What is Associated Content :
Associated Content is a place where you can write articles and submit them for money. Associated Content offers a way for writers to make money at home while working in their spare time. They are a company that is ran online and does not require that you have any type of education.
How much can I earn:
The earnings are usually between $3 to $20 per article. Every now and again they off competitions and incentives so that the writers can earn even more money. The news articles offer a flat rate of $5 per content peice. The articles that they publish have to be a minimum of 400 words, which is about a page long. They have also started up a performance bonus which is where they pay you each time that a person views your content. The minimum payout for the performance bonus is only $15. There is no minimum payout for articles that are written. The money is put into your paypal account within 3-5 days and will usually take about 3-14 days for them to except an article, depending on how busy they are. The performance bonus will be added to your account on the first of the following month, presuming that you met the minimum requirements. The performance bonus and the pay per article, gives you two ways to get paid by Associated Content .
How do I sign up:
To sign up, go to Associated Content and enter your information. At this time they will only except people from the United States. Once you sign up, you can start submitting your articles for money. I would also recommend that you take a look at other articles that are written so that it will give you an idea of what they are looking for. You will also need to set up your profile so that you can enter your paypal information on it.
What happens after I sign up:
Once you sign up and start submitting articles and earning your money, you will start to build yourself up. They also have widgets that will allow you to post your content on your site, myspace, or blog so that others can view your work.
How many articles can I write:
Associated Content does not have a limit on articles that you can write. Feel free to write as much as you like. Be aware though, all of your articles may not be excepted. If the article is not excepted for pay, you will have a few options. Here are some of those options: redo the article and resubmit it, do not sell it to them, or resubmit it for free and let it be paid for by the performance bonus.
If I have resubmited an article and they still do not want to pay me, I resubmit it for free because i know that with the performance bonus, I will still get money.

Description of Mylot
Mylot is a great place that pays you to start discussions and reply to others that have been previously started. They offer to pay people from around the world. Be aware though, they do pay in pennies, but in the end it is always great to see some extra cash dropping into your paypal or E-gold account at the begining of the month.
How and When Mylot pays:
Mylot pays every month between the first and the fifteenth of the month. They do require that you have a minimum of ten dollars in your Mylot account before you can cashout. You can set the minimum threshold amount to a higher limit but if you do not make the minimum amount it will role over to the next month.
I have been a member of Mylot for a while and I have been paid each month so I do know that they work.
How Mylot is able to pay people:
Mylot is able to pay people because they are montetized by Yahoo and therefore when someone does a search then they have a high chance of something from their site, popping up. The more that people notice the site and click on the Yahoo monitization, the more that Mylot makes. This is how they are able to pay us. They basically pay us a percentage of what they get from Yahoo, how much this percentage is, is anyone's guess.
Why use Mylot:
I use Mylot for a number of reasons. First of all, I am a lazy web surfer. There you have it, I finally admitted to being lazy. Instead of looking something up on the Internet, I ask a question about it on Mylot and sure enough I will have at least one person come back with the right answer. I also use Mylot for free advertising.
I post up a lot of information about my site and blogs that I own. I add a link and kabam, like magic, I start having more visitors to my site. All I do to do this is, start a discussion about my blog and leave a link behind asking for people to visit it for more information. This has caused some of my blogs to triple in readership. I actually got one of my blogs on a number one page rank by doing this.
Here are a few tips to help you to make more money off of Mylot
First of all, you should always write a discussion that has some type of meaning to it. Don't write a discussion asking people what their favorite color is. You might get a lot of responses but it is not going to help you to make any money. If you want to make money from Mylot then you should write about something interesting. For instance, if you just started a new blog and you want traffic to it, then you should write a discussion about your blog and leave the link behind. When you write the discussion, try to make it into a short review. Or, if you want to know an answer to something, then ask it but make sure to explain the question in detail.
Make sure to write a descent paragraph or two. If you only write a few words, then they are not going to want to pay you much fro it. When you write a discussion, I would try to make it about two paragraphs long. This allows you to put enough information in it to make it interesting and long enough that Mylot will want to pay you for it.
Remember that Mylot will not pay you much for it but if you work hard enough on it then you will be glad that you are a part of them when the begining of the month roles around and you have extra money in your account.
