We at FTBOMP are overwhelmed with how well The Gateway Meat is being recieved. The film has been getting some really solid press. I have updated the PRESS section of the website. In other news the script for "Well of the Watcher" is coming along nicely. It is much larger in scope than any of our previous works. I'm excited about it and It should begin the rapid snowball process soon.
05/21/2008 -INSIDE THE UNDERGROUND/WELL OF THE WATCHER
I'm currently looking for artist and musicians working in bizzare and or extreme mediums for a Docmentary we are working on called inside the underground. Also we have begun the preproduction process for an up coming horror film very tentively entitled "Well of the Watcher" we will be looking for people to join out crew for this one. It gives me distinct and utmost pleasure to announce that the Gateway Meat is officially finished. It has been a true trial of my will to bring this project from start to finish but I feel I learned a lot about how to become a better filmmaker as a result of it. When we started the project it was our goal to deliver a pure horror viewing experience. It became more than that to me. During a time in my life where everything was in disarray I used the film as a tool to funnel my frustration and anger into. The result is an angry and uncompromisingly sarcastic film. It may be old hat to say that I trapped my demons away in the movie but in many ways it seems that I have. I know that projects in the future will be approached with a greater confidence and vigor. I would like to give thanks to everyone involved in the making of the film and above all to my wife for putting up with all the insanity, blood, sweet, and tears.
