HOW DO I CHANGE THE BULB?

Many of you write to me asking ....

'How do I change the bulb or how can

I get inside my MiniCine Film Projector

so I can oil the working parts?'

I hope this helps you sort out your small probem.

First unscrew the lens (take it out) .... next put the handle

in your right hand and the lens hole in your left hand ....

now turn the handle backwards ....

do this till it comes out (take it out altogether) ....

Now turn the projector on its back .... you will see

three (3) screws .... unscrew the three (3) screws

.... now .... GENTLY.... press down on the controls

on the top of the projector, this will push the workings

out of the case .... like I said be gentle

.... now....

put a drop of oil in a clean tin lid

and using a kiddies small paint brush

you can now lightly oil the workings

(I use)

'3-in-one Multi-Purpose Drip Oil'

on the working parts ....

***DO NOT PUT ANY OIL IN THE FILM PATH ***

you can also change the bulb if you need too.

When you have done what you

need to do put it all back together....

slid the workings back in the case and put the

three (3) screws back in .... now gently put the handle back

the small hole and turn it clockwise

till the workings start working .... last of all put the

lens back in the lens hole.

CLEANING THE LENS

Only use a soft cloth to clean the lens....

Do not  use any cleaner as the some of the lens

 is made of plastic.

*****

I hope this helps you ....

Spare Parts and Films

It is hard to find spare parts

for these machines

The best places to look is

"Carboot sales"

or "Junk shops",

then there is always good old

"Ebay"

 dont forget the projectors

where made back in the

1940's and 50's

Happy Hunting!
