PREPARING YOUR RECIPE Steam...cabbage until soft Separate...and trim leaves Combine...beef , rice , egg, onion , salt and pepper. Shape....into approx. 2" balls Wrap...balls with cabbage leaves Layer....bottom of 9 x 9 baking pan with sauerkraut Place....cabbage balls on sauerkraut Top with....tomatoes. RECIPE TIP:
Remove the rib from each cabbage leaf for faster cooking and a more tender meal.You may use toothpicks to hold your cabbage rolls together. For an edible decorative touch tie them with scallion onion greens. | ||
