To anyone who may be reading this,
I would like to welcome you to my site. If you don't already know what this site is about, let me catch you up. I made this website almost 2 years ago as I was preparing to embark on a journey of a lifetime!
I felt God tugging on my heart to go on a mission trip with Adventures In Missions called The World Race. The World Race is an 11 month mission trip where you visit 11 countries around the globe and are involved in all sorts of ministry opportunities. And though The World Race isn't too costly for all the traveling you do, I just had no way of paying it. So, I made this website to help spread the word that I was in need of help; not just financially, nut through prayer and encouragement as well.
Well, I got to go on the race! Thank you for all your prayers, support and encouragement! I really couldn't have done it without you!
On the race, God taught me a lot. He taught me who He is and also who I am. It never dawned on me that I didn't know the real me, but I was caught up in a bunch of lies that Satan threw at me my whole life and God freed me from those lies and embraced me in His arms this year as He whispered His simple truths to me. It was amazing! Anyway, if you want to know more about my adventure, you can read up here.
Now, the point as to why I am keeping this site up. First, to be an encouragement to others deciding whether to go on the mission field or not (if God's really tugging at your heart, do it! It will be one of the best decisions you make in your life... and if you are looking for something like The World Race, I strongly recommend AIM).
Second, to ask for your continual prayer. I also learned on this race how much I really do want to work with children and how God has gifted me in this area. I want to make a difference in the lives of children. I want to leave a legacy! A legacy that says, "She lived to serve as Christ serves His bride." So, I have decided to start a "not-for profit" organization that helps fatherless/motherless youth find their identity in Christ.

Dear Family and Friends,
I hope this letter finds you well! I’m writing to share with you an exciting opportunity that I will be participating in this upcoming year and to ask you to consider being a part of it through prayer and financial support.
I am going on a yearlong mission trip around the world with Adventures In Missions (AIM), is an interdenominational missions organization that focuses on discipling. AIM emphasizes prayer and relationships in their work among the poor. In the 17 years since they were established, they have taken 65,000 people to the mission field, some for a year or longer. Through their 14 bases around the world, they have year-round ministry to places where “the least of these” are found. AIM believes that by giving people the opportunity to hold orphans, bring hope to the hopeless, and pray for the sick, lives are transformed. AIM seeks to disciple as Jesus did – their vision is that God would use us to raise up a generation of radically committed disciples of Jesus Christ!
I will be partnering with AIM through The World Race. I will go to 11 countries in 11 months. I will be able to join in the adventures, minister to people, learn to live in a community of other believers and grow in my spiritual walk. I will have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ through service work and other such things. There are three facets that go along with the trip; first, there is the race where we will race against time and other teams, second, there is cultural training and third, there is ministry where I will get the opportunity to show Christ love by reaching out to the poor, orphans, widows and all those who are in search of hope. I am excited to be given the honor of being God’s hands and feet in places of great need!
I would like to invite you to be a part of what God has called me to do. Would you prayerfully consider supporting me for this mission trip? I need to raise $15,000 by December 2008 in order to go. I would consider it a privilege to have you on my team for this exciting opportunity, and I believe the Lord will bless us both through this experience.
