THE GATE of Kinston

The GATE Community Development Center is a 7,000 square foot facility, developed in May of 2008, nestled in the town of Kinston, North Carolina, that seeks to offer the love of Christ to youth in the Lenoir County Community. The GATE serves as a place of strength and safety with a welcoming non-threatening environment, perfect for the nurturing of today's youth. Our facility includes:

    ◊ computer lab with full internet access and a flat screen TV & DVD

     ◊ conference room available for small group sessions

     ◊ video game room with two flat screens with Playstation 3's

     ◊ air hockey machine, table tennis, four square and a foosball game

     ◊ roomy stage with drum sets, a keyboard, and guitar availability

     ◊ state of the art digital surround sound system

     ◊ nintendo Wii with projection on cinema-style screen

Our mission is to offer hope for a future to the youth of Lenoir County through Christian values and principles.

We are called to provide exceptional facilities, faith-based counseling and educational opportunities that will counter cultures of violence, hopelessness, neglect, poverty and abuse with the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
