All rinks and clubs around Australia have two types of testing.
The first is Aussie Skate, a series of tests for beginners done normally over a period of 1-3 years. Aussie Skate tests have a range of levels prefect for any one of any age competitive or recreational.
Once the skater is quite confident in his or her skating, they will start on the National testing. These tests start at preliminary and work their way to the senior test. Once a skater has completed the primary test they are eligible to compete at the Australian National Championships.
