Remember to consult the phases of the moon before doing any major spell work. If you want something to increase it should be done during the waxing of the moon (between the new moon but before the full) If you want something to decrease it needs to be during the waning moon (between the full and the new moon.)

The new moon should be set aside for introspective work.

The full moon is for rituals

Not all spells have to be full blown rituals. Lighting a candle or writing a note with intent can have as big an effect on the energies as rituals. (See experiences)

When using oils try to use "Essential oils" and not perfume oils

When collecting supplies it is better if you can get it naturally. Feathers off the ground, fresh lavender picked from a garden, dried rose petals from roses given to you or from your garden.
