This is a collaborative effort to create alternatives to slaughter, on the part of participating Equine Industrialists and the various rescues they work with to re-home, re-train, rescue and/or retire industry horses no longer useful to the industry.....
The Industrialists promice and pledge to the rescues they choose to work with, to be 50% responsible for the cost of the equines they place into the care of that rescue, only until which time suitable, adoptive homes can be found. Once the animal is adopted, the industry will be absolved of its financial responsibility for that particular animal. The rescues will be liable for the other 50% of that cost.
