Because if you do this crime, you won’t do no time.
Legal drug dealing rules our economy,
Yet at the same time pushing “no tolerance’ policies,
Austracising (sic) ‘illicit’ drug users from their own drug using/abusing societies,
Just to justify ‘their’ own crimes.
Legal drug abuse creates drug ‘addicts’ ‘piss-heads, and ‘boozers’,
Yet at the same time they call Cannabis users ‘dickheads’ and ‘losers,
With all our rights and beliefs being simply refused us,
Because for us, a choice just doesn’t exist.
Legal drug dealers can deal with immunity,
With 34,000+ dead laughed away as fantasy,
To suppress the dark truth, the grim reality
Of which all Australians should be ashamed.
For the reality of it is – Ethanol drug abuse kills,
Same as Tobacco, caffeine and prescription pills.
From the criteria of harm, they cause all sorts of ills,
But are legally dealt out just the same.

Intoxication in a toxic nation,
Creating a toxic build-up of degradation.
Legal drugs advocated for misuse and abuse,

We get hunted down for our views and beliefs,

Because when it comes to fairness of beliefs and choices
Our Government doesn’t seem to care.
Now this abuse of Human Rights really ain’t that funny,
For in reality these policies are all about making money.
The worship of mammon, the Revenue stream,
Basically, ‘their’ addiction annihilated our great Australian Dream.
They allowed legal drugs to have ‘Carte Blanche’ upon our lives
To lay waste across humanity, just to see who survives.
To assail our senses, to de-sensitize us all,
But do you really think that they’ll be there to catch you when you fall?
History has proven that this is ‘so not the case’,
For who really cares if a drunk falls flat on his/her face?
Or if they drown their sorrows to the point of abuse,
To create health problems and then wield them as an excuse.
They push the price of ‘licits’ to an all-time low,
They seem easier to get than tickets to an Easter Show.
For you can buy them at any supermarket, ‘servo’, chemist or pub,
It doesn’t matter how many people they kill, you’re just a statistic, so join the club!
Our sporting and entertainment heroes do it, it’s all in the application,
So, basically, as long as it’s legal - please enjoy your intoxication.
Now even though this law is biased and as bigotted as can be,
It can still be wielded and abused in the campaign against the ‘tree’.
For legal drug abuse, it’s ‘softly, softly’ and ‘go with the flow’,
Yet at the same time, medicinal Cannabis users get dealt another ‘almost fatal’ death blow.
For you see, to our Government, it doesn’t matter which drugs you misuse and abuse,
As long as it’s only ‘their’ legal drugs that you choose to infuse.
The question is – Why this hypocrisy in democracy has been going on for many a year.
With all legal drug-dealers placed above the law, with nothing and no-one to fear?
The question is, why the toleration of such an abuse of Political powers
Has been unleashed against a race of natural healing herbs and flowers?
NOTE......While cannabis has been proven to be minimum toxicity to the tune of 40,000:1 LD50, our so-called "Say no to drugs" Government forget that the psychoactive, recreational drug contained in their drink is TOXIC, and that their favourite word In-TOXIC-ation contains the word TOXIC. But, whether toxic or non-toxic drug is consumed by the individual, it is still the individuals' choice and theirs alone, as is their human right.

NOTE:In 2008 our Prime Minister finally admitted that “Australia is in a booze epidemic”. What do you expect, when drug lords and the Politicians, Media, Police, Sporting Bodies etc. all call the psychoactive, recreational party drug ethanol, a ‘drink’ and ‘all good’, and driving under the influence of the drug ethanol as ‘drink’ driving and blatant ethanol drug abuse is called ‘binge ‘drinking’.
This country has a long way to go before we show respect to all drugs, equally. Just like with alcoholics, our Politicians etc. need to go through the 10-step programme.
Step 1 - Admit you take drugs Step 2 - Admit you have a problem Step 3 - Admit you have dismissed the Criteria of Harm that governs all drugs Step 4 - Admit that all drugs go into 3 different categories, Class A, B or C Step 5 - Admit that the buzzwords ‘legal’ or ‘illegal’ do not make a drug ‘all good’ or ‘all bad’ Step 6 - Those who advocate the drug to you do not govern how safe or how dangerous a drug can be Step 7 - Admit that all drugs burn nutrients out of the body that need to be put back. ie “Drugs, if you don’t eat, they eat you”. Step 8 - Admit that there is a clear difference between beneficial drug application - use - and the perversion of that beneficial drug application - abuse. Step 9 - First cast the bottle of ‘Beam’ out of your own eye, before you see fit to cast the ‘Cannabis’ mote out of your brother’s eye”. Step 10 - Respect your drug of choice, and choose to use and not to abuse. It’s that simple!

NEWS FLASH! Under the headline/joke of “Alcohol not so festive”, on the 6th Feb. 2008, our local paper stated that “research commissioned by the advocacy group Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation, shows........
Australia’s culture of regular (ethanol drug abuse) binge drinking is alive and well” (and that goes for other countries as well. It's a worldwide epidemic!)
So nice someone’s drug abuse culture is alive and well, we’re still fighting for the right to even respectfully benefit from our cultural medicine and recreational drug of choice.
It continued, “2.2 million people aged over 14 experienced abuse from someone under the influence (of ethanol drug abuse) of alcohol during the Christmas and New Year holiday period”. - I’m sure they meant ‘Pissed’mas and New Beers holiday period. -
“More than 30% of teenagers surveyed claim they feared for the safety of their family and friends, as a consequence of (ethanol drug abuse) binge ‘drinking’ (?)”
The above Foundation needs to educate themselves and our Politicians to the simple fact that ethanol is a liquidised drug and not a drink. Perhaps then they will realize that they are a bunch of drug takers as well, and they can stop hunting others down for their drugs of choice, just to excuse the proven fact that the drug ethanol is the most abused drug in Australia and at the moment (2008) we are forking out $7.6 BILLION+ in death, damage, destruction and side effects, both acute and chronic….with some of those side effects being the same ones they blaming cannabis culture for - psychosis and other mental disorders; cancer; rotting teeth; etc.
Although two side effects they can’t blame on cannabis are 1) death (including from withdrawal) and 2) organ damage and failure.
It’s time one drug culture, branded with a buzzword, stopped telling others not to take drugs. It’s just an act, as hypocrisy is.

The movie “KINGDOM OF HEAVEN” is a good illustration of the parallels of every war and peace scenario as it depicted, on one side, a scenario of tolerance, understanding, balance, acceptance and justice, while on the other side it demonstrated the exact opposites of No Tolerance, no understanding, no balance, no acceptance and brutal injustice.

The same could be said for the War between drug cartels and drug culture, now separated by apartheid policies and the sickening buzzwords ‘legal/licit’ and ‘illegal/illicit’, which has nothing to do with the Criteria of Harm involved, and a lot to do with drug supremacy and mastery policies, just like with any war. All one has to do is replace the word ‘drug’ with any subject matter that has been fought over throughout history. The principles never change.
The thing about all wars is that they are all fought over some thing or some subject matter, with one side trying to wipe out or dominate the other by any means necessary…and, as usual, in any war it is always the innocent that suffer.
The human quest for balance, fairness and justice has been going on for a very long time now, and as soon as we get balance, fairness and justice for one subject matter of choice, we realize that all around us is imbalance, unfairness, and injustice being manifested on all sorts of subject matter. Every single day they believe our herbs must be crushed into the ground.

How long must people blame what they choose to abuse?

Can anyone explain to me why Politicians, Police etc. are legally allowed to genocide the only race on this earth that can actually bring a halt to Global Warming/ Climate Change within a two year period. GW/CC is from heightened CO2 levels.
The human race and other animal races breathe out CO2 and we dump it into the atmosphere through Industry etc. The phyto-races of this earth breathe in this CO2 and breathe out our vital, for human and other animal survival, oxygen.
Every time the Police rip out a member of the Cannabis race (usually 15-20 footers, outdoor), they are not only committing genocide but they are contributing to Global Warming through deforestation of an annual. It takes a tree up to 50 years to grow.
It takes the Cannabis race between 6 months and 9 months to get 15 feet or more, and even the bushy Indicas have enough wide leaf matter to help balance Global Warming by protecting the earth from excessive carbon dioxide bombardment.
People want a long term solution for Global Warming? Cover the dust bowl, we now call Australia, in Cannabis and watch this essential genus and race help the world recover from Global Warming. We certainly haven’t helped it any.

Second Opinion?
I saw a cartoon once that showed a cartoon character of our (then) P.M. John Howard, with a group of people. A spokesperson said, "1360 scientists from 95 countries say the world is on the brink of disaster". To this, the (then) P.M. stated, "I've asked for a second opinion".
In the same token.....No matter the amount of scientists, doctors, professors, researchers (and yes, those who matter most, the sufferers themselves), who say medical cannabis works…and works without it being abused, manipulated and turned into a Pharmaceutical drug….those in power state, "I've asked for/want a second opinion".
Then they get given that, then they want another and another and another, until they finally get one that they agree with.
My opinion is simple, if Politicians want to take their drugs, they can take them. If Politicians don’t want to take Cannabis/ THC and other drugs, then they don’t have to take them. But for Politicians to force their choice on others is slavery and Dictatorship.
