We started showing Murphy in 2002 when he was 11 months old.
Our first show, was an open show at Merseyside, well we walked in being pretty nervous having not entered a dog show before and we hadn't got a clue what to do.
We looked around and everybody had their dogs in crates and people were wearing badges for their number to go in the ring
we had no crate no badge you can imagine how we felt... yes very embarrassed
A lady came over to speak to us and said what a lovely red dog you have, she must have known we hadn't done this before, she was very helpful and offered to show Murphy for us. I was so pleased because I was so nervous.
Murphy won his puppy class and also went on to win Best Puppy in show.
We were over the moon and thanked this lady very much for showing Murphy for us.
At that time we didn't even know this ladys name, at the end of the show this lady told us her name and wrote her telephone number down, this lady was Wynny Southworth.
Wynny was very helpful and gave us lots of help and advice on what to get and what class to place Murphy in.
We will never forget that lady at Merseyside.
That was the start of our show world, and now we love going to the shows and showing our boy Murphy, win or lose.
We have been campaigning Murphy for four and a half years now, Murphy has gained his Stud Book Number and we are so proud of what he has achieved.
We have now retired Murphy from the showscene and now we are Campaigning his Daughter Jade.
Jade has attended only a few shows and we are very proud of her, she has Qualified for Crufts for 2008,
Jade has been been doing very well in the shows in 2008, she has qualified 13 times for Crufts 2009 we are so proud of her.
Jade's brother Bruno has also been campaigning in the showscene and he has also Qualified for Crufts for 2008 also 2009
And in 2008 Jade's other brother Frankie is going to enter into the showscene.
Frankie did enter the showscene and was placed at all the shows he attended, but unfortunatly Danny ,frankie's new daddy didn't like the showscene and has decided not to take Fankie any more.
We can't wait to see Murphy's and Amber's pup out there trying to do as well as their daddy Murphy. We wish them all the very best in 2008.
