About [GBTW] Clan:
Started on Sunday, February 18, 2007, [GBTW] is a clan for three types of people. Those who fight, those who want to fight, and those who just want to hang out in a castle. New members are always welcome, and occasionally, we will fight other clans, just for the hell of it.
The [GBTW] SkullTag server is hosted from a crappy little 399.12MHz Gateway in Falco's basement, so don't complain about Lag. (Because, through the wonders of technology, there is none!)
Who started [GBTW] ?
Why, Falco and Steeb did, of course! One day, (i think it was wednesday, 2 weeks before the clan started) Steeb and Falco, 2 friends with superpowers, decided to start up their own clan. Steeb and Falco have been playing Skulltag for at least awhile, with roots in Doom over LAN in P's class. Falco made Arena maps for Doom 1 and 2, and the class would play them. These days, the both of them make maps for various SkullTag projects over the IdeSE.
What does [GBTW] stand for?
Well, good story behind that. The day Falco and Steeb decided (jokingly at first, but now look) to start a clan of their own, the following conversation occured: (paraphrased)
Steeb: We need a name.
Falco: Yeah, any ideas?
Steeb: Idk, just throw some stuff out there, maybe we'll think of something...
Falco: Oh, uhh... hmm... Giraffe!
Falco: Banana!
Falco: Tuesday!
Steeb: Ahahaha
Falco: GBT. Not good enough, we need a descriptor, like Killers, or Soldiers...
Falco: Warriors.
Steeb: Giraffe Banana Tuesday Warriors...
Falco: That's it, man. That's our clan.
... Yup, thats how it started. But now, [GBTW] doesnt stand for anything. it's whatever you want it to be. Perhaps Grand BattleToaster Warriors... or maybe Green Blue Tan White. Your call.
