| The Cast and Awards |
As
you probably know the Lord of the Rings has been made into a
movie....(for those of you who dont have you been living in a cave???)
this page is all about the cast.....the beautiful, beautiful cast....
and even those who aren't so beautiful.
Yay the Oscars are over and it was dominated by LOTR!!!!! They broke
soo many records....first fantsy film to win best picture....they won
in every category they were up for....11 nominations in
total.....grossed over 1 billion dollars worldwide...sexiest cast....i
mean what cant they do???? I think Entertainment Weekly put it
perfectly when they said "It [LOTR] could have won the
Westminster dog show if it had entered."
Here's all the Oscars LOTR has one over the past 3 years.
Fellowship of the Ring: Cinematography, Makeup, Original Score, Visual Effects
The Two Towers: Sound Editing, Visual Effects
The Return of the King: Best Picture,
Best Director, Makeup, Costume Design, Visual Effects, Best Adapted
Screeenplay, Art Direction, Film Editing, Original Score,
Original Song, and Sound Mixing.
And soo that means in total LOTR has gotten 17 Academy Awards and a total of 30 nominations. Take that Mystic River.
