Formed in the spring of 2003, Fully Vested is a five-member band that concentrates on playing the best classic rock that was ever written. Whether it be Bad Company, Foreigner, Grand Funk Railroad, Huey Lewis and The News, or even Chicago, this group tries to give the audience a wide variety of listening pleasure. We've also tried Boston, Kansas, and some Styx tunes. What about Journey? Yeah, we have even tried them, so you never know what we may have on our current songlist.
After months of rehearsals and trying to find the right personnel to work and play together, it was obvious to the band when the perfect combination was finally achieved. With the current band line-up, Fully Vested has a growing fan base that just keeps getting bigger and bigger with every gig played.
There are a lot of bands in the Tidewater area, and new ones pop up all the time. We know that and the fans know this as well. It seems that every band that comes along, (either new band or veteran band) claims to be "The Hottest Band in Hampton Roads". How do we know this? Just go check out some of the websites for local bands. We aren't claiming to be hottest, or the best, or anything. We let the fans decide all that for themselves. But, we will make this comment. Go check out all those other "hot" bands and then come check out our show.
Based in Hampton Roads of Virginia, the members of Fully Vested come from various walks of life, but have joined forces to present the music that is essential to each of them. Not only that, but they have made a conscious effort to make sure they play "dance material"! Therefore, if you want to do some heavy rocking and rolling to some great dance classics as well as classic rock favorites, don't forget your dancing shoes. If you haven't seen them in concert yet, come on out to a show and check them out. You will be glad you did! Better yet, bring a friend or two, and we'll be glad you did because we LOVE a packed house.
