3rd October Dracula was waiting, he was evidently prepared for surprises, Dracula leap into the room. It was so panther like movement, it is so unhuman.
3rd October Jonathan Harker was the quickest, he threw himself before the door leading into the room in the front of the house.
3rd October He took out his great Kukri knife and made a fierce and sudden cut at Dracula. Dracula diabolical quickness of the count leap back saved him. Jonathan Harker throw the knife at Dracula again
3rd October Seward moved forward with a protective impulse and holding wafer and the Crucifix in his left hand. Dracula cowers in similar movement. He fears time, want and Van Helsing and friends.
3rd October Goldalming and Morris had to rush out into the yard and Harker lowered himself from the window to follow Dracula. Dracula bolted the stable door and by the time they forced it open there was no sign of him.
4th October Mina wants Van Helsing to hypnotise her before dawn as she can speak freely what Dracula is thinking and seeing
5th October Professor Van Helsing, Lord Godalming, Dr Seward, Mr.Quincey Morris, Jonathan Harker, Mina Harker. Van Helsing told them the plan they going to take
5th October Van Helsing thinks that Dracula will be going back to Transylvania by Danube mouth, or by somewhere in the Black Sea. So they need to find which ship is going to leave.
5th October They found that Dracula is on board the Czarina Catherine and she sails from Doolittle’s wharf for Varna
5th October Van Helsing told the rest that Dracula is on the sea with the fog at his command to Danube mouth. He suggested that they should go on land as it his quicker and meet him there. He wants to catch Dracula between sunrise and sunset.

30th October Mina is analytical

30th October They are quick witted as when they heard that Dracula is not on the Czarina Catherine where they were suppose to kill him, they need to change their plan.

They also change their plan to catch Dracula. Seward and Quincey Morris would be going on horse while Jonathan and Godalming would be going on a steam launch and follow Dracula. Van Helsing would take Mina to Castle Dracula.
