What is the "FMCC"
The Frodsham Model Car Club, is a club for racing radio controlled electric model cars.
We race on a Thursday night , at the Frodsham Community Centre, in Cheshire. The racing starts at approximately 7.30pm and continues until about 10pm.We have members of all ages from 7/8 to much much older!
We race 1/10th scale Touring Cars, Mardaves, 1/12th and 1/18th scale.
The cars race on a carpet surface , we normally have three 'qualifying' races and a final for everybody. Racing on the night costs £3.50, this pays for the hire of the hall and other club equipment such as the carpet. The races are electronically timed, using AMB equipment.
