3D Stereo pair. Rather a fine passage running inside the castle walls, worthy of Tomb-Raider. Would have liked to explore it!
OK, I was a little careless about lining up the two images vertically, which makes this pair a little harder to get into. But my eyes actually compensate for that, and looking at the way the images are shifted at the edges to line up the passages into a stereo image, I am amazed how the eyes adjust for these distortions. And then the resulting passage has real depth!
Amazing textures in these old stones. (I used this little room to slip on some long jeans for our visit to the Mosque.)
A large room in the tower. Can't remember any more about it.
View from the battlements over the port.
Looking inland, a view of the Mosque (was St Nicholas Cathedral) to the left, and the remains of St George of the Latins to the right.
The Mosque (St Nicholas Cathedral)
Lala Mustafa Mosque. Looks like a Cathedral!
Inside Lala Mustafa Mosque. First impressions - very light, airy, and uncluttered. The carpet feels soft and luxurious underfoot - which I think has a calming, de-stressing effect.
The Adoration of Vicky? Or...?
The intrepid party learning all about the Mosque.
