Finger Lakes Fruit Bowl

Interested in receiving a weekly share of fresh, local fruit in addition to your vegetable share? Join the Finger Lakes Fruit Bowl, a special "side dish" share available only to Full Plate members.  The Fruit Bowl offers two prepaid subscriptions to an assortment of local, seasonal fruit from the Ithaca area and around the Finger Lakes.

'09-'10 Winter Fruit Share

2010 June-Oct Fruit Share

Winter Fruit Share 2009-10

We offer a winter fruit share that runs from Thursday, December 3rd through Thursday, February 25th (except for the week starting Thursday, December 24th), exactly the same season as the Full Plate winter CSA.  You can pick up your box anytime during the week after midday each Thursday, just as you pick up your winter veggie share.  The winter fruit share will consist of several varieties of organic apples balanced with frozen berries, frozen peaches, cider, honey, and jams (made by Sue).  All the fruit and other products are sourced directly from farmers within NYS.  Payment is due in-full when you sign up.

For the 2009-2010 Winter Fruit Share, there are a few options:

•    Pick up at Stick and Stone on Wednesdays ($130 for 12 weeks)
•    PIck up at Three Swallows on Saturdays ($130 for 12 weeks)
•    Have the fruit delivered to Ludgate Farms Gourmet Market, Mama Goose, Fall Creek or to another Full Plate group site along with your Full Plate share on Thursdays ($150 for 12 weeks)
•    Have the fruit delivered to your home or work address along with your Full Plate share on Thursdays ($150 for 12 weeks)

June-October 2010 Fruit Share

Each week from mid-June through the end of October we will have your fresh fruit (or occasionally cider) available to pick up at the same time and location as you get your Full Plate share (Stick and Stone Farm, Three Swallows Farm, Ludgate's, other group delivery option, or home delivery).  The 2010 growing-season fruit share may include rhubarb, strawberries, apricots, cherries, peaches, plums, heirloom apples, pears, and some small berries as well.  The Fruit Bowl season will begin on the same day as the first Full Plate pick-up, and last for 20 weeks (ending in late October).  Payment is due in-full when you sign up.
