Hey Tangeroga, whats up?  We just about have a full roster, but are still recruiting.  Tonight we should have our first 8 on 8 clan war.  We just got 2 new members today, and they are probably going to play in the clan war.  We have room to cut people now, so it's no longer a "come into a tryout room with no clan tag, and we send you an invite".  We may cut one of our new members tonight, depending on how he does in the clan war.  I added a couple of new sections to the site as you can see to the left.  The Guides section includes helpful tips and tricks that should make you a better SOCOM II player.  I got rid of the join section, because we no longer need that.  People were starting to abuse it anyways.  We also added a Calendar, which hasn't yet been updated for this month.  I'm going to work on that as soon as I finish this news update.  I'm also going to work on a new flash movie, that is going to include everybody in our clan.  They aren't easy to make, so it may take a while. -fripple

Hey everybody.  The next two weeks up to next Thursday are going to be Tangeroga's practice weeks.  The reason for this is that sccrultimate is on vacation, and it is hard to get enough people for a clan war without him.  Our clan could also use the practice (especially after the last battle).  I took down the roster section and added a calandar section.  The roster was too hard to keep updated, and a calandar would be a more useful section.  If you are not in our clan and wish to view our roster than you can see the complete one on gamebattles.  I also updated a new rule, and it is in the rules section.  There will be three days a week where our clan will hold practice, and a practice will be held twice on those three days.  One at 2:00 PM EST, and one at 8:30 PM EST.  You are required to come to at least two of those practices a week.  It isn't that much.  We our just asking you to play as a clan just 2 games for the entire week.  The room will be called [*T] Practice, and you only need to play one full game.  There will not be a password, so get there promptly so the room doesn't fill up.  Finally, visit our forums.  I added two new polls, so be sure to participate in them.  Also, there are directions to sign up for gamebattles so you can hold a leadership position in our clan.  There are more details in the post. -fripple

Things could not look any better for Tangeroga right now. sccrultimate and I just scored big with a whole bunch of new clan members.  So much, that our roster is almost full.  Expect lots of clan wars in the next couple of weeks.  Since it is hard for me to constantly update our roster page, I will try to do so every two weeks.  Remember to sign up for our forums as well.  My AIM screen name is bsbllplyr392 so if you have any questions about our clan, just ask me.  As for now Tangeroga welcomes, (*-`)BLINK182, KillaKid*, STONEDaim, nicker~7=death, wierdo 510, and Redgun.  I also added a new rules section for our clan.  It's just to make sure that nothing gets too out of hand.  They aren't strict, and really shouldn't effect your gameplay at all.  -fripple

Hey! Well it hasnt been a very good week for Tangeroga. Although we gained Reckelss and N0STALGIC we ended up losing them as clan members. We did gain Matt again but he hasnt really been on. We had one great clan member, #C~$ Robin, and he is the best in our clan. The only thing is, is that he keeps switching clans so fripple and I dont know wether we are to keep him or remove him from the roster. Hopefully with your help we can get some more people in our clan. If you see anyone who is good just write down their name and tell us! We would be glad to except them into the clan.-sccrultimate

Wow, its been almost two whole months since Tangeroga has participated in a clan match.  Matt and EYEoftheTIGER have both dropped from our clan because neither I or sccrultimate has been playing.  We recently added a new member, reckless, and N0STALGIC.  Combine new members and more free time (because of summer) and you get more clan wars!  We plan on adding a friend of mine within the next month or so.  I expect to have a full roster by the end of Summer 2004.  Good luck everybody!

Yet another clan war has been one by Tangeroga.  This time, it was a 3 on 3.  The maps were The Mixer, The Mixer, and Foxhunt, but we did so good that we took them out in 2 games and didn't even play Foxhunt.  Matt-4-2-0 played in his first clan war, and did great, although he didn't stay the entire time.  MVP goes to matt for doing so great in his first clan war with Tangeroga.  Matt had to leave after the first match, so we were down 1 guy, but they chose to be SEALs in The Mixer, which was a huge mistake (even though they were going to lose either way).  Sccrultimate was the MVP for the second game, because he got around 15 kills, which is awesome for just a 2 on 2 (one of their guys lagged out and didn't come back until the end).  Sccrultimate also got the last kill of the game, and it was very close.  So close that it said that the SEALs won on both of our screens.  The final totals came up, and showed that we won.  When we got to the lobby, they were saying how bad we were and everything, but I shut them up.  Everybody did a great job.  Once again, get members so we can really dominate the game! -fripple

Sccrultimate and I just won another clan war.  This improves our record to 4-7.  It is still under 500, but we are getting there.  This win will give us the momentum to climb up the Gamebattles Clan Ladder.  We have another new member, matt-4-2-0.  He joined a while ago, but I never put it in the clan news.  He has the highest rank in the clan right now and will be an effective key to our clans success.  Remember to sign up for the forums on our site, and to write down a screen name of a good player if you come across one without a clan.  We need people to have a full roster and hopefully have a full 8 on 8 clan war.  Once we do that, our clan will get more serious, and have a scheduled time for clan wars every week (i.e. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 7:00 PM EST).  Everybody is doing great, the only thing we need to work on is once again, recruiting.  -fripple

I would like to give everybody and update on what is happening with our clan.  So far our gamebattles record is now 2 and 2.  It should be only 2 and 1, but there was some confusion scheduling a match, and we had to report a loss for a game we never played.  It doesn't matter, we still have the same amount of experience points as if we were 2 and 0 because of the way the losses were reported.  Both matches we won in 2 games, the first MVP goes to sccrultimate (since he was MVP in both games) and the second MVP goes to fripple (since he was MVP in both games.  I would also like to welcome our new member, EYEoftheTIGER.  She just joined yesterday, and is still an ensign, but she will get better.  Anyways, that is the update for our clan.  Now that we have gotten our clan wars started, I will make an effort to try to update you when we have one, what the password is going to be etc. on this site, so be sure to check it often.  Also, if you haven't already signed up for the forums, please do so.  We will use the chatroom in it for clan meetings and tactics in the game.  Keep up the good work! -fripple
