This is Entry Two for the Poetry section of the Summer Splash contest.
Tropical Island Magic
Gazing out over the water
My eyes spot a mother and daughter.
As they’re walking across the sand
I watch them join hand in hand.
Then, out of the corner of my eye
I saw a boat passing by.
Aboard it were three children and a father too
I here the smallest child say,
Dad I love you.
It’s amazing what this simple tropical island can do
Just take a look around it,
And something may happen to you.
