Lopster is a program originally developed for Linux. There is a version Available For Mac. It has better functionality then Drumbeat in almost every way. It has a much more sophisticated Downloading and Uploading system, and can produce many more search results! It even has a better support team and a very good forum.AND IT'S FREE.  It obtains it's own serverlists automatically from a source that provides it with up to date, current servers. Drumbeat downloads server lists from other users, who haven't removed inactive/defunct servers or added new ones to these lists. therefore, it foolishly tries to log on many servers that don't even exist anymore!  on top of this kind of ISP abuse, the Drumbeat software is very protocol incompliant, sending floodings of abusive commands to the servers, causing server lag and reduced performance to the entire network..not to mention it has a lot of trouble connecting uploads, which doesn't allow it to give even a small fraction of what it brings in back to the community..which basically makes you someone who is paying money to use an unfair leeching tool on a free network! Also, Drumbeat disguises itself as Lopster to avoid being detected or banned.. it's easy to tell the difference from a Lopster user and a Drumbeat user, You can actually get something from a REAL Lopster user.
