Gawthorpe Foresters was founded on 1st January 1979, the

founding members were Peter Price, Noreen

Price, David Price,Keith Nelson, Maureen Nelson, Philip

Nelson, Brian Eastwood, Julie Eastwood, David

Eastwood, Peter Peak.

We shot at Gawthorpe Hall, Padiham, pictured below.

We shot there until September 1983, from there we

moved to our current location of Ravens Clough wood.

We currently have around forty members and these have a

varying range of ages, but fun is had by all.

We also currently set out two shoots per year our charity

shoot and our annual open shoot.

We can guarentee that our shoots are the best shoots ever.
