Northern Illinois Gathering!!

OK Folks, here we go.

Some of you have been staying on top of things at the Gun Culture Forum and the

Illinois Patriot's Network and you know that a very important meeting took place in

Southern IL regarding KISSATA, ILSTM, and the general welfare of Illinois.

I have chosen a weekend for the Northern IL Meeting.

Sunday August 24th at Buffalo Rock State Park near Ottawa IL

Buffalo Rock State Park

Hopefully this location should be fair, as it is about equal east to west and from
Rockford area south. I also choose this location because I thought it would be less
crowed compared to Starved rock State Park.

Agenda

Get to know each other and discuss KISSATA, and all things related to the defense of Illinois.
Hopefully we will all walk away on the same page and we will be able to begin building a
worthwhile network in IL.

There will be no firearms at this meeting and no training. And certainly do not bring anything
that would be illegal to possess in a State Park in Illinois, USE YOUR HEAD!!!

Bring a notebook!!!!! I will have a few KISSATA Homeland Defense Manuals on hand and some
Rifleman Guides, and a grill to cook on. I have not been to this park before, but I beleive any
camping available is primitive with no water or electric, so come prepared, and dress for the
weather.

Despite Northern Illinois being in the title, this is wide open to all like minded individuals who
beleive in the KISSATA concept, and preparing for emergencies in their State, and would like to
attend.

KISSATA

2008 Gathering Of The Tribes

Ladies and germs, I am proud to announce.......

This year's Official GOTT (Gathering Of The Tribes) will be held June 6-8th, 2008, same location as last year.

If you are interested in attending, send an email to
kissatahq@yahoo.com , with GOTT08 in the subject line, with the following information:

First name and radio call sign or "handle". (Charlie Kilo Six, X-Ray, Blackfly, etc.)

How many people will be in your party.

As time goes by, I will send out group emails with location coordinates, radio freqs, rules and regulations, etc.

Before you email, be aware that the County Sheriff will be aware of the event, exact location and time, same as last year. If that is a problem for you, do not attend. NO secret squirrels allowed! This is not the GOTS. (Gathering Of The Squirrels) (as if Squirrels could openly gather!)

The Gathering of the Tribes is not a FTX. It is a relaxed face to face meeting of KISSATA members from around the state, neighboring states, and in some cases other various locations throughout the United States. Simply a camp-out where we can meet, greet, and get to know each other better. The 2007 GOTT was a big success, even though Skully wound up at the Care Bear's yearly meet & greet campout by mistake. What a bonehead.

Further information and details will be in the group emails.

Charlie Kilo Six, out.

Don't Forget to buy atleast 100 rounds of ammo

4th Annual National Ammo Day.

The 2006 edition of Kim du Toit's National Ammo Day is again November 19 (or the week thereof). Last year the guys at AR15.com all attempted to make their Ammo Day purchases at their local Walmarts at precisely 3:30PM CST. Over 1,400 members stated that they would join in. The final tally reported that we bought
103,135 rounds that day, and that was just AR15.com members. Other gun boards, bloggers, and readers joined in, too.

Join us again, won't you? On or near Nov. 19, buy at least 100 rounds of ammo from any source; local gun shop, big-box store, or mail-order.
