Mandatory Parents Meeting:
Want to find out what we are doing this year? Have questions about the music department? Then make sure you mark your calendar for the first meeting of the year, Tuesday, September 2, 2009 at 6 p.m. in the GBHS Auditorium. This is a MANDATORY meeting for all band, color guard, orchestra, and chorus parents.
Golf Tournament:
Calling all golf enthusiasts. There are still openings for the first annual GBHS Golf Tournament on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 1pm. Food, prizes, and great golfing. Register NOW while there is still space!!!
Show Your School Spirit:

TEAM Training:
TEAM training for August, September, and October has been released. If you are NOT TEAM trained and wish to work at the Raven's concession stand, register NOW for an upcoming class. You MUST be TEAM trained before you can work at our stand. The class is only about 2 hours. Click HERE for more details and registration information.
Mandatory Fees Due:
Half of the Mandatory Fees were due on Friday, August 15, 2008. Please make sure you submit your payment as quickly as possible. If you are unable to pay your fees, please contact Mr. McMahan or Jeff Benson.

Student Leadership Workshop:
Lead by Tim Lautzenheiser at Severna Park High School on Tuesday September 30 from 4:30pm - 7:00pm. Registration fee is $30.00 per student. For more information, Click HERE.
Macy's Great American Marching Band:
Have you ever dreamed of marching in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or leading Santa in as he officially kicks off the start of the holiday season? Well, now is your chance. Tryouts are being held for band students to join the Great American Marching Band that leads Santa in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. This band honors America's outstanding High School musicians and Color Guard from all 50 states. Application submission deadlines are fast approaching so don't miss out.
