This is a interesting subject , & one that is frequently discussed in the Professional Photographic Industry . Both methods of recording & reproducing images , have there advantages , but film still remains the most favoured for quality .
I thought it was interesting , that several years ago , that not one digital image was considered to have the qualities , to appear on the front of a professional glossy magazine , from a considerable amount of entries .
Most recently certain findings , was that only 40 % of photographers are still only using film , but Perfect Images estimates that this figure is higher , & believes that the traditional way of exposing film to light , will always remain .
My clients have the assurance that in the first instance all of my photography , is documented on film , but they have the service which enables them to have the choice , whether it be pro-film , pro-digital or both . I know which method I prefer ! I leave it to my valued customers to choose theirs ?
