Yoga Classes

Every Tuesday, a Women's Yoga Class will be held from 5:30 to 6:30pm. These classes are open to the community, please come and share with us.
 
Yoga is an approach to physical and spiritual health in an effort to have strong, healthy bodies. This class is designed to improve your health, performance and mental acuity by further developing your current level of fitness. It blends balance, strength, flexibility, and power in a fitness format, thus reducing the risk of injury and aids in the recovery of ailments such as stress, lower back pain and tension. Using the Yogafit style, we provide instruction that is safe, well-rounded and inclusive of a wide variety of participants and levels.

We desire to communicate the essence of breathing in through the nose and out through the nose; feeling grounded and strong; listening to the body and knowing when you need to rest; letting go of all judgements, competition and expectations; and staying in the present moment.

 We will be using the YogaFit Method which focuses on more relaxing, more encouraging, more explanations with less complex transitions, more warms-up and deep stretching. Our classes involve linking several poses together to create greater strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. Classes are created that effectively work all parts of the body equally.
