Then the beach scenes. Me sunbathing, me walking out of the sea, me dancing on the beach with sum other people and McFly, checking me out from the bushes and then one by one, trying to impress me. Loads of people were laughing and making fun of the lads and stuff. And at the end you saw me saying goodbye to all the lads, one by one. Then something, what I didn’t expect, happened. They zoomed in on the kiss that I and shared. Some people went like ‘awww’. Luckily I was sitting in the front so that I wouldn’t see everybody looking at me. Then when the music died away you saw me walking into the gate and the lads all, next to each other walk away with their bags and stuff. An amazing video, and an amazing experience, something to never forget.
