I am 21 years old. I am enrolled at Penn State University and majoring in Fisheries Sciences. I've been fishing all my life, but I started bass fishing 7 years ago and then competitively 4 years ago. I belonged to the Allegheny Mountain Junior Bass Anglers(2001-2004). There I qualified for the Pennsylvania Junior State Team Tournament for 2 years in a row(2003-2004). In 2005, I went to the Allegheny Mountain Bass Anglers. Also in 2005 I fished in the Fishers Of Men National Tournament Trail in the Maryland West Division. There I had 2 top 5 finishes. I also qualified for the Fishers Of Men Eastern Regional held on Kerr Reservoir in North Carolina. There I place 35th out of 185 boats. The Winter of 2005 I created a New Junior club, Called the Johnstown Christian Bass Anglers, which has 15 junior anglers( under 18).
In 2007 I fished in the Fishers Of Men Maryland West Division, BFL (Northeastern Division), and many local tournaments. 2007 was a great season for me but 2008 looks to be even more promising than the previous years. I have learned a lot about myself and have learned a lot which will make me a threat in the BFL in 2008!
2008 will consist of fishing all of the BFL tournaments in the Northeast Division as a boater. All depending on the money that I will receive from sponsors, I also plan to fish a Stren Series Event, or a BASS OPEN event. I am also a member of the PSU BASS FISHING CLUB. I am really excited about this because, in the fall we will be fishing against colleges from all over the country! This will be huge in the next few years. It has grown tremendously since last year!
