Chad's Game Show Tape Trading

Game show tape trading is a hobby of mine. I am trying to improve my collection (aren't we all?). Want an episode of mine? Have a collection of your own? Trade with me!

My #1 policy is very simple: the golden rule. Treat  others as you would have them treat you. If you can follow that, you should be able to follow my other policies.

I will not trade for blank tapes. That's just a waste of time and money. I don't have to pay the $5+ for shipping when I could get some from Wal-Mart at $1.25 each.

I will NEVER trade for money. That's not only sleazy, but it's punishable by law. If you offer to trade for money, you will not receive a reply, you will be blacklisted, and I will warn other traders about you.

If you send me an e-mail, and you are not requesting money or blank tapes, I will always try get back to you, even if you don't have anything I want.

If an episode you have has unusually bad video or audio at points or if it is missing some segments, let me know! I will do the same for you. I don't like to find out these things when trade is over and it's too late.

I use brand new tapes for all my trades. I hope you will do the same.

At this time, I cannot burn DVDs. I can trade in VHS, but not DVD. If you are willing to trade a DVD for a VHS, that's great, but I will understand perfectly if you would prefer to trade a VHS for a VHS.

Usually, I trade 1:1 (If I want x hours of shows from your collection, I will let you have x hours of stuff from my collection). The exception you have something on my wishlist. Depending on how much I want it, I may give you more.

I will usually use Priorty Mail, and I will prefer you do the same. If you don't want to use Priorty, tell me what you will use and I will use the same. Fair deal.

I won't trade for less than 2 hours of content. I don't want to have to pay the Priorty Mail shipping for a mere hour of footage.

My wishlist is located here. These shows are ones I really want. If you have something on here in your collection, I may give you more than the standard 1:1 ratio. I do not promise I will.
