Greater Cincinnati Philatelic Society

     SYNCOPATED  PERFS

    The Greater Cincinnati Philatelic Society (GCPS) publishes a bi-monthly newsletter, Syncopated Perfs, which is mailed to the membership about five days before the Second Monday meeting of odd numbered months, ie: January, March, May, July, September and November.

     A typical issue contains a "Coming Events" box on the front page which has a listing of all known stamp related events within a one hundred mile radius of Cincinnati.  Also on the first page is a story about the current 'hot' topic, be it a party, a meeting or some important news.

     The second page contains the masthead with a list of officers and their contact information.  Also on page two is a column by the editor covering a hodge-podge of "Philosophical Ponderings" related to various stamp topics, mostly dealing with club matters.

     Now and then, additional pages are warranted, but that does not happen very often.
