Biography:
Hermione Granger is known to be the brightest witch of her age. She attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where she is a fifth year Gryffindor student. Hermione is muggle born, meaning both of her parents are muggles (non magical). Her favorite thing to do is read, and she is a strong believer that you can solve any problem by consulting a book. In her first year at Hogwarts, the other students saw her as a bossy know-it-all, who always followed the rules. Today, however she is a kind hearted know-it-all, who occasionally breaks the rules when necessary.
Hermione's mind is brilliant. She is able to memorize the most complex spells, and perform the hardest of charms. In her fifth year at Hogwarts, she was able to perform a Protean Charm, which was N. E. W. T. level of magic. Hermione often helps her fellow classmates. Such as Neville Longbottom in Potions class, and her two best friends Harry Potter and Ron Weasley with their school work as well. In her third year at school, she even used a special Time Turner, that gave her the ability to be in two classes at once, allowing her to take extra subjects. In the eye of her teachers, she is known as a star pupil, with the exception of Professor Snape, who sees her as an "insufferable know-it-all." Hermione's name is from Shakespeare's play "A Winter Tale."
