Rutgers Gardens is a self sustaining operation and relies on your support for maintaining the Gardens, purchasing equipment and materials, supporting salaries, and providing public programs are raised through facility rental fees, special events, membership dues and donations from our generous supporters. We are one of the few botanical gardens in the country that does not charge a visitorâ??s fee and is open 365 days a year.

TERRA NOVA GARDEN CLUB was started in 1951 by a group of garden-loving women in the Stephenville section of Edison. Terra Nova sponsored the organization of the Piscataway Garden Club. In 2001, Terra Nova celebrated its 50th anniversary with a special luncheon at the Metuchen Country Club. This September, we will celebrate 60 years of gardening, community service and friendship with a Anniversary Celebration.
