Funda Fundisani Youth Network (FUFUDO) is a dynamic organization of creative young people (tertiary students and graduates some of which are unemployed) from Free State in South Africa working together for sustainable social change and to promote youth participation in community development. Initially Funda Fundisani focused on education and we were committed in visiting and mentoring high school learners and giving career advisement. Then the organization realized that there are many challenges facing young people today and these issues need our involvement as young people to come up with innovative solutions.  The main aim of the organization is to develop and empower young people by information sharing, promoting community development through education and enterprise in an ethical and sustainable manner.  “LOCAL CHANGE – GLOBAL IMPACT”  We are committed to, Promote activities such as advocacy, lobbying and education Support projects such as HIV/AIDS, Human Rights, unemployment, Youth & Drugs, youth culture and empowerment Promote youth participation in community development To form a network of young business and social entrepreneurs To promote cultural exchange and diversity in Xhariep District. We thought that it is imperative to lend a helping hand to the stakeholders who are committed in making change, based on the fact that they cannot reach their aims and objectives all by themselves without the help of the general members of the community.  With very limited resources, Funda Fundisani has embarked on a number of community projects and to promote youth participation in community building. We believe that young people are excluded in their democracy and there is urgent need of youth intervention. With your support we can make this world a better place for all because the future is ours. The Funda Fundisani Committee consists of student from different tertiary institutions in South Africa, like Technikon Free State, University of the Free State, Wits University etc from Free State. These young men and women are dedicated in building a better and empowered society through education and information.
