Abraham Lincoln, (Dec. 1840)
“Prohibition...goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at th
e very principles upon which our government was founded.”
Albert Einstein, (1921) - “The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this.”
Milton Friedman Economist Nobel prize winner
“So long as large sums of money are involved - and they are bound to be if drugs are illegal - it is literally impossible to stop the traffic, or even to make a serious reduction in its scope…..Our emphasis here is based not only on the growing seriousness of drug-related crimes, but also on the belief that relieving our police and our courts from having to fight losing battles against drugs will enable their energies and facilities to be devoted more fully to combating other forms of crime. We would thus strike a double blow: reduce crime activity directly, and at the same time increase the efficacy of law enforcement and crime prevention."

In the movie, “The Last Of The Mohicans”, the character played by Daniel Day-Lewis asked, “Has the rule of Law been replaced by absolutism?” (Absolutism is no tolerance/no acceptance/do exactly as I command or else, policy). A frontiersman in the same movie stated, “They set aside their law, as and when they wish. Their law no longer has rightful authority over us. All they have over us is tyranny, and I will not live under that yoke, and I will accept it no longer”.

“WELCOME TO THE POLICY OF CANNABIPHOBIA” (D.Nentwig - copyright Jan.2008)

---------------
Defining ‘Phobia’…..
“A persistent, abnormal, and irrational fear of a specific thing or situation that compels one to avoid it, despite the awareness and reassurance that it is not dangerous”…….. “A strong fear, dislike, or aversion”. (American Heritage Dictionary).
“An exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object, class of objects, or situation”. (Merriam-Webster’s Online Dictionary).
As such, Cannabiphobia is an exaggerated, persistent, abnormal, illogical, inexplicable and irrational fear of the Cannabis genus/race, it’s culture, its belief system, its applications and anything whatsoever to do with it.
Anti-Cannabis campaigners must be tormented on a regular basis because, as the old saying goes, ‘Fear hath torment”. But, just because they are tormented in their own minds, does not mean they have the right to torment others by unleashing phobic policies.
Meanwhile, talking about real fears……..................
“ANYTIME THAT THEY LIKE” (D. Nentwig - copyright Jan. 2008)
(Parody: ‘In the middle of the night’ - Billy Joel
Anytime that they like,
They smash bottles in my street.
Spreading violence and fear,
While on others they beat.
Drug abuse is now legal,
An ever climbing cost.
And families regularly mourn,
The loved ones that they’ve lost.
Even though the abuse is rife
And our home gets trashed from city to shore,
To try to excuse their ‘revellers’ crimes,
Upon another’s choice they wage uncivil war.
In the middle of the night,
I get woken from my sleep.
By fighting and screams,
From people in too deep.
But when we ask for something
That stops our seizures and our pain,
Politicians say ‘No!’,
For there’s no personal gain.
I don’t know why they say ‘herb ain’t right’.
I’m sick and tired and I don’t want pain any more.
Australia’s legally going to hell,
While they deny the herb that we’ve been praying for.
For in the middle of the night,
People cry out in their sleep.
From arthritic pain,
When they should be counting sheep.
Others suffer from nightmares,
Seizures and disease,
While Politicians think that they can do as they please,
Any time that they like.
I’m not gonna take the drugs they push,
Complete with side effects, deaths and complications, man.
My medicine comes from a bush
That grows naturally in the ‘fair go’ land.
For in the middle of the night,
Herb helps me get a good night’s sleep,
Removing nightmares and pain
And cramping in my legs and feet.
I don’t wake up paralysed
Or with a nightmarish scream,
Because with cannabis,
I simply don’t dream!…….In the middle of the night.
(In fact, all through the night).

“Just because someone says something is bad, wrong or of no benefit whatsoever, does not mean I cannot find something beneficial, good and respectful to do with it.”
(D. Nentwig)
“It’s not how we can prevent the choice, it should be (and was) how we can prevent the harm, while allowing the choice. People learn from mistakes. They cannot learn from No Tolerance on Choice”. (D.Nentwig)
Xenophobia = Irrational fear of anything ‘foreign‘.

Just in case people have forgotten, the Cannabis race has existed in Australia for over 200 years ever since Sir Joseph Banks brought it to our shores and planted it in the Hunter Valley where it was living and growing wild, until…. (under the fear statement of, “The wild sex drug marijuana is growing in the Hunter Valley. Miles of it”)….. then Cannabis Australis was genocided by a bunch of phobic, recreational drug takers who even in the year 2008 still won’t admit that the drug they are taking (ethanol) is actually a drug.
This is why I penned a letter to all of our pro-ethanol, pro-pharmaceutical, anti-cannabis race and culture politicians called, “So you believe your drug is a drink”. One day they might actually write back and tell us, “You know? You’re right, but….ha, ha, it’s legal, that’s it…..and that’s why we have the right to push and advocate this drug on all ages equally, in every medium imaginable. And that’s why police (when they’re not hunting ‘illicit’ drug users down) now have a mandate to baby-sit and forgive some of the most hard core drug abusers on the planet, in the name of ‘reveller’, ‘party goer’, and ‘excessive drinker’.”
The W.A.G.A.S.I.L. excuse constantly wielded by recreational and medicinal drug lords to excuse their crimes doesn’t hold water anymore in any part of society except for politics and drug pushing circles like Sport. W.A.G.A.S.I.L. has been a statement I have wielded for a number of years as being the main excuse for blatant, hardcore legal drug abuse.
W.A.G.A.S.I.L. stands for: Who Actually Gives A Shit, It’s Legal”.
e.g. “No drugs in Sport?” Legal drug cartels state, W.A.G.A.S.I.L.

Or, put simply..."Who gives a Fosters?"
“No drugs in Politics?” Legal drug cartels state, W.A.G.A.S.I.L.

Above: Our Prime Minister with his psychoactive drug of choice - ethanol.
“No drugs in fashion?” Legal drug cartels state,
W.A.G.A.S.I.L
“No drugs in holidays and family events? LDC state
W.A.G.A.S.I.L.
Drugs, Sport, Family Events and the beach - Good as Gold?....or, who gives a XXXX ?
Meanwhile, while legal drug cartels own and sponsor pretty much every medium in Australia, the Police and the Politicians who both work for them state, "Say NO to drugs, even if it is a vital, beneficial medicine that is way less toxic than the drug that they're 'stepping up to bat' for.

“THE STILL POSSIBLE DREAM” - (D. Nentwig - Copyright Dec. 2007)
(Parody of ‘The Impossible Dream’ -Man of La Mancha) (Original words and music by Joe Darion & Mitch Leigh).
To dream… the still possible dream.
To fight…. the Political foes.
To live…. without unbearable suffering.
To stand up… for our rights to grow.
To right… the apartheid wrong.
To help….. suffering near and far.
To strive…. to medicate freely.
To reach…. the Medical cannabis star. (above: ‘Ganja Star’)
This is our quest…. to follow that star,
No matter the hatred….. unleashed wherever we are.
To fight for what’s right…. against uncivil wars,
To be willing to march into Par-li-a-ment for the Cannabis cause.
And I know if I’ll only be true to this medical quest,
That my nerves will stay peaceful and calm
When I lay down to re-e-e-est.
And the world….. will take note of this
That one group….. scorned and covered with scars (emotional and physical)
Still strive….. with their last ounce of courage,
To reach…. the Medical Cannabis star.
And this is our quest….. to follow that star,
No matter the hatred…. unleashed wherever we are.
To fight for what’s right….. against uncivil wars,
To be willing to march into Par-li-a-ment for the Cannabis cause.
And I know if I’ll only be true to this medical quest,
That my nerves will stay peaceful and calm
When I lay down to re-e-e-est.
And the world….. will take note of this
That one group….scorned and covered with scars (emotional & physical)
Still strive….. with their last ounce of courage,
To reach…. the Medical Can-na-bis….. STAR.

Robert Sweet, New York District Judge, (USA)
“Finally, the fundamental flaw which will ultimately destroy this prohibition, as it did the last one (ethanol drug prohibition, that is), is that criminal sanctions cannot, and should not, attempt to prohibit personal conduct which does no harm to others”.

“YOUNG MAN, DO WHAT WE SAY” (D. Nentwig - copyright Oct. 2007)
(Parody of Y.M.C.A. - The Village People)
Young man, do exactly as we say
And take legal, drugs ev-er-y day.
Meanwhile, young man, your choice is denied,
Welcome to drug a-par-theid*…..
Young man, we don’t care what benefits you,
I said, young man, make sure it’s our drugs you do.
Or else, young man, you’ll find yourself in court,
While our drug -Car- tels - own sport.
It’s fun to apply Apartheid Policy,
Just to force legal drug supremacy,
You can score a try, for your favourite drug
And give it’s cartels a hug.
It’s fun to apply Apartheid Policy,
Just to force legal drug supremacy.
We’ll help you get clean, then put you on drugs that are ‘real’.
You can feel what we want you to feel.
Young man, you will listen to me,
I said, young man, I own your right to be free.
I said, young man, you will do as you’re told,
Because your-rights-have-been-sold.
We will, tell you what to take for health,
I said, young man, suffering comes after wealth,
So, just go now, to the Pharmacy
Or to the pub and get off-your-tree.
It’s fun to apply Apartheid Policy,
Just to force legal drug supremacy,
We have all the drugs, that you need to enjoy,
You can abuse drugs with all the boys.
It’s fun to apply apartheid policy,
Just to force legal drug supremacy,
You can suffer with seizures, or a disease of the brain,
We don’t care that you’re in pain.
Young man, I know there are others like you,
Who benefit from Cannabis, yes I know that it’s true.
I just don’t care, you will take what I say,
Our drugs are-the-on-ly-way.
Young man, Our drugs kill thousands a year,
Yet they’re legal, so you have nothing to fear.
From persecution, prejudice and hate,
That now de-cides-your-drug-choice-fate.
It’s fun to apply apartheid policy,
Just to force legal drug supremacy,
Cannabiphobia rules, we play Australia for fools,
The law is now our personal tool.
That’s how we apply apartheid policy,
Replacing justice with drug supremacy.
A fair go has gone, drug apartheid has won,
So make sure it’s our drugs you’re on…….or else!

*APARTHEID-
.......(‘Social apartness’) discrimination is defined as “a policy of social segregation upon individual and collective coverings (‘heids’) defined by differential and/or preferential treatment”. The word ‘discriminate’ has its origins in an Aryan word meaning “to divide and separate”, and as we’ve all seen, the consequences of prohibition are the division and separation of a Nation and its people.
Article 1 - Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
“All peoples have the right of self-determination. By virtue of that right, they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development”.
Article 26 - Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
“All persons are equal before the law (what?) and are entitled without any discrimination (what?) to the equal protection of the law. (Yeah right!). In this respect, the law shall prohibit any discrimination and guarantee to all persons equal and effective protection (words fail us, but ‘Hah!’ comes to mind) against discrimination on ANY ground, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, Political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status”. Maybe one of these days.
