Motorola V998(V3688)
Needed tools:
- A set of assembly tools with five pieces (chart a show),
- chart b show the use for all tools.

Item noted and explanation :
- Owing to V998 series mobile was assumed with plastic buckle, no mechanical fixed bolt, so we must use professional tools showing in chart a,
- Don't exert your strength hardly when topping out signal light shield with tool B, and avoid inner LED pulled off,
- must point at the position of buckle when using tool D, tool E, the position for the plastic buckle of V998 series mobile are show in chart b.

- .Turn on button when pressing back cover of battery, and take out back cover.


- Rotate antenna and put it out with tool A according to chart show.
- Return tool B to orignal position for battery.

- Top out signal light guide using thimble of tool B.

- Pull out signal light guide with tool C.

- Poke four plastic buckle of back cover with tool D or tool E.

- Loosen cable socket clip before taking out the cable head of LCD.

- Draw out cable with plier, be careful not to remove it bendy, and avoid breaking circuity.


- Heat up front board (button board) with fanner, so that remove front board easily.


- Take out subassembly of LCD and headphones.

- Pull out cable slowly and then apart front panel.

- Take out rotating axes with plier.

- Use tool D or tool E to remove plastic buckle of the upper and lower cover.
- Use tool D or tool E to apart four plastic buckle of the upper cover, and then take out the upper cover
- Take apart the subassembly of LCD and headphones

- Unsolder LCD panel's copper filmand then apart them with plier.

- Heat up LCD with fanner. (Note proper temperature).
- Loosen three plastic buckle of LCD.

- Take out the subassembly of LCD.


Motorola L2000

Item noted and explanation :
- Be careful to screw under "MOTOROLA" label when take apart the screw,
- use conductor glue to connect LCD panel with main PWB, be careful to keep tools and desk clean and don't let conductor glue smeary.
- Take out back cover of batter and then take out battery.

- Heat up " MOTOROLA" label on the top of back cover with fanner then take out with knife sheet (plier) for further use.

- Unscrew two bolts under "MOTOROLA" label with T6 X50mm or A5 screwdriver.

- Unscrew four bolts of the middle and lower of back cover with T6 X 50mm or A5 screwdriver.



- Push off four buckles of LCD with right fore finger and take out the subassembly of LCD.
- Poke the plastic frame of conductor slice in LCD subassembly.

- Take out conductor frame before off loading LCD.

- Loosen LCD button on PCB.

- Turn out LCD IC upwards to dismantle FPC.

- Loosen LCD FPC fastener to take out FPC head, then take out LCD IC.

- Note the bolt which is under the rubber on the top of back cover,
- Due to A6188 LCD is assembled with keyboard together, using touch button, and don't take apart the subassembly of LCD optionally.
- Press lock backle of back cover of battery, and pull out back cover of battery.

- Take out the battery according to chart show.

- Loosen the two bolts which are in the lower of back cover with T6 x 50mm screwdriver.
- Loosen bolt which is hided in the hole with T6X 50mm screwdriver. Take out two dustproof rubber covers which are sticked on the upper of back cover with plier.

- Poke the connecting plug of headphones with plier.

- Poke cable of LCD and remove it with 2.5 X 50mm straight screwdriver.
- Loosen the two bolts which fix the main PWB with T6 X 50mm screwdriver.


- Take out the disassembly of LCD.

- Taking apart the disassembly of upper panel according to chart show.

How to do this:
- deatach battery
- remove two screw with screwdriver TORX-6 that are in bottom part of phone (one in left and second in right corner of phone)
- desolder antenna with pointer (you may pull it form right of left side but be cerfull to not demage clips)
- remove next two screws that were under antena and use pointer to pull up metal cover (pull it up near SIM slot). Remove it.
- you may now see PCB (Printed Circuit Board) of phone

- Slide battery and take it out when pressing lock buckle for battery.
- Unscrew four fixed bolts for back cover with T6X50mm or A5 screwdriver.

- Rotate antenna and pull it out.

- Apart the top plastic buckle for mobile with professional plier.

- Apart plastic buckle for the middle of main body with plastic crowbar, and remove the front cover.

- Unscrew two fixed bolts on the top of main board with T6 X 50mm screwdriver.

- Head up LCD with fanner, notice that the temperature can't be too high, avoid breaking LCD.

- Poke LCD with professional crowbar(start from the top of LCD).

- Apart the end of LCD with plier.

- Unscrew two fixed bolts under the LCD with T6X50mm screwdriver.


- Poke cable plug for keyboard.

- Draw out cable head from inner socket of main PWB cable.

- Apart six plastic buckles for front and back cover, and remove back cover.


- Poke plastic buckles of headphones subassembly.

- Take out headphones subassembly.

- Apart six plastic buckles of the front and back cover.


- Slide key board to right direction.

- one T6X50mm or A5 cross screwdriver,
- one straight plier or bend spade,
- one fanner.
Item noted and explanation :
- Note fixed bolt under the guarantee label.
- Must keep dustproof cover both for antenna and earphone socket when taking apart.
- All parts with mucilage glue such as LCD, headphone should be heated up with fanner firstly and then remove them.
- Press lock buckle of battery and pull out the battery.

- Rotate antenna, and pull it out.

- Unscrew four fixed bolts with T6 x 50mm or A5 screwdriver.

- Remove back cover according to chart show.
- Pull of shield cable fo LCDr with solder.

- Then separate shield cable and main PWB with plier.


- Take out the clapboard between main PWB and front panel.

- Take out shield cable end between LCD and front panel with plier.

- Poke cable card of LCD with plier.


- Top apart the axes bolt of upper and lower cover.and push out the front cover with thumb.

- Separate front panel and the upper and lower cover.

- Pull out LCD cable according to chart show.
- Unscrew two pieces of fixed bolt of the upper and lower cover with R 2.0 X 50mm screwdriver.
- Push out the upper cover according to chart show.
- Take out the up per cover.

- Heat up the back of display screen with fanner.

NOTE: Temperature can't be too high . Avoiding cover distortion.
- Take out headphone with plier.

- Take out vibrator with plier.

- Remove the LCD, and take out of the cable in the axes of lower cover.

A288 is one of current popular top grade mobiles, be careful when taking apart and avoid breaking the delicate over and inner main PWB done to the cover is delicate ..
How to:
First: Take out battery, then see four black cross bolts in back cover(show above) , for a new mobile one bolt covered by guarantee label, heat up the label with fanner firsthand slice if off gently and flatly for further use. Avoiding guarantee label broken when disassembling.

Later You must:
- According to direction shown circumrotate and take off antenna.

- Use C2.0x50mm cross screwdriver loosen the fixed screw.

- Take off the lower part according the chart shown.

- Take off the upper part of back cover.due to two plastic lock clip in it.exert your strength equably, the right thumb must be against the upper part.

- Use plier to take off the subassembly of display screen and soft cable connecting PWB.

- Use plier to take off connecting socket soft cable head between key board and main PWB.

- Hold the outer connecting socket of main PWB,exert your strenght up gently.and take off main PWB.
Next:
- Take out of the key board, be carefu don't bend soft cable connector avo d breaking.

- Must take off plastic side key.

- Take out side key touch point.

Disassembling the upper and lower cover (The subassembly of display screen) .
- Pull apart un-dry glue on the cable socket which is on the upper of front panel with plier.

- Take out axes bolt of the lower and upper cover with C2.OX 50mm and 02.OX 50mm.
- Pull out the upper and lower ocver assembly.note that fish up cable plug from cable socket.
- With fanner heat up the two holes which is under the big display screen of lower cover.
- Prize up the white un-dry glue paper with knife sheet and keep for use.
- Loosen two fixed screws with C2.0X50mm specification cross screwdriver.

- Heat up telephone receiver of the lower cover with fanner.

- Prize up the cover of headphone with crowbar(or knife sheet),be careful when you exert your strenqth,not let cover break.
- Loosen two fixed screws with R2.OX50mm specification cross screwdriver.
- Remove the middle plastic buckle of lower cover,
- take apart the lower and upper cover.
- Heat up the subassembly of display screen with fanner,
- prize up vibrator, headphone, button battery and so on.

Take off the subassembly of display screen,and the work has been finished.

First:

- Separate the join between the upper and lower cover and front panel.
- Unscrew two fixed screws of the upper and lower cover.
- Push out the upper cover.

- Heat up subassembly of display screen with fanner and take it out.
