Welcome

Welcome to Furuba Tales!We are a RPG based off of the lovable anime and manga, Fruits Basket. Here fans come together to Role Play the characters, and interact with fans who share a similar passion. The general rules for the site are straight forward and simple. Respect others and have fun!

Furuba Tales

Furuba Tales is different from most role play sites out on the net, in the fact that I have created what we call 'Fruit Groups'. Fruit Groups are the many Role Playing groups on the site that RP the different characters from within the anime/manga Fruits Basket.

I know what it is like to visit a site and have your favorite character taken, and the disappointment you feel when you discover that you are unable to Role Play the character you love so much. Well, I have worked to try and eliminate this problem. Here at Furuba tales the possibility of more than one of the same character is achievable. Characters of the same name have been divided into groups, which separate themselves by the mange, anime, and by a person's age group. This is in an attempt to try and accommodate for everyone. As of right now we have three groups, and plan to expand upon need. Listed below are the current groups.

Strawberry:
The official cast of the site. Full character names are reserved solely for those within this group. Applying for a Strawberry is difficult. Please do not apply unless you have had previous Role Play experience, and are confident in your abilities to Role Play your desired character. Must be 16 years or older, unless proven to be of excellent skill.

Watermelon:
Fruits basket role play based off of the anime alone. This means any character and plots lines that took place within the manga are irrelevant here. This is to accommodate for Role Players who have not yet read the manga, for those who prefer the anime, and for those who want to fall back to a time-line before the current book. Although they do not hold the official names of the site, those who wish to Role Play within the Watermelon group must prove exceptional in Role Playing their characters. Must be 16 years or older, unless proven to be of excellent skill.

Peach:
Role play based off of the manga. Those who wish to Role play within Peach must be capable of appropriately handling their character. Those of every age are welcome here.

News and Updates

The site has been going under some major changes lately. I believe most of the changes are apparent. I'm still working on different codes and aspects of the site, but I hope that you enjoy the work that is being done.

I want to congratulate some of our new Role Players! Welcome Lilthy-chan as our new Kimi Toudou of Peach, and both Rosebud and Hope as our new Kisa and Kagura Sohma of group Strawberry! Wonderful job all three of you!

Another call a congratulations goes out to Kamint-chan! Our dedicated and hard working Mod. ^^ She has been named 'Member of the Month'. ^^ Be sure to give her your time and thanks, for the hard work she has put forth.

Continuing on, recently we have gained a new Global Moderator, as well as a Co-admin. Both Kisa Sohma and Chibi Plum have have been added to the staff list. They are here to make your life, and mine a heck of a lot easier, so be sure to show them the thanks and gratification they deserve!

Lastly, as a note to all those who wish to apply for a character, PLEASE make sure to read over the rules thoroughly before hand. I can not accept applications that do not follow the basic rules of the site. Thank you!
